Okay but all this food that adar is serving up for Galadriel begs the question: does he have an Uruk private chef? Is one of his children just super passionate about cooking and finally getting to let loose with a fancy meal? Did Adar cook all of this himself?!??
good morning, vampires!
I will forever appreciate a theme in my fictional stories, & thatās exactly what Wind Breaker (by Nii Satoru) has, so, I present:
Wind Breaker characters have a theme to their names.. a thread:
so, even though our protag groupās name is written and visually represented as āwind chimeā, BÅfÅ«rinās name is where this groupās theme of trees/plants start:
é²é¢Øé“ (āprevent/protectā āwind chimeā) has the same reading as é²é¢Øę, a type of forest planted strategically to prevent wind erosion of soil ā much like FÅ«rinās mission of protecting and serving their town
all of BÅfÅ«rinās named members (and close associations) so far have some element of tree/plant/wood in their last name (if you look at the kanji of their last names, youād see a lot of wood radicals/ęØåę):
ę” é„ ā¢ Sakura Haruka: ę” / cherry tree
(fun fact: his name é„ / haruka means "far"; also it's commonly a feminine given name)
čę é¼é£ ⢠SuÅ Hayato: ę / sandalwood (?) or tree used as timber, general term for wooden beams in houses
(fun fact: his last name čę is the Chinese name of a traditional reddish brown color, named after a pigment made from čęØ!)
ę„”äŗ ē§å½¦ ⢠Nirei Akihiko: ę„” / Siberian elm
ęäø äŗ¬å¤Ŗé ⢠Sugishita KyÅtarÅ: ę / Japanese cedar (cryptomeria japonica)
ę ē»é¦¬ ⢠Hiiragi TÅma: ę / holly osmanthus (osmanthus heterophyllus)
(fun fact: his name ē»é¦¬ means "to mount a horse"; no, not that kind of mount, the regular horseback riding kind)
ę¢ å®® äø ā¢ Umemiya Hajime: ę¢ / plum tree
(fun fact: his name äø is just "one")
This association also extends to Kotoha, who is very closely associated with BÅfÅ«rin:
ę© ē“å¶ ā¢ Tachibana Kotoha: ę© / orange tree
(if you want to go to later parts: part 2 - shishitoren & part 3 - noroshi!)
梶 č® ā¢ Kaji Ren: 梶 / paper mulberry (broussonetia papyrifera)
(fun fact: his name č® / Ren means "lotus")
椿é ä½ ā¢ Tsubakino Tasuku: 椿 / Japanese camellia
(fun fact: their name ä½ means "to help/protect" or "to bless"!)
ę”ē äøč¼ ⢠KiryÅ« Mitsuki: ę” / empress tree (paulownia tomentosa)
ę굦 大河 ⢠Tsugeura Taiga: ę / mandarin melon berry (maclura tricuspidata)
There's also ę”ē¬ å (Momose Takumi, "peach tree") & ę°“ęØ č”ä¹ (Mizuki Saku, "wood"), the two other Heavenly Kings
I hope I have rly driven the point home here,, /lh

I spent weeks on each of these months ago and I never posted them because I love them so much and I've heard the horror stories of people stealing movie poster designs so I was hesitant. But I revisited them briefly recently and figured it was finally time. So please enjoy!
Bonus: I want to point out that, in the Act 1 poster, the two brighter stars on the left are for Carole and Goose, and the brighter one on the right is for Iceman
