This is an attempt to make connection to the fictional and real world , to understand the character in a better and deeper sense . Also to explain why a powerful charcter like him suffered on the inside .

Well , Elevation (rise in power) requires Isolation .

One can not rise above others , if he's with them .

The best example would be mountain tops , as you start climbing (as mountain goats do ) higher (in his case become powerful) you get isolated , because not everyone wants to go there , since we humans are social animals , isolation becomes loneliness if it happens for prolonged period and has more effects on us .

Inorder to understand his part life , we need to look into people who have suffered from isolation , (closest we could get to his life ) which is seen in patients who are hospitalized , inmates in prisions and asylums . These people's lives become a case study for the effects of isolation in humans .

He lost his loved ones and everyone he had in his life in various ways . After that he goes on his own and lives his whole life in the caves ( remote location), which increased the isolation even more .

Now the inmates , these people have committed crimes and witnessesed some of the most gruesome incidents and what is their punishment? .

1) Sentenced to death ( Quick )

2) Lifetime Imprisonment ( Slow , painful and torturous) because of the isolation and loss of freedom , the prisoners are forced to reflect on the deeds , leading development of guilt (unless they are totally deranged ).

Can you measure the weight of the guilt ? No but guess what it is the heaviest and crushes the bearer slowly but surely untill they die .

So you could say Madara was underwent the worst (kind of self imposed) Lifetime Imprisonment , cause he had no inmates ,no prison guards, utter isolation .

Imagine his guilt ,his little brother who he has grown to take care of, protecting him from falling while he crawls or learns to stand ,watching him grow since he was born , then watching him die right in front of his eyes . In south and east Asia honorifics are used to address elder siblings which adds the value and respect to the relation even more. That form respect makes one realize of their responsibility and love for the younger siblings. Izuna saying ' Ni san ' (is so cute 😭) but also becomes a reminder to him of his responsibility to protect izuna , at which he failed , it eventually must have haunted him as a ghost everyday .

Also someone with the amount of guilt he had would never want anyone else to suffer like he himself did. I guess that's why he thought that 'the eye of the moon plan'would be perfect, wanted to execute it on any price and condition because he had vision. He must have spent years thinking of every possible solution to the problem but got to the eye of the moon plan after reading stone tablet. He must have felt like a saviour cause he read the stone tablet felling everyone else is ignorant , that's why it's his responsibility to save the people of the world from what he has already suffered through.(Just like if you get into accident cause you didn't fasten your seat belt , after that accident you make sure all your family and friends in the car does it before they drive.)

Since his pain was greater the scale of people he consider became global .

He lost all his loved ones , everything close to him . He must have realized he has nothing to lose and that's what eventually made him powerful and almost invincible (his pain became his power ) That's the price of power , lossing everything , also all that time and effort he spent in his planning to make sure he does succeed was for the same reason cause he had no one but his goal .

Now , this level of isolation would have seriously left a normal human completely derranged if not dead in few years , but him being an intelligent and goal oriented person, also having seen the worst side of life ,('the worse has already happened to me now nothing scares me anymore '), he doesn't have anyone to live for , but his plan .These things kind of didn't let that happen + zetsu manipulating him .

The prision also reforms people , so many people who write books while they were imprisoned , gained a lot of wisdom in process. The 'Wake up to Reality 'speech is the proof of this . The price of wisdom is isolation.

On Madara & despair

Unfortunately we never had flashback on Madara's youth. So understanding him is always like playing the detective and putting dots together. But there is a brief moment where we have an idea of his mindset during the warring state era. It's the long Obito's monologue just after Neji's death. It's the only moment where Madara recognizes himself. And what I see is that solitude is what really hurt him the most and definitely makes him lose his faith on any of his principles. In comparison the old Madara here is beyond pain, age has distant him from that. Often he's quite bored about grandiose optimistic speech from other characters, people he knew are gone, nothing to believe in except stopping this reality, this world doesn't matter anymore to him. So read Obito carefully and replace it with Madara, it gives a new light to what his life could have been.

I want to put this also in parallel with Onoki's memory. His sensei was giving him a personal lesson, but that speech is intentionally a parallel with Madara's life. And we know that at this precise moment he had lost hope in Konoha, and was losing the trust of his own clan. In other word, even if he was one of the most powerful shinobi of his time, he's absolutely isolated and unable to defend his principle or Izuna's will.

And of course there is the nail on the coffin when he read the tablets. He found himself in a desperate situation and the infinite plan comes like a miraculous answer to his pain. Then, he puts all his energy into achieving it.

IZUNA THROUGH MADARA’S BIRTH CHART

Also dreamworld for his siblings .( Idk why I head canon him being peaceful and chill around them.) Eventually three of his siblings pass away quite young due to war , to the other world (spirit realm) , which is hidden from us . Since Pisces also represents the other worlds .

Now based on this , Izuna’s chart would have prominent Pisces/Neptune influence .This Neptunian presence could explain why no one actually knows about him truly . (except Madara)

The Neptunian Influence could also be why we only see him through imagination (pisces /Neptune) of the person ( Itachi ) speaking about him.

Look at Izuna when he was a child he looks so innocent , lost unlike Madara who looks determined most of the time.

It’s one of Neptunian /Pisces illusion , the lost / inocent look , could also be the reason for people to not be able to acknowledge his talent as a shinobi . At first it would have been difficult for even him to understand but as he would grow up he would have used this (illusion) so well cause stealth is also a strength . This would make him even more dangerous .

He was born an Aquarius Sun pair this Neptunian influence . He would be artistic while being logical , balancing both . He would be such a visionary scientist / revolutionary artist . He could be strategist among them not only regarding the war but also politics in and outside the clan . It also could be the reason why after his death Madara couldn’t maintain the communication with the clan as it was Izuna’s role.

Talking about Izuna’s death , according to data books he died when he was 24 which is a pisces degree (12°, 24° ) , I couldn’t help but notice it. but the Neptunian influence could also explain why even after his demise he lives as a spirit through his eyes that he offered his brother.

Rising  -  Capricon

The first house is our appearance to the world. Capricon in first house makes a person  reserved , stoic , serious , disciplined and calculating .Whenever you look at him the first time, you feel see these qualities in prominently cause his sun and mercury are also present in this first house .

With his Sun and mercury here he appears to be a man of few but meaningful words , also he is very strategic in his plans as we have seen how well he planned the infinite tsukyomi. Now the ruler of his first house Saturn , which is placed in sagittarius would give him heavy physique , buff with wide shoulders, a barrel chest, and thick thighs. But since it's Saturn it will happen gradually .

2nd house - Aquarius

The second house is our upbringing , family lineage . With Aquarius here it means unique (kkekei genkai of uchiha ). This can also be very technical ubringing (Uchiha's fireball jutsu ).

[ This is my personal observation .The signs  which have double rulers in this case Aquarius ( ruled by Saturn , then Uranus ) manifests as the traditional ruler themes first and then the modern ruler themes next .]

So upbringing first in early years it would have been about Saturnian themes then transformed into Uranian themes .

2nd house (self worth) , him feeling guilty of not being able to protect his brothers , a restriction  (Saturnian theme) then leading the clan to in order to work for the former cause,a revolution  (Uranian theme )  ,

3rd house ( Communication) being in pisces (other worldly -Neptune ) , can be seen when talks people are confused , not being able understand what he means , he talks like an old soul ,full of  wisdom , (Jupiter ruled pisces ) not just to fill silence but to give meaning to words .

This can be seen in two instances

1)Jupiterian theme/Enlightened Guru  -when explains to obito (The famous Wake up to reality speech)

2) Neptinian theme/ Confusing words  - when he insulted naruto ,but he didn't understand so obito had to explain it to him .

4th house (Family life ) in Aries (Warrior ) , with him being born during warring states , almost all uchihas being shinobi . Family possesing weapons is in fact true . Family Values could be Ariean themes( goal driven , developing power )

The ruler being mars is in 8h (things that we hide)These things were hidden from the outsiders ,(people know about Uchiha's powers but speak in hidden ways about it ). The way of shinobi could be seen from this .

5th house - Taurus

5th house represents ( creativity , pleasure  and also children ) with Taurus (building things , creativity , guarding, stubbornness)  here , we can see him enjoying the planning of village when he and hashirama were  children , inorder to protect other children including their brothers .

We also see him running towards to the little girl ( hiruzen' wife ) when she falls to save her . It also explains why he was so stubborn on building the village his way .

6th house - Gemini

6th house represents ( Daily chores , routine,  also enemies  ) in Gemini ( Quick fast , dual ) and top of this there is Uranus (Invention, uniqueness, ideas )here .

We see him practicing daily with hashirama who from the enemy clan  ( deep down they both knew it)

We see him sometime joking with him both also training seriously like shinobis , with Uranus here he was called a genius in his day to day life for his victories against adult senjus .

7th house - Cancer

7th house represents (partnership , shadow self ) , in cancer ( emotions, family ) with moon being its ruler , increases  it more , but outsiders don't see it as he his shadow traits ( hidden kindness) .

One can see him and izuna ( family ) leading the clan together as equals . He trusts his family for work , seen when he chooses obito .

He even choose to work with Hashirama cause he was caring to his own family , and that's why he describes Madara kind cause that's the side he saw in their partnership.

8th house - Leo

8th house  represents ( taxes ,sudden events , crisis,  even death , things we hide and bury, occult  ) in leo (creativity , stage , aesthetic ) with his mars and jupiter conjunction .He was in the underground tunnels (8h) while acting on his plan ( mars) Now we see him almost staging (how actors die in a scene but bot really ) his death , in the VoTE battle .

8h is also manipulation he was manipulated by zetsu , and then he manipulated obito for the Action (Mars ) on the plan .His actions (mars ) save obito from dying (crisis situation) .His knowledge( jupiter )in occult ( the sage six paths lore ,him summoning the gedo statue ) was expanded .

9th house  - Virgo

9th house represents (higher education , belief system , philosophy ) and Virgo (analysis , cerebral , service ) .The ruler being mercury in capicon lead him to be cynical and skeptical .This was seen , when he analysed and found fault in hashrima's belief that village is above the individuals , stated his priorities are backwards during VoTE battle .Madara believed that he was giving a service to humanity by putting them in an infinite tsukyomi so planned every step in detail by studying the stone tablet for this belief .

10th house- Libra

10h represents ( Public image , business , structure , government ) in libra ( partnership , balance, diplomacy) . So no wonder madara became a leader of the clan , but  what lead to his downfall. The ruler of libra ( venus) is in aquarius , although being the leader , he would have been very aloof and  got the image of cold , uncaring. So izuna being his partner to lead may have dealt with people majorly . Also it being in 2nd house (self, possessions) he took izuna who was closest to him abandoning his other clansmen when they were about to lose to enemy.

11th house -Scorpio

11th house represents ( ideas ,community , gains , friends) and Scorpio ( obsessions , passion ,intensity also transformations ) with pluto here rulling it gets intense

This is seen throughout his life , he didn't have many friends but he had one , hashirama .This explains his obsession with his friend ,with pluto it only got intense over the years so much that he waited to fight the real hashirama during the 4th war and was even hurt when hashirama rejected his offer .It is almost poetic he was backstabbed by his only friend . His transformation ( sage mode ) is seen by the shinobis ( community )

12th house - Sagittarius

12th house ( other worldly things , isolation , wisdom ) Sagittarius here almost feels at home alongside  Saturn . Saturn being his chart ruler he spent most of the time in isolation (12th h)in the cave and genjutsu . Putting himself in genjustu day after day , for years this is patience and hard work (saturn) while gaining knowledge  (sagittarius).

If you understand Itachi , he's out to convince sasuke and how would he do If it's not some greater plan beyond their Control, something totally out of bound as if he is connecting dots , on that " History Repeats Itself ".

So he does that by telling him Madara and Izuna rumored story , where he thinks Sasuke is like Madara , Itachi could be like Izuna . He sees himself to transform sasuke , to make him powerful like Izuna did for Madara . Since Izuna is younger he did by sacrifice , but he is older than sasuke so he has to force it out of him , put him in too much pain that he has no other option than to become strong . He was using fear , by telling him this story , of how he would end up like Izuna allegedly .

Madara is wearing that in his visions because sasuke does that in the present time line they were in .

Izuna has a ponytail , cause Itachi himself had it , in that time .

So his brain actually using the reality he knows to imagine what he hasn't seen .

Cause even after all it can be , All Imagination has to have some roots in reality .

Y'all do you realise that if Izuna with a ponytail was an illusion from Itachi's imagination, it means that Madara deep V neck was also an illusion all along?
