“There is someone I think you should meet,” says Alice excitedly, leading you away from the new married couple.  

You have known Alice and Jasper for quite a few years now but never had the chance to meet everyone in their coven. It seems that a wedding was the perfect opportunity. 

Walking towards a group of men, she calls out,” Carlisle!” And a tall man with blonde hair turns to face you. “This is Y/N! The friend I’ve be telling you about,” she tells him, smiling widely. Your eyes meet his and it is as if the world has stopped spinning. All you can see is him and all he can see is you.

He smiles at you, “ It is a pleasure to finally meet you. I’ve heard great things.” He takes your hand and places a gentle kiss on the top, all without breaking eye contact with you. 

If you could blush, your cheeks would have been the brightest shade of pink. You smile at him and say, “ If they are all great things, then they are all a lie. Would you like to know the truth?” 

He holds out his arm and says, “ I would love to. A walk perhaps?”

You interlock your arm with his and smile, “Lead the way.”

*Liam and Brett turn around quickly*

Brett: Babe, what are you doing here?

Y/N: *walks closer to them* I’ve noticed you two have been hanging around a lot. Which is odd since you two hate each other. So I followed you.

Liam: *shakes his head* We don’t hate each other, well not anymore.

Y/N: *chuckles* Really? Because if I remember correctly during the scrimmage, you were just about ready to kill each other. *turns to Liam* Is that why you brought Brett here, in the middle of the woods, to kill him?

Liam: *shocked* What? No, no! I-I don’t want to kill him. I just needed help to find a hole I fell in the other day.

Brett: *turns to Liam* Sounds a lot like you want to kill me and bury me in the woods.

Y/N: *nods* It really does.

Liam: *frustrated* No! I don’t want to kill anyone, okay! Will you two just help me look for this hole... *starts walks away and mumbles* No wonder they’re together, they’re both crazy.

Grant: *sighs and looks down at you* I didn’t pretend to care, okay. I mean, at first I did but then you all grew on me. *slightly smiles down at you* Especially you.

You: *scoffs* You really think I’m going to believe anything you say right now! You betrayed our trust! You betrayed me! I can’t believe I actually thought you cared. * tries to turn away from him*

Grant: *turns your face to him* Hey! Everything I said to you was true. When I told you how I felt about you, it was all true. I never lied about that. *Slowly loosens his grip on your shoulders* Which is why I want you to come with me.

You: *frowns* What?

Grant: *helps you sit up* I want you to come with me. Leave S.H.I.E.L.D. and come with me. Once I finish helping Garrett we can leave. We’ll start of fresh in another country. *holds onto your hands* Come on, baby. We can be happy, just the two of us.

You: * looks him in the eyes and smiles slightly* Yeah, *nods* yeah I’ll go with you.

* ‘Can’t believe Coulson’s plan actually worked,’ you think as you leave with Grant. *

Cisco Ramon watched as Barry tried to have a conversation with you. And he really means tried. He would mix up his words when trying to say something, would stare at you almost creepily when you were talking or laughed way to loudly even when something wasn’t that funny.

He watched as you said you had to go. You and Iris were meeting up for lunch and you didn’t want to be late. He rolled his eyes as Barry offered to take you, almost eagerly, to which you politely declined and said that someone will most likely need the Flash soon. Cisco shouted out a good bye as you left.

Cisco then turned to Barry and watched as he still looked at the cortex doorway even when you were out of sight. Barry looked away and his goofy smile fell when he realized Cisco was watching him. “I know, I know”, Barry said, sighing.

“Dude, when are you going to tell her?”, Cisco says exasperatedly. It wasn’t that Cisco didn’t like you, in fact you were like a sister to him. He was just getting tired of seeing Barry making wistful eyes at you all the time. “We’ve talked about this! Just tell her you’re in love with her!” 

Barry shakes his head and runs a hand over his hair, “ Trust me, I’ve tried. But every time when i’m ready to tell her, we get interrupted. And if it’s not that, then it’s me.” He stares off into nothing and an enamored smile slowly creeps onto his face, “ She makes me nervous. She’s just... so amazing. When I look at her, I forget everything and everyone around us.”

Cisco purses his lips and pats Barry in the back, almost sympathetically. “You’ve got it real bad dude”, he says, then smiling, “ It’s a good thing you have me as your best friend. I am going to help you, but only because I am tired of seeing you following her around like a puppy and because I totally ship you two.”

“ I’m sorry, you’re WHAT?!?!”, yelled out a shocked Stiles. You weren’t at all surprised he would react this way. That is why you told everyone else before him. They all seemed to be supportive, even Malia. All she said was ‘as long as that creep stops following me around, I’m fine with it’. She says the oddest things.

You rolled your eyes at Stiles and sighed, “I’m dating Theo.” He seemed to be taken aback by your blunt response and started flailing his arms around like a lunatic.

“ Wh- Why? Why?! Theo?! Seriously?! Out of all the hormonal teenage boys in Beacon Hills, you chose to date him?!” he staggered back with his hand to his heart and leaned on the Jeep. “ Oh my god, it’s finally happened! Oh my god, I can’t believe this,” he said and suddenly sprung away from the car and placed his hands on each side of my face. Looking deeply into your eyes he says, “ Is he controlling your mind?! Oh my god, he is isn’t he? He is making you say these horrifying words! I can’t believe this. Y/N, come back! Listen to my voice! Follow my voice!”

You pushed him away and growled out, “ Stop it Stiles! He isn’t controlling me, okay! I like him, he likes me! That’s why I’m dating him!” He stood there with his mouth gaping open like he couldn’t believe what I was saying. This was a whole new thing coming from him.

Seriously , mind control? As if.

Working at The Hub, there’s something odd happening each week. Whether it’s some thirteen year old boy from Queens trying to hack into the S.H.I.E.L.D. database or aliens falling from the skies, there’s always something going on that needs multiple agents to drop what their doing and put a stop to it. However, you are never one of them. 

You’re job is to oversee agents on their potentially dangerous missions and calmly stay on comms as they get the job done. Which is exactly what you were doing not even 5 minutes ago until you were hastily pulled out by your SO due to S.H.I.E.L.D Team 616 needing you. Your SO pulls you towards another set of comms across the room while he quickly debriefs you on the current mission status. 

Agent Grant Ward was in the middle of an operation when something triggered a panic attack that no one on his team can seem to stop. Agent Garrett, who was Ward’s training officer and mentor, was radio silent and Agent Coulson can’t seem to get through to Ward. All Grant could keep saying is “Where’s Y/N? Where’s Y/N?”

You’re in disbelief at first as you know exactly who and how Grant Ward is. “Ward? That one never panics. Are you sure you have the correct agent?” Turns out, the panic attack was due to remembering a mission that went south. He had you on the comms then, and hearing each other's voices kept you both going no matter how scarring the event was. Once your SO confirms that the agent is in fact Ward, you quickly take over the comms and call out to him. “Ward? Hey, Ward can you hear me?”

Shallow breathing is heard through the comms when you hear softly, “ Y/N? Y/N? Is that you?”

Smiling slightly to yourself, you respond, “It’s me, Ward. I need you to take some deep breaths for me, okay. Just listen to my voice and breathe. I’m here, Ward.”

Other communication agents have briefly stopped what they were doing to listen in but you paid them no mind as all your attention was on Ward and Ward alone. You could hear as he started to shakily take those deep breaths you had asked of him and faintly heard as he talked through the comm, “Stay with me?”

Sighing to yourself in slight relief, you get yourself comfortable on your seat as you smile, “Even if it will take all night.”
