The thing that I love most about Rhaenyra is how she embraces her feminity, about how she loves being a woman. How Rhaenyra appreciates and celebrates her femininity. How she wants to have children, and how she loves being a mother. How she loves romance. How she loves love. How she loves loving and being loved. How she likes being a pretty princess. How she likes being pampered.

Rhaenyra wasn't usurped because she was a woman, she was usurped because she was a stupid woman. If she had kept her leg closed and didn't have BASTARDS she wouldn't have been so opposed throughout the Realm

Saying she wasn't usurped because of misogyny while spewing misogyny is quite funny.

It was never abt her having bastards to begin with. It is and was always abt her being a woman and not having a sausage between her legs.

In the many many drafts of the dance, in one she married a lannister and had no children, but still got usurped. In an other, rhaenyra was married to a lyonel strong, and she still got usurped.

The problem is not her children, or whether she kept her legs close, but that she is a woman.

And let us say it was about bastards, do you really think Daemon would let them live? Let his sons that he has waited for years get passed down. Daemon did love Rhaenyra, but he had his own ambitions and motives. I don't think he would do it publicly simply because of his love for Rhaenyra. But a simple fall, accidental drowning, an assassin, it's all very possible.

It was abt the Hightowers and Alicent's ambitions.

friendly reminder that the phrase ‘a queen for a queen’ does not, in fact, exist in fire and blood canon. it’s a saying made up by aegon meatriders in order to take away from and further ridicule rhaenyra’s death.

she was not murdered so that aegon could avenge helaena (whom he only *maybe* gave a shit about). it was a case of femicide. rhaenyra is usurped because she is a woman, rhaenyra is killed because she is a woman, rhaenyra’s entire LEGACY is rooted in her womanhood and what it ultimately ends up costing her.

her breast was cut as one final “fuck you,” by the narrative, “this would never have happened had you only been born a man.” aegon has her burnt and fed to an unwilling and dying dragon. her violent death is supposed to encompass all the woeful tragedy that it is to be a woman in that society. there is no universe where she escaped this fate. she was doomed from the start.

I read somewhere, that the best brothers, Aegon III & Viserys II, hated their parents Rhaenyra and Daemon???? And the reason? Because none of their 8 combined children were given their grandparents' name? AND they didn't recognise Rhaenyra as being a true queen in the histories??????

Are you just stupid or something? 😭 Like ever heard of the team 'PEACE', it's when you keep your mouth shut. hush, hush. Or 'a state or period in which there is no war or a war has ended.'

They cannot under any circumstances recognise their mother as queen, another revolt from the smallfolks will break out, because the memory of the war is still new.
