i think itโs so cute that denji is just following what aki does even if itโs not perfect. theyโre family ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
anybody else think of little details like this where denji isnโt doing something correctly because I do. I think about it a lot and I might cry.
just read chapter 40 of witch hat atelier and my initial reaction was, "what the hell just happened?" but after rereading it, i think i've come to better understand qifrey's motives.
before it happens, qifrey starts to talk about how happy he is teaching the girls magic. he's at peace in his atelier, living and taking care of the four girls alongside olruggio but he still hasn't let go of what happened in his youth. in fact, the peacefulness he feels every day has made his uneasiness worse. now it isn't only just him that could be hurt. it's his precious students and olruggio that he has to lose now. there's much more at stake than there was before.
so while he begins to confess the truth, he doesn't allow olruggio to keep his memories. qifrey's trauma still haunts him even at his happiest. for some people, they would leave the horrible things in the past to enjoy the good they have in the present. but for qifrey it's an impossible thing to do. it would be so much better to have at least ONE person to confide to and have support you, but qifrey doesn't allow it. it's completely irrational and bound to create problems in the future, but it shows how far qifrey is willing to go to achieve his goal. he CHOOSES to look for answers all on his own knowing the path will be difficult.
qifrey is someone the girls look up to; we see him as a cheerful guy who is someone we can count on. but this chapter showed us that he's still that child searching for answers. it doesn't matter how much time has passed or how much wiser or stronger he has become; he can never move on from his past until he stops the brimmed caps' plan.
i wish qifrey acted in some other way or allowed himself to lean on olruggio but it adds more to his character. he's complicated; he has his own agenda, yet his love for the people in his life is undeniable. he will stop at nothing to find answers but won't endanger his loved ones to get them. this chapter was so well done, and i'm excited to see where this takes the story!
i love the headcanon that giyuu is a big brother to the kamado siblings. he was the first to believe in tanjirou and have faith in nezuko. he even went as far as to put his life on the line if nezuko ever ate a human. i just love the idea of giyuu taking care of the kamado's as if they were siblings. it makes me happy that they found each other and stayed connected for the rest of their lives, as if they really were siblings <3
what i always admired about tobio is how despite the fear of being rejected by his team again, he still stuck with volleyball. during his grief, the rough time in middle school, and the challenges in high school, not once did tobio ever think to himself โi want to give upโ. time and time again, heโs shown how much he loves volleyball and his passion to be the greatest setter ever. his determination is so inspiring and his character growth throughout the series is so beautiful. his desire to grow as a player influenced his growth as a person which i always thought was incredible. heโs an amazing character! <3

finished water 7 arc!!
so peak! i loved that the problems werenโt JUST a new villain but also the issues between the crew. the usopp vs luffy situation was very realistic. i was so hurt by their argument but it was important to show the audience that not EVER moment between the crew is amazing. after all, they are all different people with different dreams and personalities.
robinโs storyline is amazing. i have grown very attached to her character. sheโs beautiful, smart, caring, and it hurts when people from the government label her as a โdevilโ. she was just a child :(
overall, this arc is definitely my favorite so far. there was some cool moments, some sad ones, and funny ones!! just a perfect arc in my eyes!
side note: the scene where zoro gets stuck in a chimney and luffy gets stuck between the wall TWICE made me laugh so hard. def a highlight for me ๐ญ
just watched mha: youโre next and i have never wanted to be a hero as badly as i do now. it was so much fun and i loved watching the characters all together again in a less traumatic wayโฆi just love izuku, katsuki, & shoto fighting side by side itโs always my favorite part of these movies. i also really like giulio!!! heโs such a cool character i would love to see more of. overall, such a fun movie. i just love mha so much!!!! y
