Yu-Gi-Oh about to catch an STD with how it keeps bouncing from streaming service to streaming service.
Hc that Geto used to have short chin length hair but after letting it grow out for a bit Gojo was like "You know long hair suits you! :)" and Geto never got another haircut after that.
Wasn't expecting a shitpost to need further discussion but aight
I can recognize that Viv has an aesthetic and artistic vision she wants to stick to and still be critical.
My main issue with Satan's design is that it's boring. The only thing that makes him stick out as a significant character are the markings on his body without it he'd honestly look like a background character to me.
I'm not saying he NEEDS to look exactly like the red dragon of revelation but if he had something like a crown, multiple faces, or even just visual references to the number seven it'd read more as specifically Satan instead of just some red dragon that happens to live in hell.
I feel that alot of Hellaverse (though mostly hellava boss) has no particular reason to be set in hell aside from aesthetics and when those aesthetics are primarily taken from an established religion you're inviting comparisons to other religious inspired media which, in my opinion, utilize the imagery found in Christianity more effectively.
Admittedly this post is a bit more mean spirited than I perhaps intended and I acknowledge that but I stand by the sentiment that the design is mediocre in my opinion.
Woah bro it's like the red dragon from Bible dude. It's like that thing from the Bible. You know, the bible. Ignore that the red dragon is supposed to have seven heads, seven crowns and ten horns and also that it's supposed to be a sign of the apocalypse in Revelation. It's some kid's dragon OC in a Yu-Gi-Oh outfit now.
It's a Bible thing. We're so smart and good at character design mhm.
I genuinely think it's interesting that curses are born when there is nothing but negativity and turmoil and the thing that makes curses like Kenjaku and Sukuna falter is witnessing moments of both great sadness and pure affection.
Gojo knowing and calling out that Kenjaku could never be Geto despite every single ounce of logic in him stating otherwise because HE knew Geto. He loved him, adored him, admired him and grieved for him when he was gone.
Yuji reaching out desperately to the person he's come to care so much for and reflecting on how much his life would be missing if Megumi just wasn't in it anymore.
Wether you ship it or not it's genuinely such a touching look at how the people that can bring so much joy to life can also bring such a great sadness to it once they're gone.
Hey king it's so awesome and cool that your two boyos have such a deep, intimate, and beautiful relationship steeped in symbolism and nuance but could you like make them kiss at least once maybe? đđ˝đđ˝ đĽş
"We don't need this WOKE shit we just need more complex female characters in media!" - A dude who can't even handle when a female character is kind of mean.
JJK all the way but the fact that Hell's Paradise is second to last rn hurts me a little đ
I need everyone on tumblr to listen to me⌠choose the one that had the best and biggest impact on you, not only by the characters but by the story as wellâŚ
Have to see it for myself what people think, really.
AZ literally looks like a wet dog someone dressed in a suit and I love him sm for that
i wish people would stop trying to convince trans men that they shouldnât transition (medically).
âdonât go on T, youâll go baldâ
âdonât go on T, youâll be aggressiveâ
âif you do go on T, get mood stabilizers because youâre gonna be really angry and destructiveâ
âdonât get bottom surgery, the recovery hurtsâ
âdonât go on T, i wonât feel safe around you anymoreâ
âdonât get top surgery the scars are uglyâ
âwhy would you want to be a man? men suckâ
so on and so forth. those are all things that i and other trans men i know have been told. and its gross!!
stop saying that. stop telling trans men to not transition. stop telling trans men that theyâre gonna be ugly, undesirable, a âtraitorâ, unsafe to be around, etc. itâs transphobic.
masculinity is a wonderful, beautiful thing. let trans men be masculine. let them be strong, take up space, loud about their identity, proud about their transition. itâs not a moral failing to be masculine. trans men arenât betraying the queer community by transitioning.
it is not trans menâs job to make themselves digestible and feminine for your comfort. there are men in the queer community. there are straight men in the queer community. there are masculine, tall, buff, bearded men in the queer community. and you might not know that theyâre queer at first glance. but theyâre queer nonetheless and you should be normal about that. that should not weird you out or make you feel betrayed.
trans men should transition if they want to. they should go on T, get surgeries, grow facial hair, talk about their transition and how happy they are to be a man without people telling them that theyâre bad or evil for it, go to the gym and get muscle-y, be stealth if they want to, and so much more.
trans men are not misogynistic for transitioning, theyâre not betraying the queer community or women, and their existence shouldnât make you feel threatened.
mwah i love masculine trans men so much ⥠never ever feel guilty for being a man
