Either Crowley is alive or the Spn writers are more shit than I thought:

Crowley isn’t dead and here’s why.

FIRSTLY - LET ME TACKLE THE SPELL:

“But the spell needed a life”

~1.~ IF this is true, and that’s a big if (I’ll get to that “if” later) WHY WOULD CROWLEY SACRIFICE HIMSELF. Crowley is WAY smarter than that and would find ANY way to complete his plan without it involving his own demise.

Eg: He values demons as pawns and he uses them as such. This scenario would have been no different. Crowley would have gotten any demon and used them for the spell. And don’t try to tell me “Crowley is weaker tho cos he’s cut off from the throne and isn’t really king anymore” because before he was king (and was just a regular demon) he killed an entire nest of demons (5.20 I think) just to spread a rumor. I’m sure capturing any low rank demon would have been easy for him. OR EVEN EASIER, CAPTURING A HUMAN -but anyway, I doubt the Winchesters would have allowed that so he would have just gotten a demon and sacrificed it.

~2.~ Secondly, do you seriously think Crowley would sacrifice himself FOR THE WINCHESTERS OUT OF ALL PEOPLE? LITERALLY OUT OF ALL PEOPLE? THEM??? The same two have repeatedly tried to kill him? No matter how much he’s helped? The same who threatened to kill him in the same fucking episode and stabbed him in the fucking hand? Although there has been this whole weird storyline written for Crowley lowkey having a fondness for them (1 which was only really written in an attempt to get more of the mainstream fandom to like him) (2 which is totally out of character but moving on), he’d never fucking sacrifice himself for them ever, even if it did mean taking out Lucifer. If it’s not a world he’s living in, why would Crowley bother? That’s not his character. Which therefore makes it implausible for him to sacrifice himself for the Winchesters or “the greater good”.

~3.~ Now for the IF part.

“There needed to be a life taken for the spell.” You think Crowley couldn’t just lie about that? He’s lied before and lying isn’t exactly the hardest thing.

“Why would he lie tho wyd?” Crowley said he didn’t want to be king anymore. He was not only sick of people coming for his throne, but just demons in general and the Winchesters trying to kill him/get him killed. He was sick of dealing with all their problems and just getting shit in return. He was sick of it all and didn’t want to deal with anymore trouble. For me of course, to completely wipe yourself off the radar (as has been done by many other characters in different shows), you fake your death. And he fakes death in front of the ones that bother him the most - Lucifer, Castiel and the Winchesters. If they think he’s dead, they won’t come for him and they’ll finally leave him in peace. And it seems logical to me and him because it worked THE PREVIOUS TIME HE FAKED HIS DEATH.

“But Crowley glowed and everything!  You know, Crowley faked his death once, I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to do it again. I mean… he already did this: 

- a lil glow is child’s play in comparison.

“He stabbed himself with an angel blade!” You know you can make replicas right? Fake knives? Yeah I’m sure it wouldn’t be too hard to make a fake angel blade nor would it be that much trouble to stab yourself when you’re technically already dead (in the human sense).

More proof: Is Crowley dead? Nah. When Mary and Lucifer went back, I didn’t see his body anywhere… SooOOOOOOooo.

“But now he’s in an alternate dimension!” BUT he’s alive. Which is more than what I can say for Castiel. The portal opened to the alternate universe, it can be opened again. And, Bobby’s there, so I’m sure Crowley will have that company back that he’s always missed ;)

BUT IF Crowley is really dead, once and for all, then this is just showing HOW FUCKING SHIT the writers are. Because not only is it EXTREMELY OUT OF CHARACTER, but it makes zero fuckin sense.

Guys, you have to go see the new Wonder Woman film! It was absolutely spectacular. I'm a Marvel girl through and through but this was Marvel level quality. There are a few plot holes but it is largely a good film. Like worth the price of a movie ticket plus expensive popcorn and drink level good AKA 'we've got to see this again' level good. Also, can I be Gal Gadot when I grow up? She really rocked the role and made it her own. It's a little different from Linda Carter's take, but just as good. Also, the fight scenes were SOOOOOOOOO cool. You must see it. I want more.

Being BFFs with Crowley Would Include:

Warning: There's a curse in here. It isn't a terrible one though. No worse than what you would hear on the show. - You met him when you were a Hunter and he was still a crossroads demon. - You were going to kill him, but instead you got on really well and just started ranting about everything together. - Next thing you know, you're eating lunch in Hell with him. - Supporting each other, but not always agreeing with each other. - You'd be his advisor. - You'd have your own smaller throne next to his throne in Hell and you'd both quip to each other on every subject that was brought up. - You aren't necessarily a demon or evil. You probably could be considered morally ambiguous though. - This morality of yours makes Hell a slightly less, well, Hellish place. - At first, this led to criticism of Crowley's reign but he quickly shut it down by torturing and then killing all who spoke ill of you and your effect on him. - People, angels, monsters, and demons are so terrified of you. - Partly because you're a badass on your own who can kill them, but also because of Crowley keeping tabs on you. - They won't even touch you because they know you two would come for them. - You convince Crowley to cooperate with the Winchesters more by explaining how it is in his and Hell's interests. - Juliet and his other Hellhounds love you. - He gave you two little Hellhound puppies that you can actually see. - You recognize Crowley deserves to be loved and you do love him. - And you give him so many hugs. This secretly really makes him happy. Although he acts like he's bored for the most part during them. - If you date anyone, you can bet that they have been thoroughly vetted and will never hurt you. - You and Crowley both enjoy drinks with tiny umbrellas and pitchforks in them together. - You enjoy making puns with him about Hell. - He teaches you different languages. Some are dead but that just makes them mean that much more to you. - You're next in line for the throne. - He frequently becomes really upset and you always can calm him down. - Taking pictures of you two acting overly enthusiastic together in ridiculous outfits in different locations. You have so many of those pictures. - Whenever someone pops up to attempt to uproot his position, he makes sure that you're well-guarded as well. - You two are excellent problem-solvers together. - The Winchesters are simultaneously grateful for your friendship and enraged by your friendship. Dream Trip: I should like to go back to the Czech Republic to visit family again, but I really just want to go everywhere I can. Maybe Ireland so I can go on a boxty tour.


Favorite Food: Probably boxty, it’s amazing. It’s the best form of potato pancake hands down. Although recently I’ve been in the mood for a good chicken paprikash.
