Hello hello, Gravity Falls enthusiasts, you'll never believe what today is! (and no, it's not Book of Bill day yet)
It's the special day of Yours Truly, who is currently enjoying a *very* tasty Birthday Breakfast of chocolate chip waffles and Captain Crunch cereal, with my Stanford plushie :P
"Why are you eating something so unhealthy?", you ask? BECAUSE LIFE'S TOO SHORT TO OVERTHINK OVER YOUR BREAKFAST CHOICES! The USA is already going through a recession and a potential boring dystopian era, I can do whatever the hell I want 💅

Tomorrow's my birthday, let's pray that nothing strange or weird happens... oh boy I'm scared. Seriously what was the thing that gave me such INTENSE bad luck lately, was it Journal 3? Writing my own journal? Wanting to get Book of Bill? All of the above??
It's REALLY confusing me, maybe even scaring me a little bit, but I think I can push through! Happy early birthday to me! XP

UPDATE: I think Bill is after me. Had the worst nightmare after MONTHS of dreamless rest. Gonna read Journal 3 for some help, wish me luck fellow Gravity Falls fans. Ad astra per aspera! -M
UPDATE: The front cover is already finished and I've written two pages so far, I'm adding a little twist to this journal though! ;)
It'll have pages with the entities of Journal 3 we know and love, yes, but it'll also be a personal journal for myself where I talk about my own experiences. Currently thinking about what creature from Journal 3 I should write for first, would love to hear all of your suggestions! Ad astra per aspera (I think I spelt that right...) and stay weird! 👁⏳

I appreciate Gravity Falls immensely - for many reasons, but particularly for the way it approaches weirdness. While Gravity Falls’ anomalies are often dangerous for the characters, the show and narrative still depict them as something to be observed and understood, not as manifestations of evil needing to be destroyed. Even the most vicious of the supernatural beings, Bill Cipher, is made a villain by the actions he’s taken - not by simply being different. In fact, Bill’s weird behavior is often played for fun by Bill himself, and he’s even shown as charismatic at times. When Ford enters in the second season, the message is made clearer yet. He may not always have been accepted by others, but Ford’s uniqueness, curiosity, and unabashed individuality are admirable traits. Out-of-the-box thinking, by the Mystery Shack rebels and ultimately by Stan and Ford, ends up being what saves the world. Gravity Falls celebrates weirdness from beginning to end, summed up by some of the last words of Journal 3 -
“Stay curious, stay weird, stay kind, and don’t ever let anyone tell you you aren’t smart or brave or worthy enough.”
12 years ago today, Disney Channel aired episode one of a brand new cartoon about two twins spending the summer with their great uncle in a little Oregon town. Little did anyone know what an incredible and long lasting dynasty would follow!
Think about it…Gravity Falls is officially as old as Dipper and Mabel were when they first arrived in the town. The world has come a long way since that day in June 2012…but yet, Gravity Falls remains as popular as ever! And I hope it still is for years to come!
