Starting A New Series That You’re Looking Forward To VS The Comfort Of Revisiting Your Fav Series Is

i've been missing fruits basket so much recently. it really was such an amazing shoujo with so many layers to it. i miss kyo, tohru, yuki, rin, and haru so much. especially the trio...i really grew to become too attached to kyo, tohru, & yuki. it was such an emotional journey. kyo's storyline broke my heart. the slowburn was done so well. but also, the character development throughout the show, especially with yuki, was my favorite. the characters overcame their family trauma to get their happy ending...i just miss them so much.

i love & hate how i get so invested in a series because i’ll binge it uncontrollably because I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING and then when i finish/catch up i feel empty. happy that i found a new series that i’m OBSESSED with. but now i have to wait for a new chapter. even worse is when there’s nothing else to wait for BECAUSE IT’S OVER.

shoyo’s eyes sparkling whenever he looks at tobio IS CRAZY TO ME!!! ever since that ONE match in middle school, he’s been fascinated with tobio. now that they play together, as a duo, as A TEAM his admiration is totally out of control. i just love how he makes it so clear that tobio IS an amazing player and he isn’t afraid to shout it from the roof tops. just like tobio sees shoyo’s skills, shoyo sees all of tobio’s hard work and is IN AWE!!! SHOYO WAS BEWITCHED MIND BODY AND SOUL FROM DAY ONE!

finally reading lovely complex after watching the anime years ago and it’s bringing back all the cozy, giggly feelings i had. shoujos like this are so comforting to me! i love romance so much so this is such a fun read!!! love koizumi and otani so much!!! they’re so silly and fun! koizumi especially is so relatable to me. currently on chapter 10 and i’m feeling so giddy & happy. romance really is the perfect medicine for me. I LOVE LOVELY COMPLEX!!
