And seeing them together is leading to a whole rush of new feelings towards the second person in that relationship that he’s not willing to look at too closely because that will just complicate things further which is the last thing he needs so instead he just directs all his irritation at kai until literally everyone is pissed off at him. And then Cole is with Kai and happy about that but also feeling a bit guilty because he’s been aware of his crush on zane for ages and even if he’s with Kai now and likes Kai a lot that crush hasn’t exactly… gone away even though it’s clear by now that he’s never going to reciprocate and does that make him a bad boyfriend?
