(2015) OC: Torine, redemption paladin
Me: (gets in bed at a very reasonable 9:30 pm) I really gotta get more sleep tonight so I have energy to work on creative things tomorrow.
My brain: Did you mean "lie awake and rapidly generate more art and story ideas?"
Me: No--
My brain: BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR
Sketches that I’ll never finish ‘cause, well, I got what I wanted out of them / got the concept out of my head enough to be okay leaving them messy or sparse. :3c
Outcodes: The Goddess & The Revenant
The Goddess Yu Wa is an Outcode variant of Snyk inspired by the Chinese folk goddess Nu Wa, creator and protector of humanity. Yu Wa guards my corner of the multiverse as the embodiment of my creative will: what I want for my own story world is what will be. In the legend of Nu Wa, the goddess uses five colored stones to patch a hole in the heavens causing a great flood. Since Undertale has 7 colors associated with a major part of its world (the human SOULs), I decided to give her 7 stones that help her patch parts (and people) of the multiverse that have broken. Generally, Yu Wa is friendly but detached, a serene being with a time-and-space spanning perspective.
The Revenant is the opposite of serene. Having been murdered by the Bad Sanses across time and space in different timelines or AUs, the bits of code that recorded Snyk's deaths coalesced together from her strong sense of JUSTICE and her ability to use KARMA and created the Revenant. The Revenant isn't a fully sentient being. Her singular drive is to hunt down and eliminate Bad Sanses in the multiverse. She can't be reasoned with or convinced to show any mercy, even by living variants of Snyk. While she won't kill anyone besides Bad Sanses, she will forcefully move others out of her way if they try to stop her. She rarely speaks other than to pronounce her judgment when facing a Bad Sans.
Masamune: Hello, kitten~
MC: Hello, sweetbun.
Masamune: Sweetbun–?
MC: Yes, it’s my cute new nickname for you.
Masamune: What? Why? I’m not little and sweet. That doesn’t sound cool.
MC: Funny, I don’t remember my nickname being up for review.
Masamune: You don’t like kitten?
MC: (smiling) Well… it’s grown on me.
Masamune: So it’s settled. Choose something else for me.
MC: Okay, fine. How about… dumpling?
Masamune: No! That’s equally not cool!
MC: Riceball.
Masamune: No! Choose something that isn’t food!
MC: I’m sorry, it’s just… (flirtatious pause) …I can’t stop thinking about how good you taste.
Masamune: (sweeping MC into arms) Alright, then. That room better be unoccupied or we’re kicking them out.
MC: (laughing) Okay, mochi.
Masamune: You’re in real trouble now, lass. You won’t even be able to form words when I’m done with you.
So here's some information about sneople (Snyk's monster type) and sniddies.
Snyk’s monster type can actually control how much of their body is covered in scales at any given time, and while they're in “full-scale,” or "scales on," sex characteristics are also hidden or minimized. For those with prominent breasts, they’re reduced to a slight curvyness in the chest. Nipples and genitalia simply seem to vanish.
When they go no scales or only half—with upper body having exposed skin—sex characteristics become visible or more prominent. The absence of scales also means you can see the full saturation of her kind's skin colors. Their scales are nearly transparent, but thick enough that they dilute the skin color beneath.
(Technically, no scales is an incorrect term—they always keep the scales on their underbelly that allow them traction to move. But it’s close enough.)
Her kind often wear full scales in public, then half or no scales at home or around very close friends and family (plus however much clothing they're comfortable in). Snyk has hers up whenever people are around, until monsters leave the Underground in a True Pacifist route, when she's no longer keeping an emotional barrier between herself and others. At home by herself, she prefers to have no scales.
The "scales off" version of the image above is under the cut. Warning: you will see the sniddies!!!
Reika is a 28-year-old, fourth-generation Japanese American who grew up in a predominantly white town. Reconnecting with her Japanese roots and finding a sense of home has been a lifelong journey, the most recent step of which was moving to Japan for her work as an educational psychologist.
Unfortunately, she didn’t have much time to adjust to her new cultural surroundings before a misadventure – involving a calico cat in traffic, a grad student at a historical monument, and a storm – flung her 500 years into the past.
It’s not a happy arrival, and it takes some time for Reika to warm up to her captors in Azuchi. However, in general, Reika comes across as friendly and easy-going, quick to smile and thoughtful in conversation. While she’s happy to play the role of a humble and somewhat eccentric scholar, at her core is an iron sense of ethics that can propel her into conflict.
Reika is intent on returning home through the wormhole. Though she lacks an internal sense of home, she’s keenly aware on the effect her disappearance will have on the people who care about her, and she is determined not to leave them in grief and uncertainty.

[EDIT: almost forgot!! dandelion background comes from here ]
Can we get Kennyo's face when receiving a surprise hug from his son Ranbabu or Reika (or both lol since this is just his expression, this is just unnecessary backstory tbh) cuz I really need to see him in A1 cuz cuddles and human feels still take a while to process :')
It’s not exactly the same expression, but I hope you like it! :’D
Happy Valentine’s Day, Reika~ [for the last 10 minutes of it, hahahaha]
