the way the haikyuu movie just drop kicked me back into my haikyuu obsession,, I've spent the last 2 days exclusively reading haikyuu fanfics on ao3, my tiktok fyp is almost exclusively haikyuu and the last thing I drew was kenma and kuroo fanart👍👍 I physically cannot like anything a normal amount I fear,, okay maybe it just applies to shows with close knit friend groups so I can use them as a substitute for having friends irl but that sounds depressing so I'm just gonna stay in ✨denial✨🌈🌈

I was thinking about Haikyuu couples and the Person A/Person B morosexual thing where Person A says they’re attracted exclusively to idiots and I realized that hinata and kageyama are simultaneously both Person A and B because kageyama would 100% ask what the Spanish word for tortilla is and hinata would 100% ask what kind of animal the pink panther is like
There’s not a braincell among them they’re just stupid and they’re perfect for each other
Tsukishima/Tanaka = most intimidating and protective couple you will ever encounter. God help you if you mess with these two, or anyone they care about. They'll mess you up.

you ever think about how they'll probably see this picture in a yearbook when they're 60 years old and reminisce about their time as a part of the karasuno volleyball club? cuz i do all the time
i get tears in my eyes whenever i think of how karasuno was the foundation of kageyama’s growth. tobio found a team that accepted him & gave him the space to grow as a setter. not being accepted into shiratorizawa was the best thing that could happen to him. because of that rejection, he found his way to shoyo, who would become his lifelong partner and rival. because of his teammates, he finally understood what it meant to be a team. he felt valued and was able to build a connection with people that went beyond volleyball. it’s because he played at karasuno that he’s now able to create connections that help him become a better person AND player. karasuno needed tobio & tobio needed them.

from struggling all by himself to becoming one of the greatest setters to have played the sport. he's been a favorite of mine since the moment i started haikyuu, and he will always be one of my favorite characters. i have so much love for him and i'm glad furudate created such an amazing character. tobio has always been so dedicated to volleyball ever since his grandpa showed him how fun it was. he worked hard every day, learned how to become a team member, grew to become an amazing person, and now can smile freely with his teammates. he has come such a long way. I'm so happy we were able to see his journey. happy birthday tobio <3
“you can fly even higher” is better than any love confession ever written. kageyama believed in hinata’s potential & knew he was bound to become even better. he set the ball EVEN HIGHER because he knew HINATA WOULD BE THERE!! kags had faith in his partner & never doubted him. even when kenma was caging hinata in, kageyama didn’t let that change anything. if kageyama sets a toss, hinata will be right there. it’s a bond that didn’t take long to form but will last a lifetime. I LOVE KAGEHINA 😭😭
this will remain one of the funniest haikyuu scenes of all time. and it’s even funnier when you realize kagehina still failed after all that studying…they really are only built to understand volleyball 😭😭
i’m always so happy to see kagehina in official art. i just love seeing hinata & kageyama in their element. shoyo’s big smile while looking at kageyama, kageyama talking to kenma. these two boys came from no team to now being friends with other players from different cities. they not only have karasuno but so much more now. makes me so happy!!
