Hey everyone, my name is Abdelmajed. I don’t usually talk much about myself, but today, I want to share a little piece of my story.
I was born and raised in Gaza, a place that has always been my home 🏡. I grew up surrounded by my family, my friends, and the streets that I knew like the back of my hand. Life wasn’t always easy, but we had love, laughter, and dreams. I used to think that no matter what happened, home would always be here. But life has a way of changing things in ways we never expect.
Over the past months, everything I once knew has disappeared. The streets that were once filled with children playing are now silent. The houses that held so many memories are now just rubble. And the people I loved—some of them are gone forever. 💔

Nari Ask Game
14. Is he based on any particular breed of cat such as a puma or a British shorthair?
My Narinder is an amalgamation of different things. I took a lot of inspiration from servals and a domestic medium hair. So he’s got the comically large ears of a serval and his fur grows to about a medium length.
He has shorter fur near the beginning of his induction into the cult because he lost a lot during his time chained. So it takes a while for new and healthy fur to grow in!
23. Are the kits, Aym and Baal, really his children?
Ooh, I love talking about these two and Narinder. I might rant a bit, be warned lol.
They are not biologically his kittens. However, Aym and Baal are his sons in every other sense of the word. He raised them since they were only a few months old. The paternal instinct is strong with this one.
Narinder in my story is very much like his game counterpart in regards to the twins. He cares very deeply for them but continues to keep them at arms length in hopes they’ll grow to become strong and independent. When they’re resurrected, my Narinder rejects them so they will spend their newfound life and freedom apart from him. He sees his presence as their own set of chains. He does not want his existence to bind them anywhere so they can grow and develop as something more than his divine guardians. It hurts him to let them go but of course, he never outwardly shows this.
Although he may not admit it aloud, those are his sons. To him, they will always be his sons. And even though he never says the words, Aym and Baal know how much he loves them, even if they took his initial rejection to heart(which who wouldn’t). I actually have a small ficlet of their dynamic after they reunite with Forneus and travel the world. If people are interested, I’ll likely share it!

I feel the need to mention that I am also working on a oneshot for this au. It does tie into the main story! This oneshot happens well after the comic I just posted.
Tensions have eased between them slightly. The Lamb is not angry with Narinder anymore and Narinder is still an emotionally constipated asshole. So they’re making some slight progress.
I won’t give too much context for these little snippets because I enjoy surprising my readers. :)

This comic was months in the making. Originally I was going to color and line it but that sounded like way too much work for me to get done in a timely manner so here's it in sketch form. Which I think still has the intended effect. (sorry if the style looks like it changes at some points)
This is a part of my au! This takes place weeks after Narinder's defeat so they're both still a little salty. Nari's becoming slightly softer as time goes on, though. Wonder why hmm
I love this au and I do plan on releasing some character designs along with a lore dump at some point...but that probably won't be until I graduate because I will be incredibly busy until then. So, if you have questions about my au. Please ask. Please. I love yapping about these blorbos. :]

I haven't talked much about my Lamb (Miel) yet, so here's a little insight. :) Miel is an observer. They are quite literally the shepherd of their flock. They both guide and watch over their followers. Sometimes they will sit on their steeple and watch the followers all day and night. This helps them be incredibly in tune with their followers' physical tells and wants, as well as their mental ones. Miel has a particular affinity for watching Narinder sulk around the cult when they spare him. They find his contradictory nature fascinating, even if they are still furious with him when he first arrives. This character trait is mostly based on me being incredibly nosy with my followers in game. Sometimes I won't even meditate to speed the day along, and I'll watch just these fools do silly things. Very entertaining.
what's a characteristic you've given your Lamb and why?
I'll go first: My Lamb talks a lot. They're a rambler, and I got the idea from spamming the 'B to Bleat' button in game. Lil dude has a special button to repeatedly make noise

My lambsona's name is Eden! She becomes the God of Dreams and Reality after she dethrones Nerys. The majority of the story stays the same. Nerys, my beautiful maned lioness version of Narinder, wants to have all of her siblings killed for trapping her in the Dreamscape. The Bishops get rid of all the sheep and Eden is the last sheep.
I'll ramble about only Eden in this post because I have a feeling it will get very long lol. If people are interested about Nerys and Inara (Eden's first spouse) I will make separate posts about them and their designs.

Some Eden lore!
In this world, sheep are nomadic and live in large herds. Each herd has its own traditions and customs. Eden's herd was unique in their braid symbolism! This is why she wears a braid.
In Eden's herd, braids were a coming-of-age symbol for rams. When rams were first budding into adulthood, they would keep their wool short. As they came of age, they would be sent on a mission to be victorious in something. It could be anything from a contest of arms, wits, or discovering something new! Once they returned with their proof of victory they then braid their wool. The strongest of rams in the herd wore braids and were more likely to be chosen as mates. When a ram and ewe mated, they would each weave smaller marriage braids into their wool(this is why Inara has a small braid on her design since she is Eden's spouse). Their braids showed their legacies, both familial and personal.
When Eden's herd was killed, they were the last sheep. She was sacrificed by the bishops on a burning pyre. When they awake in the space between worlds, the Dreamscape, Eden is surprised to see a tall figure looming over her. Nerys, the Bishop of Dreams greeted them and told them of her deal. Wear Nerys' crown, become her vessel, and kill her siblings in exchange for Eden's life and freedom. Eden, of course, accepts.
Now, some clever souls may be wondering, "Moon? If Eden died how did she go to Nerys if Nerys isn't the God of Death in this au?" What a wonderful and complex question! I'll get more into that in a post about Nerys specifically.
Eden's body is reconstructed and they arise from the ashes of the pyre. Reborn she now bears twisted and foreboding horns. From then on, Eden becomes a ruthless and merciless force. They slay each Bishop one by one being given many monickers.
"The Ewe", "The Unbowed", "Mother of Dreams"... With each Bishop slain, she grew her wool longer and longer in remembrance of her herd. This is how long her wool is when she slays the last Bishop. This is when she braids her wool to symbolize her victory over her oppressors.
Eden was not a good leader at the start. Inara, one of her first followers, saw Eden's madness firsthand. They were far more concerned with killing the Bishops than taking care of a cult. But when cultists began leaving and her power dwindled, she knew something had to change. Inara helped Eden become a more compassionate and present leader and thus her power grew, and so too did the relationship between Eden and Inara.
After Eden becomes more stable, they are seen as a somber and serious leader. The Ewe is the mask Eden wears amongst her followers and it is the gloomy and reserved face that she normally expresses. Aside from Inara and Nerys, no follower alive currently has even seen them express any other emotion. Not even the Bishops see them express anything else.
When the last Bishop is slain...we all know how this story goes. Eden returns to the Dreamscape to tell Nerys of her ultimate victory, the ancient goddess demands her crown back and for Eden to sacrifice themself to her. Eden, confused and betrayed by this request, refuses and stands to fight. After a long and grueling battle, Eden slays Baast and Ala (Nerys' protectors and this au's version of Baal and Aym) and thus, defeats Nerys.
Nerys pleads for death but Eden cannot grant that to her. Instead, Eden uses their power over reality to erase her memories. Eden decides to give Nerys a fresh start, not wanting to look at or interact with the goddess that inadvertently ruined her life. There's more nuance and complexity to the way Eden and Nerys see each other but that will ALSO require its own post and some doodles to go along with it. If people are interested, and even if they may not be, I will post something going into this lol.
Same for Eden and Inara's relationship. That could also get a whole post of its own. As you can tell, I have made a lot for this au and there's still a lot more worldbuilding and character creation I still have to do!
As for what happens after Eden defeats Nerys that's still in the planning stages. I have to figure out how this version of the Mystic Seller is going to get Eden to bring back the Bishops and if that even is a feasible thing they can accomplish. It's all very messy lol.

He confessed with full confidence that they would accept him over everyone else cause of course. Why wouldn't they? Oh? They said no! Well actually, they said they're gonna pretend that they didn't hear that haha whoops. Lamb fumbled for another 200 years.
Its fiiiine this opened them both up to talk about it later and they'll test the waters soon.... In another few years. Boy gotta yearn for this lamb. It's what they deserve.

I got a lot of asks about Narinder's resurrection. At first I planned to do only one page, maybe two, and put the rest in the description. But as I said a few times, I'm not good at writing, I feel much more comfortable in making comics. And there'll be more parts for sure, because I couldn't sleep one night so I was thinking and planning the rest of the plot
