Little potion two frame gif for my neocities website(no link since it’s still under construction). Looks much better with transparency, but I couldn’t get it to export that way.
I wanted to try out different angles for the face, so this is the one I did today. My 3rd drawing using the markers, plus some coloured pencil this time.
I’ve been in a bit of a slump for a bit, and although I’ve been drawing and painting still, I haven’t really had the motivation to finish any of them. While I was practising faces though, a sketch I did stood out to me, so I decided to post it.
My attempt at drawing the character Rathgrithr from the actual play D&D game What’s Left of Us. (I recommend it if you have the time, it’s a neat story and has intriguing characters.
A WIP I’m doing. Ship in a bottle. I hope to animate it at some point, but I’m really busy currently, and the rotations I’m doing with the ship are currently a bit off.
The next time I’ll be free to really do anything is probably around christmas to be honest.
The right edge was a bit wonky on the previous version, so I decided to post a slightly updated version. I made the skull linger a bit more as well. I think it’s definitely an improvement on the previous version.
Irrelevant personal tangent under the cut
I’ve honestly been really happy so far with my forays into digital art and animation. I haven’t had much time to practise properly, so I’m not improving as fast as I would have liked, but nonetheless, it’s been fun.
I’m sort of in a bottle phase right now, so my next piece is probably going to be a ship in a bottle.
Been having a bit of art block recently. Still keeping up with practice, but haven’t really finished anything I’ve been happy with. Decided to just sit down for a bit and see what came out and I got this thing. Idek what it actually is, to be honest, but I like it.
(Oops it has one two few petals. That was definitely an intentional decision and not bc I forgot what flowers look like)
A plant study I did in watercolour. I actually really like it. It’s the first time I’ve done watercolour in a bit, and I’m happy how it turned out for the most part.
