i love pitting classically trained magic users against self-taught magic users in sci-fi/fantasy but it shouldn’t be snobbish disdain for them it should be terror

If I had a shapeshifting ability:

- I would give myself a dragon tattoo that moves around my body but mostly stays on the side of my arm. In public it would stay still and then when nobody was looking it would move just a little. When people looked at it again they would be super freaked out but wouldn’t ask anybody because they don’t want people to think they’re crazy.

- I would definitely change my eye color to something cool like purple or make them two different colors 

- I would definitely want wings. Probably like white feathered ones and I could swoop around next to an office building window when only ONE person is looking and they can be like: did you just see that guys 

- I would make myself look like a celebrity for a day just to see what it’s like 

- Give myself a metal arm like bucky barnes and edward elric and see how hard I could punch. and set off all metal detectors I go through lol

- Turn into someone dead and see how people react. If someone came up to me and asked if I were them I would act completely normal and ask them if they wanted a picture or something

- I would say I’m a celebrity impersonator agent so that if a person from a movie wanted a celebrity in a cameo role I tell them I found someone and then show up on the set looking like whoever they wanted. You want Morgan Freeman to be a witty taxi driver? I gotchu. That’ll be $20,000 please. (this one’s based on a quora response lol)

- I would turn into a pegasus and fly around at 2 in the morning maybe be the next nessie or something

- I would become a famous rockstar, then fake my death. I would let myself be sighted occasionally and let people speculate about if I died or not

- Become a mutant like in X-men and give myself any powers I wanted. What can I say, superpowers are sick.
