This, This, This!

This, this, this!

Sometimes you can’t become your new self because you’re so emotionally attached to your old self. Let your old self go. Seriously, let that person go. If you want to create a new reality, first you have to create a new personality. An empowering personality. A happy, grateful, and fulfilled personality.

Think about the best possible version of yourself and decide to be this person right now. The only thing that keeps you from becoming who you want to be is the fear of embracing the unknown. You can overcome this fear, you can overcome every limiting belief that is holding you back. It’s time to become a new you. It’s time to live a beautiful life. Let go of things that no longer serve you and create the life you deserve.

How to use a sigil wheel.

A tutorial.

I rarely use this method myself, but I know people are always looking for tutorials on different methods of sigil making and not finding any. I’ve had a few different people asking for more graph based sigil making techniques, and this is a fairly well known one that fits that category. I hope this tutorial is coherent and answers questions instead of making things more confusing. If you have any questions, however, never be afraid to ask.

Eggshell Protection Powder for home

(This is the process that works for me, practices and traditions vary)

1: Save old eggshells. In this batch I used approximately 10 eggs. If you choose, use a number of eggs which could be magically or energetically significant. Wash eggshells in hot water and set aside to dry. Some people will take the extra step to peel the inner membrane off in order to get a finer powered, but I didn’t mind if it was chunkier.

2: Bake eggshells for 10 min at 250 degrees. Watch them closely, don’t let them burn! Allow time to cool.

3: To pulverize the shells: A clean coffee/herb grinder will work, but I prefer my pestle and mortar in order to work my intentions in kinetically. -I do a lot of spirit work so I also added protective/purifying herbs including himalayan salt, pepper, red pepper, and angelica root. As I set my intentions during grinding, I left a ‘door’ for the specific spirits which are my primary contacts so as not to inadvertently wall them out.

4: Transfer powder to clean, air tight storage. - Use a small funnel and a reused salt or small herb jar and gently transfer powder. Pour in batches in order not to accidentally over spill. I made more powder then this jar could hold so I ended up transferring to a larger one.

5: Use After smoke and bell cleansing the house, I sprinkled the powder around the perimeter of the property and along all door and windowsills.

There ya have it! Layer your protections with other techniques such as sigils, energy shields, salt rings or protective entities and enjoy an energetically safe home!

🕯✨🌱🌞Imbolc🌞🌱✨🕯

✨Also known as Candlemas or Brigid’s Day✨

🕯Date: February 1st🕯

⛅️- Imbolc is the celebration of the warmer days that are coming, the winter is starting to fade away now and spring is approaching.

⛅️- It’s a good time to start working on the goals you set for this new year, as the world is now starting to wake up and regenerate, so shall we.

⛅️- Cleansing and clearing rituals are amazing to do on Imbolc, shake off the winter blues and welcome the warmer days. It’s also the best time to get rid of anything that is no longer serving you, a fresh start.

⛅️- Some activities to do for Imbolc ✨

Clean, cleanse and change up your altar ✨🕯🔮

A spring clean of house and home 🏠

Cleansing negative energies from yourself and items you use in your craft🔮

Taking a walk and looking for signs of spring, reconnect with nature again 🌿

Cook a meal that contains fresh produce to represent the growth of the earth 🌱

Burn white and yellow candles at your altar 🕯

Make a Brigid’s cross ✨

✨🌱Have a blessed Imbolc everyone🌱✨

Hi All! I’m Finally Back After My Move, And Just In Time For This Week’s New Moon. For This Moon

Hi all! I’m finally back after my move, and just in time for this week’s new moon. For this moon phase, I thought I’d post one of my favorite spreads that I use as a sort of monthly check in with myself. I love this spread in particular because it can be customized however you want. Add cards, take cards away, or use this spread as a jumping off point to creating your own.

As it’s still early on in January, now is the perfect time for a six-month reading! If you’d like a half year reading or if you just want to learn more, feel free to message me here, on my website, or my Instagram.

magick of the moon

new moon: lunar energies encourage new beginnings. this is when you want to initiate new adventures or to ignite dreams. think about doing magical workings for a new job, new home, or anything new you want to bring into your life. the magic done during this time will continue to grow and feed off the energies of the moon as the phases move forward to full. (a great time to pick a topic and study it until the next lunar phase)

waxing moon: energies are fairly similar to the new moon, but with an emphasis on growth. think about doing magical workings in regards to constructing, strengthening, or gaining. this is a wonderful time to attract things into your life that you’ve been seeking. do you want a better relationship? an increase in salary? this is a wonderful time to work towards those goals and to continue pushing for anything you may have started during the new moon.

full moon: think fruition. this is the time where anything you set to seed during the new moon, will come to be. the full moon is arguably the most powerful phase in the lunar cycle. this is the time to work spells for retaining, receiving, or anything you want to bring to a successful culmination. it is a wonderful time for manifesting, or anything that needs a little extra “umph”.

waning moon: this is when the moon begins to ‘wane’ or decrease in size, and the energies emitted reflect that. this is a great time to work with spells regarding banishment, decreasing something, overcoming, and resolving things. if you want to cut ties with a person, decrease a feeling, or work on an emotional toll you’re experiencing, this is the perfect time to do it. this is also a perfect time to work household purification or cleansing rituals, as it’s a great time to drive negative energy away. (but of course cleansing & purification can be done during any point in time.)

dark moon: this is during the period of time between the waning and the new moon; when the moon is no longer present in the sky. some people choose to identify this moment in the lunar phase as the new moon, and really it’s up to each individual person to choose how they would like to interpret it. (remember what works for you, may not work for others.) some witches may choose not to practice at all during this phase- they may use it as a period of reflection, and to create new workings for the new moon. if you do choose to work with the dark moon, do so with respect and with open eyes.

Here is a great plant analogy to help remember the phases:

new moon: plant (set) your intentions to seed.

waxing moon: the seeds will begin to grow.

full moon: what you’ve set to seed has grown (come to fruition).

waning moon: you start to harvest what has grown.

dark moon: take care of your garden by pulling out weeds (take care of yourself during this time) and prepare for the next cycle.

it’s important to note that really, you can do you spell work anytime, regardless of what phase of the moon it is as successful spell work is 100% possible without the aid of the moon. however, it is much more powerful with it.

here’s the video where i got this information from, check it out for more! and i highly recommend her channel, she is amazing (The Green Witch)!
