i love hakyona so very much. ever since i first watched yona of the dawn, their relationship has been so special to me. from leaving the place they called home to running around looking for the dragons. they saw each other at their best and worst. their love was slow but so beautifully written. they see each other for who they truly are. what i love the most is how they BOTH are willing to do anything to keep the other safe. hakyona’s love story is one of the best ever created.
i love when tragedies are like “the love was there. it didnt change anything. it didnt save anyone. there were just too many forces against it. but it still matters that the love was there”
what i always admired about tobio is how despite the fear of being rejected by his team again, he still stuck with volleyball. during his grief, the rough time in middle school, and the challenges in high school, not once did tobio ever think to himself “i want to give up”. time and time again, he’s shown how much he loves volleyball and his passion to be the greatest setter ever. his determination is so inspiring and his character growth throughout the series is so beautiful. his desire to grow as a player influenced his growth as a person which i always thought was incredible. he’s an amazing character! <3
the matching bracelets. i’m fine.

thorfinn at 16 is INSANE. he’s become such a force of nature in just ten years that it’s insane to think how he was just a child fending for himself at one point. although i’m amazed at how strong he’s become, it makes me so sad to see how numb he is to everything around him. he’s too young to be so angry and detached from life. i understand he still grieves for his father but i hope he’s able to find peace sooner or later. despite how much he’s changed, at his heart he’s still the same boy who’s mourning his father.
