i just know that the ethics classes in magical fantasy realms would be off the rails
Some advice for when you’re writing and find yourself stuck in the middle of a scene:
kill someone
ask this question: “What could go wrong?” and write exactly how it goes wrong
switch the POV from your current character to another - a minor character, the antagonist, anyone
stop writing whatever scene you’re struggling with and skip to the next one you want to write
write the ending
write a sex scene
use a scene prompt
use sentence starters
read someone else’s writing
Never delete. Never read what you’ve already written. Pass Go, collect your $200, and keep going.
Also, what about the fire and heat part? I am actually really curious about that one.
Soo, you have summoned the ancient one?
Anyway, let me start yapping.
First question: What are each of the Naga's favorite food/animal? And how diverse are their diets? Is it like that Tomura eats anything and everything and Dabi is like: I cam only eat 2,75 year old bird of this exact species that died when the sun kisses the mountains in the north. And Tomura is like carbs are carbs as he chews down om something questionable looking.
And where do they hide or what do they do during amd after sheds? Like my own pet snake hides under their water dish and then had a beautiful yellow glow with the usual reflective rainbow stuff. So does like Tomura hide in his cave as he is pissy and blind and has a blue or red glow after? Amd does Dabi have to bring him like damp moss for humidity for an easier shed? And does he held him bathe and clean if he has a bad shed? And I think Dabi would have easier sheds with his smooth scales.
How territorial are they? And do they still have some family bonds? Like does Dabi want to visit his family or does Tonura mourn the loss of his own or do they just not care.
Also what is their stance on fire? Because I know my snake could burn itself and be like mhmmm warm.. oh why does it smell burnt? Idk... who cares. Did that like happen with Dabi and Tomura makes fun of him like he doesn't have small burns on his stomach from sunbathing on boiling rocks?
It’s like my prayers have been answered
First question: Dabi has a very sensitive stomach, he has to be very careful about what he eats. He HAS to have his meats cleaned and well cooked, or else he’ll get sick. Dabi likes lamb and fresh fruit. Makes him very happy whenever presented with a fruit tree.
Shigaraki is feral, he’s not a picky guy. Will chow down on human flesh if hungry enough. Tomura likes wild boar and mice, he finds it specially tasty when he had to fight to get it
Shigaraki does indeed hide during shedding, bro doesn’t like people looking at him. He finds it so humiliating whenever his vision gets cloudy, hisses every time he bumps into something.
Dabi just sees it as a normal process but very cumbersome. Requires some assistance from Shigaraki.
Dabi has no desire to see his family, he’ll get very upset if he even thinks about them intruding on his territory and fucking with his mate/possible hatchlings. He’s chill with Rei and his siblings but it’s on SIGHT for Enji
Shigaraki is very quiet about his family, only mentioning them when needed. He does keep some remnants of their bodies in the den but he’s rarely in that spot.
They are territorial, they loathe it whenever some human or other mythical creature is in their domain. It’s especially bad whenever it’s wintertime/food is possibly scarce or when Shigadabi have entered their mating cycle.
When Reader comes into the mix, it only makes them extra territorial.
(Thanks for this! I’ve been longing to YAP again)
You have no idea how many people lurk on your work. No idea how many times people go back to revisit your work. How big they smile when they simply think about your work. How fast their heart beats, how excited they get when they see that you posted something.
People are shy with their feedback. Sometimes it’s because they’re simply shy. Other times it’s because they assume you already know how great and talented you are. Could be both.
My point is, even if you barely have any likes or reblogs, don’t get discouraged. You have a lot of silent fans, but they are still your fans. Keep on creating. Because there is always someone out there who will love what you have made.
There are many benefits to being a marine biologist
people need to realise that a poor little meow meow must be a character who has committed atrocities you cannot poor little meow meow a good guy that’s not how this works
I know the reporters are at the UAs main gates to ask for news on All Might, but this panel is genius.
Tomura is right there, at the left of the panel with his back to the audience, while one reporter says:
Why are you going to such lengths to shut us out!? Just a word or two would be enough!!!
To pair TOMURA with those words, in one of his first public appearances... He is looking at UA, the symbol of good heroes, he's looking at the place where All Might is teaching the next generation.
It can be read as:
1) Why are the heroes shutting out Tomura when all he needed was a word or two? To be saved, to be told everything would be okay, to be protected.
2) Why is society shutting out Tomura when all he needed was a word or two? To hear he could be a hero if he wanted, to be accepted, to be loved.
3) Why is Tomura shutting out everyone? What is he hiding? The irony of how the world demands him to speak and then won't listen to him.
It highlights again the consequences of lack of communication or poor attempts at it.
relapse is not a moral failure. substance use and addiction are not a moral failure. mental illness is not a moral failure. disability is not a moral failure. you have a health condition. you are struggling. recovery is not mean to be perfect, and if you're not in recovery, surviving is good too. i'm glad you're here, and i hope life treats you better soon. please know this is not your fault. you do not need to feel guilty over your own health.
My man Homer is about to drop The Iliad 2.0 with the kind of lying, betrayal, love, and death that is about to happen. A whole war and the destruction of either the Naga or the Harpy over a simple thing. A little egg. But this little egg is a symbol of annihilation and blood. The skies shall turn the crimson shade of the dead while the entire flora and fauna shall be drowned in the hot blood of sworn enemies.
Disclaimer: They are adults as they are in the finale, nothing graphic about their conceiving of reader is smutty. Also, biologically inaccurate
-These two noodle bois met due to an arranged partnership between their higher ranking clan members and they quickly grew close to another, despite Bakugou’s firecracker personality (Note: Bakugou is more aligned with his better fanon counterpart rather than canon) -During the eventual mating ceremony, they quickly became official mates and united their group together. Much to their clan’s delight and enthusiasm. -Both Izuku and Bakugou had their strengths and made an excellent couple -Although trouble had risen when it came to getting a clutch. They tried everything, ranging from a different diet change to temperature, still nothing -Till one day when Izuku had shared news of his and Bakugou’s single egg had breached their clan. Everyone was naturally excited, now they would have a leader and Izuku’s legacy would live on! -Then something terrible happened, a lone, rouge harpy had swooped in and stolen the egg from the naga parents. Despite Bakudeku’s efforts, their hatchling was stolen away. -The parents mourned the loss of ever knowing their hatchling, the clan mourned the loss of their family member -It wasn’t till Kirishima had seen something completely unexpected. A green haired baby, with cinnamon red eyes, peeking down at him from a harpy clan’s nest.. Shigaraki’s clan’s nest
The drama is palpable, that’s for sure

Had to draw the two Nagas. Really bad on my newspaper I was reading.

I’ve decided to give a more updated physical description of our lovely snek friends. As well their methods of attack
Shigaraki is still a rattlesnake but his scales are the same shade of his pretty blue hair. His rattle and low, raspy laugh is synonymous with death and suffering. Professional hunters have advised to not hunt Shigaraki down.
His venom acts like his quirk in canon, but the process is much more slow and grueling. Shigaraki prefers to coil around his victims and slowly strangle the life out of them. The last thing his victims see, is his sick, twisted grin.
Shigaraki also has the ability of hypnosis, kinda like Kaa from the Jungle Book. The two have one thing in common, they both enjoy toying and playing with their food.
If Shiggy is feeling merciful or impatient enough, he’ll give a healthy dose of venom or simply break his victim’s neck.
He’s not picky. He likes keeping little trinkets of his most.. troublesome kills. Shigaraki adorns a necklace carrying skeleton fingers and jaguar teeth.
Dabi is now a Blue insularis pit viper, a gorgeous blue viper. The sound of scales sliding across the forest floors and the sight of haunting yet beautiful blue eyes is synonymous with Dabi.
His tail used to be so pretty but is now mixed with those gnarly purple scars. Unlike Shigaraki, Dabi is purposefully alluring and cryptic with his intentions but, everyone ends up the same.
Unlike Shigaraki, who is absolutely sadistic in every sense of the word, Dabi prefers getting on with the process.
He bites down onto his victim, watching his victim slowly die from the toxic and almost burning like sensation it gives, if he’s feeling impatient enough, he’ll simply but swiftly snap its neck.
Piercings connect his burnt and normal skin, he also has sharp claws as well. Perfect for shredding up meat for his hatchling.
All in all, unless you’re Reader Chan, no one is spared from their wrath.
(Not completely accurate to their biological snakes but who cares, it’s fictional.)
