I keep seeing comments about how idols donât have the right to complain or feel sad because theyâre âcelebritiesâ who are ârichâ. Honestly, that makes me really mad. Idols are humans too. They have their own thoughts, emotions, and feelings. Theyâre not perfect, just like us, and thatâs okay. I understand that some people may not like some idols for certain reasons. However, that does NOT give you the right to be leaving hateful/hurtful comments on their social media accounts or music videos.Â
The idea that mental illnesses are not real needs to stop. Mental health issue is very much a real and serious issue. Idols have their own problems and struggles that we fans will never know about unless we become idols ourselves. You canât just go around telling them how to feel or what to do because you have this particular view of them. Theyâre always under constant pressure to be âperfectâ and thatâs already hard enough on them. They do NOT need any hateful/hurtful comments to read. For all you know, those words could be the last straw.
Ever since the devastating news about Jonghyun was announced, I keep seeing those terrible comments about him and other idols. Thatâs why I decided to make this post talking about just a few idols who talk about these issues. Isnât one death enough for you all?? How many deaths does there need to be until you realize that this is a serious issue that needs to be handled delicately? Why do you have to continue to criticize idols and tell them to go die just because theyâre not doing/didnât do something exactly the way you want them to? Why do you make their mental health issues invalid simply just because theyâre celebrities? Remember that these idols are human beings too. Think before you post, comment, or say anything. Once you say it, it cannot be taken back. Donât say something that youâll regret later on. This goes for any mental health issues regarding a human being, idol or not.
I just saw a post that completely took my breath. Not in a good way.
Said post calls for people to âreblog if you want Adam Driver to suffer even MORE [from] anxiety for being an UGLY, islamophobic, UGLY, imperialist HIDEOUS personâ I donât even know what so say about this post I am in shock.
(In this post thereâs also a blog -> (x) linked in which they reason their hatred towards Adam (I suppose, I only saw the first post.. I just couldnât look at all their hate any longer)
I am simply speechless. I really have no words for this. WHY would you make someones anxiety worse? Because you donât like a character that he is portraying? Because he stated that he went to the marines after 9/11 and you just assume itâs because he is islamophobic? (I thought Iâd let you know by now that theres a huge difference between muslims and terrorists) And the most banal reason of them all.. because you think he is UGLY?
UGLY?
And the shocking thing was that 180 people or so actually reblogged that bullshit.

You know what I think is really cool about language (English in this case)? Itâs the way you can express âI donât knowâ without opening your mouth. All you have to do is hum a low note, a high note, then another lower note. The same goes for yes and no. Does anyone know what this is called?
dont abuse anyone, no matter what gender they may be. abuse is still abuse.Â

Hello all. Iâm here to address what no one wanted to talk about for so long. Tomorrow, the issue on net neutrality goes up for debate. If it goes through, that means myself and a lot of other blogs will no longer have access to our accounts unless we pay for it. Now, normally I wouldnât be too worried. But 2017 has been full of surprises and I donât really know what to expect anymore. If it does happen, it wonât take action until about 1+ years and by then, who knows. There will be uprisings, protesting, and so much more. So hopefully it wonât last forever. If this happens, I want to say thank you. Thank you for reading my work, supporting my account. Thank you for letting me share my love for all these groups.
I love you all.
i dont want to lose the ability to watch bts music videos for free. please dont let net neutrality go away.Â
The FCC sided with Comcast and decided to let ISPs censor the internet. The Internet needs to stop this from happening: http://cms.fightforthefuture.org/tellfcc/
Last Wednesday, FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler announced a proposal for new rules that would allow for a â fast laneâ of Internet traffic for content providers who are willing (and able) to pay a fee. [1] The proposal reverses the FCCâs previous commitment to net neutrality and open internet and allows ISPâs like Comcast or Verizon to slow down and censor services that donât pay the toll.
We have to be totally honest, this situation is seriously grim. But there is still hope. The FCC already knows that the Internet community wants net neutrality, but they think they can put their spin on these new rules and sneak them through. If we can prove them wrong right now with a massive public outcry, we can literally save the Internet once again.
We need to stop the FCC now. Big business groups are already ramping up lobbying efforts with the FCC in swarms since Wednesdayâs announcement in support of censoring the open Internet and to ensure this dangerous proposal moves forward. [2]
This is a critical moment. In the last few weeks more than 65,000 people have taken action with us. Can you help us get to 80,000 by the end of the day today?

Itâs real simple: ISP lobbyists are pushing the FCC to kill net neutrality so phone and cable companies can block apps, slow down websites, and charge fees to control what you see and do online.
Our only chance is congressional pressure and legislative action. But we need grassroots support. Tell your representatives that you support âTitle 2â rules and ask for their help protecting a free and open internet.
What is net neutrality?
So Anon, I am very glad you asked this! Net Neutrality is the principle that Internet service providers should enable access to all content and applications regardless of the source, and without favoring or blocking particular products or websites. So, say you pay $19.99 a month for Internet right? All websites are included in that one price. You get Google, YouTube, Tumblr, and every other website for free after you pay the base coverage of $19.99 a month. However, Ajit Pai is trying to eliminate net neutrality, so companies that offer Internet service (Verizon as an example) can charge extra for websites and other applications on the Internet. So, again, say you pay $19.99 a month for Internet right? Well you only get a limited number of websites you can go on that are maintained and mandated by your Internet provider. So you wanna go on YouTube? Oh you have to by an extra $6.99 a month for that. You wanna go to academic websites for research? An extra $7.99 for that. You wanna go on Tumblr and Deviant art and AO3? Extra $4.99 a month for that. So without net neutrality, we are going to pay extra for websites that we use commonly everyday.Imagine having to pay extra to your Internet provider just to write a college paper. Imagine paying extra to seek therapeutic help through crisis websites for suicide and anxiety. Imagine having to pay extra just to express yourself online and keep our 1st Amendment, that we have freedom of speech and expression. These are just a few if the reasons why I myself am against it. Of course there are articles everywhere making the debate whether or not we should eliminate net neutrality. Iâd highly recommend reading up on some of the articles, as they are informative, eye-opening, and have a clear basis as to what will happen if the government does vote to eliminate net neutrality.Hope this helps Anon!!!! -Admin Germane :3
Why Net Neutrality Makes the Internet Great
Jungkook back at it with the twerking
IM NOT CRYING, YOUâRE CRYING.
1. Many struggling teens resort to the internet for answers on topics they are uncomfortable with talking to their parents about, like depression, sexuality or religion. 2. Without net neutrality, low-income families who use online educational systems would not get the free education they need. 3. Some small businesses are only on sites such as Ebay, Amazon and Craigslist. Without net neutrality, these small businesses would collapse. 4. Websites such as Google, Bing and YouTube would fail, because people would rather not go on these websites at all than pay for it. 5. Many people do not know important phone numbers such as the suicide help hotline, the poison control center, or roadside assistance numbers. Because net neutrality is what makes the internet free to use, many people resort to said internet to find important emergency numbers. 6. Itâs not just important phone numbers- itâs what to do in an emergency. Internet users can watch tutorials on emergency procedures, such as the Heimlich Maneuver, or they can search up what to do if they are being robbed. 7. A lot of jobs require access to the internet to function. Examples of this would include posting ads on sites like Google or Facebook, or simply needing it for research purposes. Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â 8. Taking away net neutrality would mean the the FCC would be able to censor or monitor what internet users do on the internet. Guess what other countriesâ governments do this? China and North Korea, both of which are communist countries. America should be known for its freedom, not its monitored/censored internet.
Apparently international votes don't count, just the votes from Korea.... Latest news đ
Itâs not confirmed yet that they only allow Korean voting. But because many ARMYs found out that they do not count their votes, the idea now is the use a VPN to change the location to Korea and be safe. This ARMY below named what VPN to get depending on your device. Letâs at least decrease the gap guys. After you download the VPN and change your location to Korea you can vote HERE
Guys, please be careful to vet that what you choose to signal boost is actually accurate. Iâm seeing a lot of well-intentioned posts today about Net Neutrality that are likely to do just as much harm as good due to misinformation in them.
For instance, we are not all suddenly shouting that the sky is falling because the FCC has PASSED the bill abolishing Net Neutrality and the changes are to be put in place some time this month. As claimed by one post I just saw with over 5,000 notes already. This is simply, unequivocally NOT true, and it can actually get in the way of the call to action that very post made, asking people to call and email their congressmen, because a lot of people who see that might think âwhatâs the point, if its already passed?â
It hasnât. Chairman Ajit Pai of the FCC unveiled in April his proposed plan to strike back the Net Neutrality regulations Obamaâs administration passed in 2015, and which have since 2015 been upheld by the courts in the face of Republican oppositionâs attempts to claim they overreached. What has people shouting the sky is falling NOW is because yesterday (November 21st) is when the date of the official vote on this proposed plan was announced. That date is December 14th.
Which means there IS still time to affect the outcome of the vote. People are pessimistic about the chances of this vote because the FCC board is held by a Republican majority at the moment, but make the passing of this bill seem toxic enough to other Republican interests and there is still a chance to keep it from passing.Â
Which is still a hell of a lot better than assuming the bill has already passed and that thereâs really no point.
We have until December 14th to kick up enough of a fuss that the Republicans on the FCC board think twice about voting for this bill. And even after that, there are still legal recourses. The courts have refused to uphold other bills Trumpâs administration has attempted to pass as overreaching, unconstitutional, and/or in opposition of the true will of the people - just as the Republicans attempted to do back in 2015 when the FCC under Obama passed the Net Neutrality laws in the first place.
This does not mean be complacent. This does not mean assume enough other people will raise enough of a fuss without adding your voice to the mix. It simply means THERE IS STILL TIME TO ACT. The sky may be falling, but until it finishes falling, thereâs still a chance to catch it instead.Â
today is Nov. 15. the FCC, under chairman Ajit Pai, will not listen to the public despite millions of comments in support of net neutrality. They are going to try their hardest to kill net neutrality, which in turn will kill the internet, which in turn will help eradicate democracy. it wonât just affect Americans, it has the potential to affect the entire internet, something we ALL use daily. you can bet your ass other countries will see america doing this, and use it as an excuse to do it in their own countries.
this is what buying a plan without net neutrality looks like there:
you have to pay MORE for features youâre already guaranteed to have under net neutrality. and in america, you already know how expensive everything is.
democrats AND republicans both want net neutrality. advocacy groups in touch with congress have said that if your members of congress receive calls from you, they are more encouraged and more likely to take action to stop Paiâs plan to gut net neutrality. after Nov. 22, it will be MUCH HARDER to convince your member of congress.
please, call them. call them daily.
