You and Hoshiumi probably met during his volleyball practice at kamomedai high 

In all honesty, you were there because your friends (who I should mention you don’t really hang out with much) dragged you to your dismay

For literally one moment, you're looking down at your phone to see how much time has passed by before suddenly, a ball hits your face

Next thing you know, your falling and the sounds of your friends yelling asking you if your okay are fading as your sight turns black

When you wake up, you are greeted with a white hair male who’s yelling out apology after apology before he gets smacked in the head by a much taller guy

The guy-- or I should say, Hoshiumi had offered to walk you home to make up for (unintentionally) hitting you in your face since your friends had fled off without you (smh shitty friends)

Anyway, you were too shy to say no, so you nodded a “yes” to your misfortune 

After they clean up, he walks you home and I swear he does not shut up: “So I’m really sorry for hitting you in the face but it’s not like I meant to heh. Oh! I’m surprised you haven't criticized my height yet. Usually when people see me they underestimate me until they see me play and then I’m like HUAHH excuse me?!”

He keeps blabbering on about yourself until you quietly answer, “Really? I thought you were a good player before even actually seeing you play...”

Hoshiumi.exe has stopped working 

That is when he decided that, yep, Imma talk to this gurl more often

The rest of the walk he’s asking you questions about him and how you think he’s really good and you just reply meekly saying that, “Well... why should I doubt someone’s abilities when I haven’t seen them in action yet? Besides, I’ve heard that our school’s volleyball team is really good, so I assume you must be good... right?”

Yep, it was at this moment, that Hoshiumi decided that he was gonna talk to you for the rest of his life

Hoshiumi: “You know, for someone who’s quiet, you really should express your opinions more often! You have really interesting thoughts!”

For once, you felt happy that someone actually liked you as you were, so, when you reached to your house, you exchanged numbers with Hoshiumi so that you two could talk more often

A new friendship has arisen, but how are you both friends when your opposites?

Here’s the thing, basically, Hoshiumi sits beside you during lunchtimes without even asking for your permission

Hoshiumi: “Is anyone sitting here?”

You: “No but..”

Hoshiumi: “Great!”

Have any extracurriculars, he’s ALWAYS the one to be cheering you on

If you don’t have any club activities, then he would probably try to encourage you to try out for some clubs

If you do, then oh boi he’s gonna be so proud of you for stepping out of your comfort zone for trying something different for once

Hoshiumi: “YESSS I’m so proud of you!”

You: You already said that...”

If you ever feel anxious or super nervous, he will pull you to the side and immediately reassure you that everything is all right and that your gonna be fine

Hoshiumi: “No no no no no! We are not gonna do that. If anyone can pull through it’s you, so cheer up okay?”

You: “But..”

Hoshiumi: Nope! No buts!”

Being Hoshiumi’s best friend means that you are ALWAYS gonna be around him

Congratulations, you are now the manager of kamomedai's mens volleyball team

If he does a really cool spike or something like that in practice, he will turn around to you to see if you saw it

Hoshiumi: “Did you say that Y/n?”

You: “Yeah... that was a really good one just now...”

Sleepovers probably happen at least once a month, and oh b o i it gets very chaotic

Hoshiumi: “Hey Y/n, pillow fight!”

You: *Gets wacked by a pillow*

If he’s every insecure about something then you will be the first person who he talks to it about since he likes hearing your thoughts and ideas

If someone talks shit about you then y i k e s, they better hope Hoshiumi isn’t around otherwise they would have to face his wrath

Leader of the Y/n protection squad- Hoshiumi Kourai 

Lmao this seagull doesn’t like it when you call him by his surname

Y/n: Hoshiumi-kun, have you-”

Hoshiumi: “Oh come on Y/n, call me by my real nameee!”

Y/n: *Sighs* “Kourai-kun...”

Hoshiumi: “Much better!”

Don’t even try to overwork yourself... just don’t because he will put an end to it 

In all honesty, the relationship you two would have would kinda be like the relationship that Bokuto and Akaashi have lol
