thinking about the scene in barbie where she asks for permission to be herself and she's told she doesn't need permission, and no one can give her permission for that, because it's just something you start doing

thinking about the scene in barbie where they say you don't need to be exceptional to have worth and deserve love, because just getting through the day is often hard enough

also thinking about the scene in barbie where barbie tells a bunch of construction workers she doesn't have a vagina and the construction workers who have no context beyond her being a pretty girl are like "oh okay that's cool"

what does it mean to be barbie?

So this has a story, I’m curious how many actually know the books I’m talking about:

Back in like…6th grade, I was introduced to this old novel series called “Birth of the Firebringer”. Really short trilogy, I could read through it in a couple days. So, I did.

Basically, a story of unicorns, thrown from their home by lying wyrms, and only to return when the prophesied Firebringer is born, introducing his people to fire which would kill the wyrms and they could return home after 400 years.

Hard to summarize all of it, I read it again recently and was pleasantly surprised that I still very much enjoyed the books.

There are also gryphons and dragons and other beasts, I’ll draw them at some point.

This was going to be an animatic (and may?? still be?) but then it turned into a comic I guess! Big BIG props to camila cuevas!! Got me back into Undertale not once but twice man she’s talented!! Anyways hope you like! Sorry if I broke any tumblr/Undertale etiquette I just rose from the dead so :P im just guessing how tags and comic posting goes hoho

Head canon : When the doctors asked Nurf’s mom what they should write on the birth certificate , his mom (possibly a bit loopy on pain medication) attempted to insult the Doctor : something like ;

Nerf’s mom “*mumblemumble* -uKING GAYLORD” Doctor : *startled* A-Are you sure? Nerf’s mom : YEAH IM...im sure...you’re a *mumblemumble passes out*

and boom she decided to keep it because fuck it
