Bakugo's hands were glistening with sweat, every second he was wiping his palms on his pants in hopes they would dry.

King Explosion Murder God Dynamight doesn't get nervous, not in the face of danger, and especially not when he had to meet a four year old child.

But here he is, standing outside your apartment door, a bouquet of your favorite flowers, some take out for the three of you, and a plushy from his unreleased merch line for your son.

You guys have been dating for four amazing months and finally decided it was the perfect time for him to meet your treasure. Your son's father was out of the picture, even out of the birth certificate, but you and your baby didn't care. You had each other and you loved him to the fullest.

The door rang and before you could answer, you heard your son beat you to it.

Standing tall was the scarred, loud mouth, blonde that your son would see on tv sometimes, and heard when his mom was on the phone.

Starring back at Bakugo was a small boy, only three apples tall with the cutest expression as he opened the door.

"Hello mister!" Said your son, not an once of danger in his head.

"Hey kid, hasn't your mom ever told you not to open the door for strangers?" Asked Bakugo, his hero mind questioning if your son knew about stranger danger.

"Oh yeah...Mom a boy is here!" Your son yelled. Bakugo could hear your hurried footsteps rush down the hall before you came into view. Even when you were relaxed and wearing lounge clothes, he saw you as a picture of perfection.

Your boy rushed off not a moment later, wanting to go back to playing with his toys. You greeted Bakugo with an excited smile as you rushed to hug him. He returned it, adjusting his grip to make sure the flowers didn't get crushed as he held you.

After a couple of seconds you ushered him in, directing him towards the couch as you went off to find a vase for the flowers.

Your son was playing with his action figures, a little model of the city scattered around the floor. Bakugo recognized the hero and villain voice lines as he got closer, a reenactment from the recent hero movie that just got released.

He couldn't even sit on the couch before your son spotted him and dragged him to the floor, shoving the villain toy in his hand.

"You're the villain and I'm the hero, got it!" Said your son, he wasn't shy and if his mom knew this blonde haired man then obviously he's isn't a stranger.

"But what if I want to play as the hero?" Questioned Bakugo, even as pretend he strived to be a hero. "No! I'm gonna be a hero, just like my favorite person in the whole world!" Your son stated, enthusiasm heavy in his tone. "Oh yeah, and who would that be?" Bakugo raised an eyebrow, waiting to hear who this little boy looked up too.

"Obviously the number one hero Deku!" He exclaimed.

The silence was loud.

Bakugo could feel the record scratch that just went off in his head. Trying to save face he asked him, "What about the awesome Dynamight, he's way cooler than Deku." He pressed, pulling his hero plush out from behind him.

Your son looked at the plush, staring at it in silence before he got up and ran to his room. Bakugo was stunned, but not even a second later the pattering of feet could be heard and your son came back. In his hands was the limited edition Deku plushy, "You can keep that one mister, I have my own that my mom got me!" He exclaimed.

Bakugo was to shocked to speak, how could you never tell him your son was a Deku fanboy. He felt like he was just stabbed through the heart and betrayed by his kingdom.

The small child didn't notice Bakugo's change in demeanor and happily continued playing with his toys. While Bakugo was sitting in silence rethinking all his life choices that led up to this moment.

You called both of your boys into the kitchen to eat, your son blasting off once he heard food was ready while your boyfriend slowly trudged after him.

As all of you settled down to eat, your boy started blabbering questions to Bakugo. Nothing was off the table, from his favorite color, to if he loved his mommy. That question had you choking on your food as you tried to hide your flustered expression.

Bakugo surprisingly answered all his questions honestly and with the tone suited for talking to a child, still a little gruff but at least he wasn't shouting. You were happy seeing your boys getting along, even though you knew they would get along you were still nervous.

Caught up in your feelings, you didn't hear your son asking you something. "Mom did you know mister likes heroes too!" He gushed. You couldn't help but smirk hearing that, giving your boyfriend the side eye. "Can I show him my Deku collection? Please mom!" Your son pressed.

"Collection?" Bakugo questioned, his face had a look of confusion as he glanced between you and the boy.

You nodded to your son before he was out of his chair and dragging Bakugo by his finger towards his room. You silently followed them, as you waiting for your boyfriend's reaction to the grand reveal.

Your son's door opened and Bakugo stopped in his tracks and he took in the room.

Everything was Deku themed.

From the bedsheets to the furniture, the decorations on the walls and on his desk, all he saw was Midoriyas face.

The closest door was cracked open and inside he saw a Deku's hero costume as a onesie. The same kind that he and Midoriya wore when they were children.

He looked at you, staring into your eyes with the look of betrayal written on his face. You couldn't help but snicker at his expression. Enjoying his misery as your son showed him around his room and talked about all his decorations in great detail.

Funnily enough Bakugo gave your son more information about Deku that wasn't even public knowledge and told him only a real fan would know that stuff. Your son's eyes twinkled as he hung on to your boyfriends every word, his view of him was of an angel when Bakugo promised to bring him a rare collectors card next time he came over.

The three of you had a great time and Bakugo only left just after your son fell asleep. As you walked him to the door he couldn't help but give you a pointed look. "You set me up." He stated, grabbing you close. "I don't know what you're talking about.?" You feigned ignorance, trying to look as innocent as possible. Bakugo just huffed, shaking his head lightly as he gave you a goodbye kiss.

On his ride in the elevator he whipped out his phone to send a quick text. "You better be at my place with your card collection by the time I get home."

All the way across town was Midoriya staring at his phone confused at the text Bakugo randomly sent him.
