Tim: I'm off the meds, I'm a new person now.
Bruce: they were antibiotics, you don't have a spleen. You're delirious with infection!
I’ve seen a lot of post lately about how Tim has no traumatic backstory to justify becoming Robin and I just have to say: THAT’S THE WHOLE POINT!!! Tim was very much created to be a self-insert for young boys reading comics in the 90s. He was meant to a vessel for the fantasy of “what if I was Batman’s partner?” He was meant to represent someone who saw a person in need and decided to help, simply because he felt like it was the right thing to do. He was meant to represent what an average person can do to make the world a better place. His story wasn’t never meant to be driven by trauma, he was never meant to be stuck in the past or bound by fate. Tim doesn’t need a tragic origin to explain why he became Robin; he can help simply because he wants to help.
Do NOT ever talk about Jack Drake always being a bad father I am dying on this hill when I say most of his appearances since being kidnapped in knightquest was him learning how to be a real father to Tim
Happy Easter to my favorite post of all time 🌷💕
Peeling potatoes
i hope tim drake gets disowned and falls down the stairs in front of photographers and his boyfriend leaves him and all his friends stop texting him back and the spirits of his dead parents come back and call him a slur and he gets tetanus from a rusty nail on his ugly houseboat and the houseboat sinks and dick calls him inept and he develops a shellfish allergy for real and eats a shrimp and keels over dead
here's a Compilation of All the Necessary and Recommended Comics / issues to Read if you want to get to Know the Original Young Justice team from the young justice '98 Series :-)
if you have ANY comments, Questions, concerns, etcc, or want More Content for these Guys, lmk ^_^ this may include Many of their appearances, but it's not even Close to All Of Them !!!
i can't understand fandom's obsession with fanonizing tim to the point of unrecognizability because honestly canon tim is way funnier. he dropped out of highschool. he was figurehead ceo for like a week. he refuses to talk to his ex he parted on good terms with. he decided to go by red robin even though it was jason's name. he tried to clone his best friend. he ghosted said best friend. he dated two girls at once. he never had sex in his life. he used his his own surname as a hero name. he has no tragic backstory but decided to effectively ruin his life anyway. he has beef with a ten year old. he is a menace. he is a loser. i love him so much
Donna Troy by Chris Samnee
omg homophobic alfred
he was also the first Robin to realize the wonders of pants. Fucking brilliant
I used to think it was kinda weird that so many people interpreted Tim Drake as being sooo smart or whatever for figuring out Batman’s secret identity. And then I remembered that this is, in fact, the universe in which Lois Lane had no idea Clark Kent was Superman because he took off his glasses. Like yeah. Yeah okay I guess he really is a boy genius
