What are Lloyd and Hellspawn's ages throughout the seasons?
So Lloyd had her about six months before s3, so I headcannon he'd just turned physically 15 then (mentally 11 but in the end, he makes it work)
Rebooted
Lloyd: 15 Hellspawn: 6 months of chaos (& Lloyd almost in tears from stress)
Tournament of Elements
Lloyd: 16 Hellspawn: 13 months (can walk & say two other words than sugar now)
Possession
Lloyd: 16 Hellspawn: 15 months and wondering where the heck her dad went.
Skybound
Lloyd: 17 Hellspawn: A 2 year old menance
Hands of Time
Lloyd: 18 Hellspawn: 3 year old begging to be taught spinjitzu but being told she's too young
Sons of Garmadon, Hunted, MoTo
Lloyd: 19 Hellspawn: 4 year old who wants her dad to stop feeling sad
The Secrets of the Forbidden Spinjitzu & Prime Empire
Lloyd: 20 Hellspawn: 5 (kindergarten is getting fun)
Master of the Mountain
Lloyd: 21 Hellspawn: 6 year old who never expected to end up in an underground whirlpool with a princess, uncle cole & her granduncle. Papa u lie. U said it was a vacation.
The Island & Seabound
Lloyd: 22 Hellspawn: 7 (what happened to aunt nya?)
Crystalized
Lloyd: 23 Hellspawn: 8 year old who wants harumi sent realms away from her dad & left to die

Lloyd: 28 (he's somehow very old in her eyes) Hellspawn: 13 year old who won't stop asking her dad how he burned tea after finding out from sora
that's child endangerment
...... I come home. without a snake. and with three bites
I don't think they were bites of appreciation :( bye noodle noodle. leaving you in the woods. Going to treat this stuff now
So I saw this tweet and
It reminded me of a theory I once had about Crystalized — which got quickly debunked when the trailer for part 2 came out (no surprise there)
But I just thought that when Lloyd goes apeshit, Garm comes back into the picture and is forced to fight him — only, he's back to being Sensei Garmadon once more on the inside. My dude finds himself in a position where he's supposed to save his son like how Lloyd saved him before but...he doesn't. He can't.
So in others words, Crystalized ends with Lloyd dying like Morro. Maybe Lloyd would think the only way to be redeemed after all he's done is by deciding to do some sacrifice to destroy the Overlord...once and for all, this time.
And Garm watches. He'd feel the guilt forever.
Ok, so i know that we already established that hellspawn hates harumi with a burning passion. But i need more than that.
How is their dynamic?
Does harumi still tries to "connect" with her only for her to retort with an impressive amount of sass for a 4yo? Does she think of how when all of this is over she will bash that brat's head into a wall?
Does hellspawn cling to her daddy's leg and give her death glares in every possible situations? Does she try to prevent any "romantic" moment/chemistry between the two?
And after harumi is revealed and the ritual "failed" is she going "I told you so" to literally everyone? Does she try to comfort lloyd saying stuff like; "you can't be sad because of her daddy thats what she want" or "there are far better possible mommies out there" or maybe even "im pretty sure she snores in her sleep anyway"
And lastly will there ever be a situation (maybe in s16?) That suddenly golden blond hair becomes long platinum braids, eye color becomes one she saw in the mirror every day, and even the scared look on her face became suddenly painfully familiar as harumi watched for mere few seconds as the green ninja's daughter image was replaced with her younger self
I have to say...that this is by far, my favorite ask from you.
I think Harumi would still try to connect with her, even though their dynamic is initially , 'seemingly nice princess tries every possible way to make a wary child as comfortable as possible in her presence' — I'm saving most of the sass for s16, when hellspawn's only sees this woman as a psycho.
But for s8, (at first) it's more like she's clinging to Lloyd's leg looking visibly uncomfortable. She knows that something is off, but she can't tell what. The ninja don't see anything wrong, and neither does Lloyd. Maybe she's shy. Or maybe the princess' makeup is scary. That's probably why she's acting like this.
Then in Dead Man's Squall, we get to see the death glares thing, which Lloyd reprimands her for when they're alone. The other ninja think it's cute because it just looks like she's jealous of the attention the princess is getting. And when Lloyd tries to stand beside Harumi in the control room, hellspawn reaches for his hand. She doesn't like it when her father and the Harumi are alone in the same room and FSM does something feel off.
But fortunately, after Dread on Arrival, Lloyd finally apologizes to her for dismissing her suspicions. We get to see some father-daughter comfort after that but it's mostly hellspawn doing the comforting because her dad just got himself some trust issues and a broken heart.
"And lastly, will there ever be a situation (maybe in s16?) YOUR MIND. OH DAMN, WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT
To answer that one, there should be. I hate Harumi's redemption arc in crystalized but it would be nice to see this lol — especially because, now that I think of it, hellspawn does look a lot like Harumi. Even though this woman's prepared to make this girl's dad's life a living hell and throttle his midget, I can see this happening. Maybe these two could get into a situation where Harumi has to choose whether to save this child or let her die. Or maybe the Overlord needs her for something — she was created with Lloyd's Golden Power, you know. Gosh, I love this. Thanks for the idea!
garmadon's face so silly in first panel why is he just : (
The unfamiliar familiarity of a childhood friend
I'm soo tired and that made me not finish.
Hi!
When you get this you have to list 5 books/book series you love. Then send this ask to last 5 persons from your notifications. Spread love.
Um... *sweats* the thing is, about 100% of my reading these days comes from fanfiction. But I think I can still remember what I read before discovering ao3 tho.
1. Star Wars: Lords of the Sith by Paul S. Kemp
2. The Harry Potter Series by J.K Rowling
3. Red Queen by Victoria Aveyard
4. The Curse by Lee Su Ann
5. The Diary of the Wimpy Kid Series by Jeff Kinney
I think the funniest part of crystallized was when people were like “oh guys your just being mean! Your being unfair the season hasn’t even come out yet! I’m sure this will be great” only for them to go “this shit sucks” when the season actually comes out /lh
Ninjago eye color headcanons cause I need a list
cole: brown. Easy. Just like his mom. I wanted him to have the a homey look to him. His eyes do turn orange when he uses his lava arms though.
Jay: blue-grey. Colored like storm clouds. I was actually thinking of giving him shattered iris'. Lightning look ya know. Ed and Edna have green and grey eyes.
Kai and Nya: hazel. More on the light brown side. I wanted a color for them both to share instead of them each having different ones. i like it better when they look identical.
Zane: icy blue. They look a bit more normal before season 4 but after he rebuilds they become... Glowy. I actually draw them like cameras. It's not noticeable but his eyes are oddly bright if you look too close. :)
Lloyd: this little traffic light ugh. His eyes are green usually. They glow. Red when he's tired/depowered or hasn't used his powers in a while. Reds his natrul eye color and it turns more purple after he uses his oni stuff the first time. Gold when golden power stuff happens, idk.
Lloyd and Lord G are my coping mechanism. I'm also on FFNet and AO3 And yeah, I can't draw.
