i think haikyuu is just a series you can reread as you get older and it will always feel the same. everytime i reread i get the same emotions from the first time & actually, i get even more attached after every read to the story. it’s timeless. every lesson, every major moment, every feeling can be applied to any moment of your life. it’s a masterpiece!

bokuaka makes me so happy and this panel in particular just sums up their bond so well. bokuto beaming complimenting akaashi and akaashi feeling happy and thankful. they really are the “love at first sight” trope if you think about it. bokuto being akaashi’s star while bokuto sees akaashi as the world. since the moment they met, they were always bound to be together on and off the court. they just make me so happy!!

no doubt that every time furudate is like ‘Kageyama thinks animals are afraid of him bc when he was younger there’s this one that would let everyone else pet them but not him’ it’s just an affectionate way of making Tobio seem less intense and more silly BUT KAGEYAMA STANS ARE LIKE NOOOOO I REJECT!!! from struggling all by himself to becoming one of the greatest setters to have played the sport. he's been a favorite of mine since the moment i started haikyuu, and he will always be one of my favorite characters. i have so much love for him and i'm glad furudate created such an amazing character. tobio has always been so dedicated to volleyball ever since his grandpa showed him how fun it was. he worked hard every day, learned how to become a team member, grew to become an amazing person, and now can smile freely with his teammates. he has come such a long way. I'm so happy we were able to see his journey. happy birthday tobio <3
