lmao in korea the paps work for the gov literally. Its all planned out. I heard they have a file drawer on what scandals would best garner public reactions.
Dispatch makes me sick. What they do is a invasion privacy. I honestly hope to God that whoever’s relationship is revealed gets love and support from everyone because fans can be very possessive.
That's the thing is that dispatch also approaches the companies before releasing anything like this on idols and ask for money to keep it quiet - so it's never a "shock" to them but it's still disgusting nonetheless. The way paparazzi are is just nasty any way
I can't wait for everyone to get to a point where they realize this and all the other times the members hit one another wasn't okay. No matter who did it. Nobody should put their hands and try to hurt their coworker in public, it's not cute. All the members have hit or pushed or kicked one another in some type of way. Honestly I found it weird cause it's very rare to have that happen so many times with such a controlled group which tells me this was normal. It's really sad cause many were very young, some hardly knew one another and it's just really suspicious. They all got used to disrespecting and being disrespected physically and it wasn't okay. Because S.m was the management I still blame them because it's their job to control that type of thing. It's obvious s.m let them do whatever, I suppose if they just start fighting oh well. They didn't care about these boys and in turn they took their frustration out on one another, but still had to makeup because they had no choice. They had to punish the others who misbehaved in public cause the managers weren't allowed to do so. It's very sick and I pray they get healing for all the trauma they went through.

I recently read a popular post on Nate Pann, about a post-SM trainee, and she explains to us the things behind the doors of SM. And it was really interesting and some what scary, so I’ve decided to translate a few of the main things.
“Hi, I was a SM trainee until last week, and was in the pre-debut class. In the pre-debut teams, I was put in the 6 member-ed one. Amongst us was a pretty girl, who lacked talent but seemed to have past auditions through her physical appearances. One day, we were training, until late at night, when we were asked to go to the SM rumor management office (there’s a separate office in SM that deals with rumors that are viral on webs), and we heard that a visit there are extremely harsh, thus we were all very scared. When we got there, one of the office lady just slapped the pretty/youngest member across the face. She was holding a piece of paper, and asked the pretty girl if these rumors were true. The girl admitted to the rumors and she was hit again. She was then told to not return to SM again……apparently the rumors were about her previous reckless acts that were posted online.
It goes the same for EXO baekhyun, there were previous posts that were going viral in south Korea because he had filmed a footage in his early days and involving a packet of smoke. He was hit a lot, and all he did was just apologize, and they couldn’t kick him out because he had already debuted. Then there’s one about sehun and wa$$up, he was told off not to share any sign of interest to other girl group idols. Lastly, chanyeol was in trouble for this scandal with f(x) member Sulli, it’s widely known that SM workers don’t often tell Sulli off, cause she has an extreme temper.
Anyways, my point is, what you put up online can greatly impact these trainees/idols. Thus if you aren’t sure of anything, please don’t post them. They’ll just create rumors and there are people who get it a lot of trouble for that.”

apparently they had black stylists, I may not have been completely right about the album theme but I was close enough.
close enough is good
I kinda felt bad for going on a unhinged rant about the awful s.m entertainment stylists and how they should be barred from doing anyone's hair. Also what I said about their untrained untalented stylists and that baddies and bad girls club had better hairstylists than them. I hate being rude, but if it made them reconsider to be clear I honestly don't care. Man I hope that man never is able to touch anyone's scalp ever again. I actually have a collection of the various scalp burns I've seen on about half a dozen kpop idols. I was this close with filing a report but I don't even know how that would work. But honestly I will say this, social media is observed by teams of people constantly to see how people are feeling about certain things. Apparently they do observe and see what people are loving and hating. I never wanted to spread negativity to those unqualified people and some of my tweets went a little to far and for that I am sorry. But at the same time there are hundreds of very good qualified stylists who take EXTREMELY good care of people edges, scalps and hair. Why not hire them. Especially if it's affordable. No one should have bald spots or scalp burns due to someone's lack of know how.
I've even seen him have bleach almost on people's ears, that can lead to burns. I'm sorry but if my family taught me anything sometimes you HAVE to open your mouth and say something when something wrong is happening. You have to, wrong is wrong even if the person is well beloved and famous. Even if the particular stylists wasn't working on his hair at least they are trying to find qualified people it's a start.
How long have you been on Tumblr? Any fandom not just Exo. About seven year-ish on and off
What is your take on fan created works on Tumblr and interacting with them? To be honest a lot of it is lacking or very agenda based. I don't critique because people on tumblr are over-emotional about their art. You can say you like it but if you don't 'love it' they say why even comment, so I don't.
Do you have a process for what goes on your blog? How do you find most of the posts you reblog? Through the dash? Through the tags? I don't have a process I just like stuff, art and words that is positive uplifting and not inappropriate. I don't ship so that leaves a lot of fandom stuff off limits. I don't like sexualizing people on my blog or in general, whether they are celebs or not. People on here and social media lowkey do too much with that. So I just don't reblog, or support most of it. Over time it's also hard to get people to understand the difference between fandom stories and believing 'ships' are real.
Do you spend time on other platforms? Have you in the past?Twitter and other forums, vine back in the day. Youtube was a big one but now there are too many people just saying what they think fans want to hear. Not much authenticity.
How do you interact with fan creations on these other platforms? Do you like comment or share? Do you re-tweet? Etc. I may comment if the people don't seem hostile. K fandoms act like they have no sense. If you don't love something or if you God forbid try to critique or discuss something, you may accidentally start a war. So I might like something, but I try not to engage too much.
When was the last fic of any length (drabble and blurbs and headcanons/reactions included) you read? Last time you saw fanart (including edits and moodboards and graphics) you enjoyed? The last fic I read was a hyperionova one called fatal miscalculations. It's pretty old and one of the rare ones I may reread from time to time. I almost never see fanart or fan creations I like, but to be fair I don't look for them. Maybe the cute little cartoons on twitter that spread around.
Did you reblog it? No. I do not want much fandom stuff on any of my profiles. Years ago I wouldn't mind it, but now I like a balance, with kpop being barely on my page. Because then people expect you to have certain opinions or lack therefore of. I don't like that. People might see certain fandom material on your blog and talk to you a certain way, kpop fans are extremely disrespectful in general. And it's a hive mind mentality. I don't want to attract that.
If you didn't leave commentary was there a reason? Do you feel like you start to repeat yourself when commenting? Do you think there's nothing to say? Were you following the adage if you cant say something nice dont say anything at all? Other reasons? I don't comment because it's like you can only give a specific rehearsed answer therefore I don't see a point. In the past it was possible to interact online with others and have fun individual conversations. Now people are hostile. If you don't say exactly what they want to hear, they will be mean or insult you, or say why even comment. So I avoid this by not commenting at all.
If no you did not reblog why? Is there a specific reason? Did you not like it and not want to say? Does it not fit your blog? Was it not a length or level of skill you felt warranted a reblog? Have your friends already seen it? Do you only post your own creations? Other reasons? I don't reblog, firstly because a lot of the art that I see isn't my style. I appreciate it and I like it, but it's not something I'd commission for. I do reblog things that fit my style, but most fandom stuff does not.
I'm genuinely curious as to the answers, so if you see this could you please do me the favour of signal boosting this so it reaches more people?
I see posts circulating now and again about lack of interaction on fandom creation posts. No one reblogs. No one comments. But I never see anyone asking why. Is it simply a matter of being in the middle of an etiquette shift? Is it crossplanted members of social media communities having different social norms? Has the way people use Tumblr shifted? Speculation only goes so far so to better understand what I'd like to know is the following:

If yes you did reblog did you say anything about it? Simple or otherwise? Leave a gif underneath that expressed how you felt? Put a comment in the tags? Left an emoji? Etc.

For our fan creators I have an extra question. Do you reply to your comments? Even if they're in the tags?
If no is there a reason?
Please take a moment and share your answers cause I'm trying to understand where things shifted from what they were before to now.

kai using justin bieber’s song to express his feelings
are some of the most caring empathetic beings on the planet huge hearts, the older I get seeing how bw are demonized and objectified in the media is sickening behind every video vixen is generational trauma, abuse, trying to breal generational poverty its so sad this heirarchy of black women where its our own sisters in the comment section demeaning these women right along side predatory men and other races of women. Idc how problematic black women are you just don't do that. Black republicans ignore history and colonization and the fact thay the slave trade both western african and eastern sold and abused black women on a very high level. Epigenetic trauma is real, all the focus should be on black women supporting each other and helping each other heal. Siding with white conservative media or even the current social media view of black women is not helpful. We don't need hate we need biology, psychology, amd history classes in school centered around black women. Educating and treating young people class and social standing aside there really needs to be black female private schools, therapy centers health food stores gyms. Like this should be the focus reading so many books centered om a completely eurocentric standard, seeing how other countries around the world have their own medical schools and everything. Like that should be the focus. African americans have such a stronghold on pop culture but nothing to show for it, I desperately want better for us.
