Her life will be to bend to his beck and call– all the while, ready to slit his throat in his sleep in order to get her father back. Instead, she finds a man hidden behind the face of a kitsune. A man who doesn’t have a name, even if his brother calls him Soul. Both Maka and Soul wear masks, but neither can hold onto their secrets forever. AU with a Feudal Japan feel.
