i know ppl defend zoos bc of conservation but idk i feel like protected wild areas and sanctuaries are a far better alternative im not a conservationist ot an animal behaviourist so ofc im open to hearing any other views from ppl more educated but i think the concept of displaying animals in enclosures for profit and human enjoyment is way darker than ppl acknowledge most the time..
