I was wondering why my hand started cramping. I’ve been at this for three hours.
yes, obviously Moci your hands are gonna start to hurt after the 77th turtle you’ve made this day.
these are only the turtles that are drying right now
Current mental state: Tore apart the mushroom hat I've been working on for over three months because I felt insecure 🙃
I made a crystal grid and moon phase tracker tonight. I used A paint your own mandala from dollar general that I painted over black with blue and splatter some blue, purple, and white on it. I used metallic craft marker for the grid lines and moon stickers for the moon, I had to doctor them up a bit to make it work. Now for a clear coat of poly and then all done.
I’ve been doing a lot of things with beads lately, and I wanted to make something for my Hermes altar. So here’s a necklace I made, this one fits over my head too, so it’s actually wearable ʕ •ᴥ•ʔb⋆·₊˚☆
I used tiger’s eye beads, because I asscoiate it with luck and prosperity and Hermes is considered a bringer of good luck and fortune. I also made some of the tiger’s eye beads into the pupils of four eye charms with wire and string.
The eyes are meant to represent Argos, the many-eyed giant that Hermes slew. They also represent an epithet of Hermes I’ve read about that I really like, which is Euskopos (Ευσκοπος), meaning watchful or keen-sighted. (There are also so many other epithets of his that I like a lot, but this one was easier to represent in this project.)
I used some black agate beads too, mostly because I like how they brought some contrast to the whole look. The alternation actually kinda reminds me of the stripes of a bee, a very active and always-moving creature which reminds me of another one of his epithets, Poneomenos (Πονεομενος), which means busy one 。⋆·₊˚ᕕ( ─ v ─)ᕗ
I also incorporated the number four in this necklace as much as I could, since that’s a symbol if his as well. With four eyes in total and four smaller beads in between the bigger ones.
To finish it off and add more of a central point, I made a tassel out of black string, added some beads onto the top string and attatched it at the middle point with two eyes on each side.
I am very pleased with the overall look of this necklace, I’m epsecially happy with how the eyes turned out since they were kinda fiddly to make. I terms of shape and how I built the necklace, I kinda just went with what I felt like and didn’t really base it off of much else. But yeah, I really like how it turned out! <|:^)
Red Thread - protection against enemies, malefica, gossip, evil spirits, afflictions of health. Serves well to overcome enemies, against the evil eye, invite love, luck, joy and auspiciousness.
Blue Thread - protection against evil words, evil eye, healing melancholy, subduing fiery aspects that detriment the person (such as harsh tempers and excessive work), dark blue aids in spirituality and legalities.
Green Thread - in correspondence to my previous posts on the colour green. Darker greens seem to help more strongly with works relating to love and herbal medicine. Mixing it with red thread combines the aspect of Fauna and Flora essentially combining two aspects of the forces of Nature. Aids healers.
Black Thread - good for saturnine spells, wards off malefica, enemies, evil spirits. Bringing good fortune, honours, dominating enemeis and incredibly strong protective spells.
White Thread - protection, blessing, peace, healing. Good in combination to red in spells to remove evil and protect the person against inauspiciousness. Strengthens lunar qualities in the person.
Yellow Thread - I can't help but think of pestillence when I think of Yellow so I would view this as a colour for protection against sickness, bestowing good fortune and healing pestillence. I remember Backwoods Shamanism making reference to the colour yellow being used to petition the spirits related to the sickness to either inflict or leave the person afflicted.
Ya tenéis para entreteneros, a mi se me da bien, o sale por la ventana, según días.
Y’all the witchcraft you could do with this!!!! The deity work!! The protection spells!! 🤩
Easy Blessing Candles Put tea light candles on a stove top (electric works best because it’s a flatter surface than gas stoves) on low heat. Melt the wax and then dash with herbs of choice. Then let them sit at room temperature to harden.
I made big turtle, love himmmm
This actually wasn't meant to be jumbo, but I used thick yarn. God knows how big he would have been if I had of some the jumbo pattern
So anyway. I made an Instagram page, where I'll post cute little photos of a little kitten in little clothes, that I'll sew for them. If you like that kind of stuff, feel free to follow me there.

FINALLY FINISHED THE COVER RAAAAAHH‼‼ (oh my fucking god this took so long, I couldn't find ANY good glue in this damn house... and sorry for the crappy image 😒💢) WRITING THE FIRST FEW JOURNAL ENTRIES RIGHT NOW
IF ANY OF YOU WERE WONDERING, YES, I AM STILL WRITING IN THAT JOURNAL I MADE. I'VE JUST BEEN SUPER BUSY. GIMME SOME TIME‼‼
Update on my rant from earlier: I've commissioned someone to make a Ford figurine for the low price of 6 dollars.
This is the greatest year of my entire life.
UPDATE: The front cover is already finished and I've written two pages so far, I'm adding a little twist to this journal though! ;)
It'll have pages with the entities of Journal 3 we know and love, yes, but it'll also be a personal journal for myself where I talk about my own experiences. Currently thinking about what creature from Journal 3 I should write for first, would love to hear all of your suggestions! Ad astra per aspera (I think I spelt that right...) and stay weird! 👁⏳
chat I've been making my own journal out of nowhere after listening to the Gravity Falls theme on loop for 3-4 hours, how screwed am I
TOXIC!! continued with their fursuit head every now and then and making progress :3 they look just as rough as ever but idm, its the first head i am making EVER and i actually think considering this they look kinda awesome :DD also made them a new ref sheet i will post later today!
working on their head also made me realise sm things about their design like.. i had to fix one or two things that didnt make sense in a 3d environment lol i am also figuring out their species a lot more while working on this!
repainted these earrings for my gf!
ive barely done anything like this before but i like how they look :DD the photos are kinda shit thoo lmao sorryyyy
I haven't posted in a hot minute but I wanted to kinda show off my babies like a proud momma does
Meet Tako and Lucille
I made Lucille first. She was my first attempt at the octo pattern(which isn't my pattern). I was very limited in yarn and didn't know what the hell to do with her mouth.
Tako(my friend gave me this name lol) came a few days later when my mom surprised me with more yarn. I gave up on the mouth by then lmao but I gave her closed eyes and some blush to add a bit more detail!
Now... I ahve to draw people- 😭😭 /hj, I'm happy to draw more humans!! (/ Humanoids, ykwim)
And yes, I Did use window clings and glue them down-
So I have been adopted into a knitting circle I have never met?? I started knitting a few weeks ago (on my fifth sock now! Socks are fun.) and one of my friends told their mother about it. Their mother knits. Like a lot. And she also hoards, again, a lot. So, two weeks ago, my friend gave me a care package with a project bag, stitch markers and a pair of small ducks to stick on the needles so I don't lose any stitches.
Needlessly said, I was absolutely overjoyed. I made sure my friend would tell their mother how happy I was about this (I mean look at those ducks. LOOK AT THEM), ran around screaming in a circle for about half an hour and expected the whole thing to be over.
I was wrong.
One more important thing: I have met this woman once, and so briefly that I don't remember what she looks like. I have no clue if she remembers what I look like. I don't even remember her name. Anyway, I guess my friend mentioned I was complaining about wool being expensive because I am broke as hell and that does not pair well with hyper fixating on an expensive new hobby. Now their mother listened to that, went to her knitting circle, and discussed me. With all these other old ladies. And they decided to go through their dragon hoards of yarn to decide what they needed and what not, and pooled together to gift it to me.
Whom they have never met before. Because they thought it would make me happy. AND I AM HAPPY. VERY HAPPY. (The only issue is that my friend refuses to give it to me until Tuesday afternoon so I actually study for my biology test which I guess is fair but also uuuggggghhhhhhhhh.)
More importantly, I am just so completely overwhelmed at the thought of these people hearing about me through a silent post game led by my incredibly cagey friend and just deciding to help. They have no clue who I am. They just thought it would make me happy. Holy shit. I need a moment. I am in awe.
My next sewing project is to try and make something similar to this, using the template I found on google images 😂 wish me luck 😭
Starting it next Monday with some embroidery! ❤️
I have made the outline and done a plan but it could all go wrong so join me on this adventure ✨
