Too hecking cute!!
Mama Hens are back! Mama hen is a pattern I made all the way back in 2015 for Amigurumi.com's animal's at work themed contest. I decided the pattern needed a bit of updating.
Now, you too can make a mama hen in cotton yarn along with her apron and tiny spatula. Or, if you like, you can purchase one already made on my website (link in bio).
Walking side by side, the back of their fingers brushingâtoo shy to initiate hand-holding.
Teasing the tips of person Bâs hair between their fingers, watching their fingers, unable to meet Bâs gaze.
Subtle acts of service: opening a door for them, covering cornered edges when the other bends down to pick something up, purchasing something of the otherâs interest.
âYou lookâuh, good. You look good.â Stammering, trying to appear confident when complimenting the other. Cue the throat clearing and avoidance of eye-contact.
Hesitant smiles and blushy cheeks.
Person A about to say something before thinking against it and closing their mouth.
Agonising slow-paced romance.
Person B sticking by person Aâs side while theyâre sick and stuck to bed rest, despite Aâs warning of getting them sick too.
Thoughtful picnic dates.
Almost confessions.
âI care about you, and I want the best for you.â
Friends to lovers.
Looking for each other in social settings.
âYou mean more to me than that.â
âCome on, weâre friends.â âAre we really?â
Angsty confessions after built up feelings being hidden.
Everyone can see it but them.
âWeâre just friends!â âWith how B is looking at you now? I donât think youâre just friends.â
Starry night skies, damp grass, and deep talks about life.
B learning about Aâs body insecurities and finding that itâs their favourite part of them.
Love-fuelled kisses under whispering nights.
So deeply in love that it almost makes their friends uncomfortable to witness.
Feathery forehead kisses.
Neither of them raise their voiceâa love so gentle and kind that it makes your teeth rot.
Either one has social anxiety and the other orders for them at cafes and restaurants, or both of them do and one disregards their own anxiety and steps up.
Late nights cuddled up and quiet giggles.
âYouâre everything Iâve ever dreamed of.â
âI want our kids to have your eyes.â
Inside jokes that literally no one understands.
Here is your mission.
hello again (bill clinton limewire voice) my fellow americans
There are a few states that actually have Shield/Refuge laws designed to help trans people fleeing from trans-unsafe states, which also guarantee trans folks access to healthcare. These states are:
California
Colorado
Illinois
Oregon
Vermont
Washington
Minnesota
New Mexico
Maine
Massachusetts
Rhode Island
Connecticut
Washington D.C.
Additionally, some states have "trans sanctuary" executive orders signifying safety for trans folks seeking healthcare. These states are:
Maryland
New Jersey
New York
Living as a resident in these states means you are protected by state's rights and state government to continue or begin receiving trans healthcare. These laws have been codified in their states so everything has been a-ok'd by their state governments.
Stay alive. You got this. I love you.

Happy 2025! Can you believe it's a new year already? New year means new updates so here we go:
First and foremost, I will be pushing the Kofi a little harder this year as it will become my primary source of income. I am thinking of adding monthly membership tiers starting with a dollar for those who want to support but are tight on funds. I'm also considering a $5 tier blind bag option where members can get a mystery baby animal blorbo every month, but I'll need to build up some stock so it might be a little bit before that one arrives. After that, however, as a primarily fiber artist, I'm not sure what else I could offer in higher tiers other than my eternal gratitude so if there's something you think I could offer exclusively to higher tiers, feel free to make suggestions in the comments below!
Secondly, as Kofi will become my primary source of income, that also means that my commission slots will be opening soon! How soon, you ask? Hopefully by February 1st! I'll be opening FOUR small commission slots and don't worry, there WILL be a commission list coming so y'all can see what I have at my disposal. Commissions will start at $30 + shipping for the smaller items, and increase based on the approximate size and estimated time for larger items (like dragons!). The list will be divided by size categories so folks will know ahead of time about how much they'll be paying. As of right now, I will not be taking custom commissions, or commissions outside of my repertoire, while I am figuring out this new system of mine, and how much I can physically and mentally handle being a full-time online maker and crafter.
Final third item, I will be setting up the shop this month to showcase what's currently available to be shipped and what's available to be commissioned so folks have a better view of my repertoire. There will be two separate categories: items ready to ship and items available for commission. The difference being that the items ready to ship have already been made and are sitting on a shelf waiting to find a new home.
That's it for new updates! Oh! Before I forget! As part of pushing the Kofi (and helping me raise the funds for C2E2), we have a cute little tracker that for every donation of a certain amount, a specific image gets colored in. We started that in December, and here's what we have so far!
Anyway, THAT'S it for new updates! Let's start the new year off with smiles, happy thoughts, and ready to kick some ass! Happy 2025!
So how's everyone else prepping for the election? Me: I'm diamond painting the general mood. đ
This mini dumpster fire keychain came in broken so I'll probably keep it for myself, but there will be more!

The Road Goes Ever On embroidered by seejor.
âAfter 100ish hours of work, Iâm so happy to say this beast is done!!
For the most part, I had an idea that I thought would be cool, drew it up, and transferred it to fabric (hereâs the hoop pre-stitching). Prior to this piece, Iâd only done florals â some from patterns I bought online (Namaste Embroidery) and some of my own design â so really I just wanted to see if I could embroider a dragon. I hadnât been embroidering long but was feeling ballsy.
So thatâs the pattern⊠as for color choices: the mountain, clouds, fog, and trees were entirely a product of Iâd bought a bunch of floss I thought was pretty and kind of went together and figured why not give it a try. I love how the mountain came out. The gold for the text was my favorite gold Iâd worked with in a sunflower piece (I have an entire floss organizer of just shades of yellow because of that piece, so the gold pieces pretty much just followed). Smaugâs colors and pose in general were inspired by an illustration of Smaug Tolkien did that Iâve always loved.
Process in general: I kind of made most of it up as I went along. I knew what effect I wanted in various sections and if I couldnât figure out a way to make it look the way I wanted with stitches I knew, Iâd go googling. The pile of gold Smaug is on is all seed stitch (I donât know if itâs technically seed stitch, but thatâs what Iâm calling it) and literally caused me to set this piece down for two years.
- the implement I used to transfer the design was a Sakura Gelly Roll white pen. In a pinch, the gel ink can be removed (like when I edited out the two other mountains)
- I wore a reasonably high powered, rechargeable headlamp for a lot of this project in an attempt to have my stitches be as precise as possible. It ainât pretty, but it worked pretty well!â
