So like, I know I already talked to a friend about this, and someone has probably said it before, but....

What if the milk lady was Sayaka when she was younger. It might explain why she and Anri look so alike aside from lazy character design.

Timeline wise, that would probably mean she was dating her future husband at the time, then got married and had her daughter the year after. That could tie into why their marriage fell apart, because they rushed into a relationship.

Of course, she would probably get contacts and grow her hair out along the way, but still this adds some satisfaction in me.

Anyway, just my random silly thoughts.

So fun fact, in the game we originally considered two of the characters getting hanahaki disease. For those of you who don't know it's a fictional disease caused by unrequited love that causes the victim to cough up flowers and blood. If it's not treated or if the love isn't requited, the victim will die. Obviously we scrapped the idea because that was just too depressing. Not to mention, it put a lot of guilt and pressure on the player to choose specific characters, which didn't seem fair at all. It's up to the players to choose who they romance, not us. However, the idea still inspires me to draw stuff like this. So enjoy.

Ok so that didn't work. I would draw some stuff anyway but it is midnight again, very late, and along with other things. Posting or drawing something would not be wise right now and I have a schedule to go back to. Ikebukuro Records birthday celebration, canceled. Still feel free to post any fanart, reviews, jokes or just spread the word. It's just that my free time is limited. Education is holding me hostage.

Hey guys! It just struck midnight! And for me that means my teen years are officially behind me (please help I'm not ready to adult). So to celebrate, it would be really cool if people could spread the word about Ikebukuro Records, the Drrr!! Dating Simulator Demo. Feel free to send asks, draw fanart, do reviews, post jokes, and I might post some art if I feel like it ✌😋 (no stories though. College work says no)

This is another case of "please spread the word" because it's really important.

News regarding art in the game

So I talked to my former digital artist yesterday and she told me that she doesn’t want her art in the game. We were originally going to keep the art style of the demo until day 4 of each bachelor route, but to respect her wishes, the art style will completely change in the full game. 

It’s a bit inconvenient, but we’ll still send her drawn sprites, CGs, and backgrounds to the new digital artist once we get one for reference. At this point, I highly doubt a new digital artist would draw the amount of artwork in the game for free (we might get one for backgrounds and one for sprites and CGs), so we’re probably going to have to pay the artist(s). We’re still pondering over what to do, but we’re considering setting up a Buy Me a Coffee page, but it’s not set in stone yet. However, please note: 

We will not use the donations for anything else but to pay the artist(s) and the game will still be free. Seeing people enjoying the game is all the payment we need. 

Now, this wouldn’t start until the scripts are done. There would be no point in hiring artist(s) just to have them wait around. However, we’re still looking for a manga x anime style for the characters. If the sprite and CG artist finds it easier to draw one more than both, that’s okay too. 

We’ll also be changing Riku, Arabella, and MC’s outfits, along with Riku and MC’s hairstyle. I can’t give spoilers, but they’ll have a more modern look. Their eye shapes, heights, and colors will remain the same though.
