In the decrepit halls of Riverdale’s Southside high all eyes watched the newest addition to the poor excuse that was Southside High’s student body.  People were silently placing bets; guessing how long she’d last before she was enveloped into one of groups that made up the high school population and which one she would join because there one was thing every person at Southside High knew- Lone wolves don’t live long.

The platinum haired beauty was aware of the attention she drew but she didn’t shrink under the weight of the burning eyes, no, she reveled in it. Her clothes stood out against the bleak and dark tones that made up the Southside fashion. She wore a parchment coloured crop top with the playing face of an Ouija board on its front, distressed dark red skinny jeans and high-heeled combat boots that were a glittery black but it was the black denim jacket that she wore with pride that attracted the most attention. On its back, a single red rose surrounded by the words 

‘Nos raciness sont profondes’.

There was something about her that unsettled Jughead Jones. Maybe it was the nagging sense of familiarity that he couldn’t quite place, like he knew her from another time and place, or maybe it was the way his skin shivered when he met her mismatched eyes, blue and black orbs cutting deep beneath his skin.
