Everyone else talked about outdoor cats, it's time for me to talk about offleash dogs
I for one think the symbiotic relationship between Tumblr and AO3 is beautiful
NEW TUMBLR UPDATE:
You can only like 4 posts a day and if you even think of reblogging we're going to blow your brains out
It's still so strange to me how apparently taboo it is to like a post on someone's Instagram from a month ago when there are posts still circulating on Tumblr from 1550 BCE
nosferatu? no. tuferatu. no es mi problema.
2,121,566 people are not Ashley and counting!
We’ll find you Ashley.
If Staff ever implements the editing method from Mastodon, we'd be fucked.
Currently, on Tumblr, if you edit a post, all the former reblogs stay exactly the same.
On Mastodon, editing a post changes all the boosts and simply notifies the people who interacted with the post prior to the edit.
Now, can you imagine that on Tumblr?
Surely giving the OP the ability to edit their post after hundreds of thousands of people have reblogged it would be a perfectly balanced feature that I'm sure the Tumblr' userbase has never abused before.
just saw someone post “it’s common knowledge ur not supposed to spam reblog from someone ur not mutuals with” …..?????????? am i confused??? IS that common knowledge???? i try not to spam if i can help it but i actually personally love seeing spam notifs lmao??? unless i dont know what spam reblog means
As entertaining as the Reddit shenanigans are, I'm genuinely worried about permanently losing access to all of those old posts about very specific tech problems that it seems only Redditors know the answers to. When I Google how to fix some error on my device or a glitch in a video game, the most helpful information comes from a Reddit post from 5 years ago with like 12 upvotes. I don't want to have to rely on, like, Quora for that help from now on.
