1. Needs time to comprehend speech and respond. He'll say "what" if he doesn't know what to say or needs more time to respond. 2. Misinterpreted as rude when he doesn't understand what's happening.

3. Needs specific instructions on what to do or say. In Trivia Night, he got confused when Fatz kept saying his name, without telling him that he was supposed to introduce himself. 4. Stimming. Flaps his ears when happy or excited, or when he hears noise.

5. Always smiling. 6. Outer space is his special interest.

7. Wears space suits all the time. He explained that he's been doing it ever since he was a kid, and he made his own space suit. 8. Misinterpreted as stupid at times.

Chuck e cheese fandom culture is waking up at 5:30 am and getting your schoolwork done so you have enough time later to go and see the animatronics before it gets crowded

How do you calm down when excited? (asking for advice)

Okay, so, I figured I'd ask my fellow autistics for advice.

So I may be seeing my special interest irl at some point. But it's like... I physically cannot view content of the special interest without having to jump up and hand flap while running around my room. Even thinking about it triggers it. I just love it so much. It makes me that happy.

But I have no idea how I will manage it in public, while looking at my f***ing special interest right there in my face. I seriously think I'll have a heart attack for something. The happiness will just be... Aggghhhh I can't even explain it in words.

So, what can I do to try to calm myself so I don't explode when I see them? Preferably nothing too obvious because my family will be there and I don't want to embarrass or shock them by stimming. I know I'll be sweating and blushing like mad.

TLDR: I might be seeing something that makes me VERY happy and I need to know ways to calm down that would be somewhat socially acceptable.

~Dook is autistic.

~Fatz acts tough, but he is actually super protective of his fellow band members.

~Everyone fights over who gets to hold baby Choo-Choo.

~Mitzi always comes to the band to chill out after a hard day at school, and they always make her feel better.

~The band's favorite thing to do together is having a pizza party or just anything that has to do with pizza.

~Beach Bear's parents are divorced. He talks to his mom a lot, but his dad isn't that nice so he only talks to him occasionally.

~Beach Bear can tell if Dook is getting overwhelmed, and will leave to go somewhere else with him. The band gets it, and won't judge him.

~Billy Bob is obsessed with baking. It seems like he's making a new pie every day. He always shares what he makes with the band.

~Rolfe acts like a meanie onstage, but that's only for the show. In reality he is a total sweetheart (most of the time).

~Rolfe and Earl are besties, but they fight 24/7.

~Uncle Klunk, Dook, Billy Bob, and Looney Bird all love puns and will laugh as loudly as possible at them, and end up really annoying everyone else.

~Looney Bird has ADHD.
