it would be SO funny if they didn't know. an ordeal ends and there's blood splattered all over the hallway and as soon as everyone else walks out of the room they black out and wake up 2 hours later having mlemed up all of it. and then someone else walks back in and they're like dude how the hell did you clean so fast. and the scoundrel's like well obviously im Just That Good (they have no fucking idea)

So he just studies or read whatever is there, he tries a bunch of other stuff too

He mostly does this to be able to go on missions and help but he wont straight out admit that.

I absolutely love how your fic was written, hes so menacing, the was hes portrayed, how solar's fear was formed and how uneasy he was because of Retakka suddenly being reassuring

Knowing retakka is only doing that because his tool being damaged or damaging themself is crucial to him having power as that is the very thing giving him power in the first place
