I whole heartedly agree with this statement
Hi. Listen to this. It is nearly three hours long but I also think it is genuinely one of the very best ttte stories out there.
Okay one thing that bothers me more than the weird as fuck ships in MHA is that some of them have shipnames that are just wrong, in they way their set out.
Like who is putting first name to last name, like I know this is because a lot of the girls go by their first names but like, you either do First name-First name or you do Last name-Last name, or if you want to Nickname-Nickname.
Like that just seems logical to me why are we not putting hypothetical partnerships on the same level, why is it BakuDeku? instead of like Katuku, or Kachku? like hell Izuski? Like but them on the same level.
Two other examples that I can think of from the top of my head are TodoMomo and KiriMina, there good names I'll give them that but again, leveling you go ShoMomo or Todorozu. And for KiriMina that can become Eijmina, or Kirido, like these work guys.
Genuinely the ones that got this right are all the Kaminari based ships, like KamiJirou, perfect no notes, because Denyouka sounds like a Yogurt brand.
Also would just put in my two cents on ship titles like the name things or whatever you call them like Izocha's Green Tea.
Todorozu is clearly Candy Cane, the colours and having to eat sugars, yeah easy.
Ejimina, Obobleck, like is a liquid when you hold it but if you compress it becomes solid, like genuinely that's just what a combo would do.
Throwing KamiJirou in the back with Amp, short simple and sweet.
The only reason why they have so many walls put up in their lives is because Horikoshi knew that if these two theater kids interacted and became friends would get along like a house on fire.
Shoutout to my favorite traumatized blondes who put on a somewhat false persona to mask their guilt and/or inferiority who are sometimes depicted one dimensional in the fandom but actually are really complex!
"Moring Thomas"
"Hello, FatFace!"
"Oh Quite FishTank!"
So my friend @sekiumiarashi and I have created a bit of Sodor culture between the engines. That being personalized insults. The insults are a sign you know and care enough about the engine to know how they fucked up. You want to show you care but also say “fuck off you’re being a bitch”. Every engine has them, Thomas having the most. Here are some
Gordon: Oh go up a hill. // Mr. Ditchwater // Did lose your way again?/Who lost the route for you this time? // Mr. Diesel Buffers // Domeless
Thomas: Go fall down a mine. // Mr. I make good decisions (mainly used by Edward) // Remember your coaches this time? // Gone fishing?/Got fish in your boiler? // Enjoy your world tour? (Whenever he’s late) // regular law breaker
Percy: Dirty Percy // You get in a jam? // Did you have a snack break? (When he’s late) // Mr. Whistle-mouth // Non-refundable (only in our au)
James: Don’t get your bootlaces in a twist // Mr. Buzzbox // Mr. Bridge-cracker (by Toby and Gordon only) // Tar-face/tar-wagon
Henry: Get stuck in a tunnel // Sir Improper Funnel (by Percy only)
Emily: Your highness
Edward: Mr. Know the rails (by Gordon only in our au) // Lose a water wheel?/Lose a wheel?
Feel free to add more if you’d like.
She has her dumbass boyfriend on the maracas, this will be fun.
I think the Jirou as a part of the Bakusquad debate can be settled in an easy manner, she is to the group what Batman is to the Justice League, she's the part timer who happens to be there nearly all the time.
One of my Moot's refered to her as the groups Sixth Power Ranger, and that honestly fits she is there but she's not always there.
I think she works in the group because she's the base to everyone's more chaotic energy, she keeps them steady because she can rein them in.
They don't understand anything about the human body, but do understand the replacing of their cells every seven years, that just sounds rational to them
Like, engines are "born" fully grown and everything in place. And everything should stay in place. No parts falling off. Everything is perfectly secured and everything is the exact size it should be. Nothing changes except their mental age.
So imagine when they find out that humans grow from tiny to well, slightly bigger (Compared to them.) and everything inside them, organs and all, grows with them??? Or their teeth just fall out at a certain age and then regrow? Or that we can't just replace parts? Or at least, if we lose something, it won't be like before. Or how bout that we basically have no protection? We're just skin and bones? No protective metal and super strength to protect us. Unless we build it ourselves. But most people don't have a suit of armor sitting around their house. And yet, we somehow survived this world? What is this witchcraft?!? Lol! These must be weird concepts to them.
Yeah, have this stupid KamiJirou overlay, the main reason was the bag.
One thing I adore about Piezo being a post war fic is that, everyone of them are snarky little shits, throwing out one liners and fucking with each other to a grand degree, examples.
Katsuki throwing out nicknames like his name is Tony Stark.
This version of Hanta is really into poking fun at peoples relationships, as it Fumikage for some reason, Mina is a menace.
Mineta, weirdly got toned the hell down I might have accidently made him a new character.
And for some reason I write Shouto with James May mannerisms, just for the hilarity of the 'Hello' meme.
Right so had a thought about MHA's time skip, what if the reason none of them could get in contact with Izuku is because he was off doing his own Bruce Wayne training arc, like everyone is actively trying to contact him but he keeps saying he's elsewhere.
Shoto: "So I called him last week to ask if we could have some lunch at that nice Bistro, he said he couldn't make it as he was out of the country"
Momo: "Where was he?"
Shoto: "He said something about Monk's in Nepal"
-
Katsuki: "That bastard Izuku is never even here where does he keep getting to!"
Hanta: "Last I checked he said he was in America"
Denki: "Where?"
Hanta: "New Jersey"
Denki: "Why the fuck is he in New Jersey?"
Katsuki: "Studying in Archam City"
Mina: "Didn't a new vigilante pop up in that city recently?"
Eijirou: "Yeah Green Finch, oh my god"
Denki: (Head in Hands) "He's working with the fucking Batman isn't he?"
Mina: "Ohh that's defiantly him"
-
Tim: "You know that new guy Izuku is pretty great, but there's something about him that rubs me the wrong way"
Dick: "And that is?"
Tim: "He's a hero getting a higher education in Archam, where it has been proven that higher academia is one of the contributing factors to becoming a villain, so I'm very confused about his choice of actions from here on out"
Dick: "Okay yeah that does sound rather weird"
