Hey! I would like to request yandere garou from opm hcs or scenario whichever you feel comfortable doing, if your not taking request right now you can just ignore this. I love your garou x Reader stories btw.
*GIF not mine*
A/N: I’m glad you like them! Also, b r u h, tysm for this request bc ugh, I forgot how much of a babe Garou is. Honestly, I could talk about this boy for hours bc he’s so friggin’ 🥵 (aka this shit’s a lil long). Hope you enjoy! (Side note: It’s a lil more fluffy than anything. Lemme know if you want something darker 😐)
Word count: 1280
He’s definitely a stalker.
I mean, what else can he be? He’s the feared Hero Hunter, how the hell is he gonna attract you straight up?
Speaking of, this means he totally kidnaps you. You’re, honest to God, terrified of this mf.
“Please don’t kill me.”
“Angel, I would never. You don’t have to be afraid of me.”
Angel
(Side note: any and every guy you’ve ever talked to and/or are close with have mysteriously disappeared for some reason… I wonder why🤔)
He’s addicted to you in almost a childlike way (bc mind you, this fucker’s 18💀)
He’s always looking to please you while you’re locked in his home, since he’s gotta convince you to fall in love with him. Sadly… he’s got like zero experience in that arena.
Aka he won’t touch you often, not unless you explicitly state that you want it, and his idea of romance is just loading you up with gifts.
Garou loves spoiling you, but I’m gonna be upfront when I say he likes seeing things that claim you as his.
Deadass, he threatened a jewelry store into making you a necklace with his name on it. (Ofc he makes you wear it, but the only “punishment” you get for not wearing it is him putting it on you anyway while you’re distracted)
Though his main priority is becoming strong, Garou begins to realize that he’s losing will to become strong for himself. Now, he wants to become stronger for you.
There were a couple times where he almost got his ass reamed by some Class S heroes, but that only made him realize that there are dangers out there he might not be able to protect you from.
Sometimes you’re just sitting in the abandoned barn Garou hides out in and you can hear him training. Groans and grunts level 100 😳
In all seriousness though, Garou definitely treats you with utmost respect. He understands that you might not like him because he kidnapped you and forced you to stay with him. There are times where you scream and smack at him, and of course deep down he’s hurt, but he would never retaliate.
Everytime he comes home, it’s always the same greeting.
“I’m home, angel!”
“Go to hell, asshole!”
Eventually-- eventually-- you start to warm up to him, though, and Garou can see it. He’s an extremely observant person; he notices all your ticks and can read your face like a book, so he can easily tell when you’re starting to… well, at least not hate him as much.
For example, his heart almost burst with joy when one day you almost smiled at the sight of him. He came home from tracking down and researching more heroes to see you staring at your newest gift: a collection of your favorite books from before you were kidnapped. (He had gone to your old home and taken your bookshelf).
“Hey, angel, do you like it?” he asks excitedly.
Your mouth twitches, and he waits and waits for more, but that’s all he gets. “Yes. Thank you, Garou.”
He went to bed with the biggest grin on his face that night.
While we’re on the subject, I should note that he doesn’t make you sleep with him. Like I said earlier, he’s not great with romance, and he definitely knows he doesn’t wanna force himself on you and have you hate him forever.
Garou wants you to fill the hole in his heart. He’s got no family or friends, but he knows he doesn’t need them as long as he has you. He wants you to love him unconditionally, like he never was as a child.
All righty, let’s hop to it.
So. Months after he’s taken you, you finally feel yourself falling for him, and seeing how lovingly he treats you, you don’t exactly resist.
Once again, you’re just sitting in the barn, waiting for him to come home, and when he does, you jump him.
One small kiss, then he stares at you in surprise. Then another, longer kiss, passionate and filled with want. Then another. Then another. All the way until… 😳 (see “when you hear this mf train” for more info😏)
Ok y’all, don’t get pissy at me, but *cough* breeding kink *cough*
Honestly! You can’t tell me this guy isn’t gonna want kids as soon as he finds his darling.
Can, like, can y’all just humor me for a sec? Okay.
Imagine this: Tareo babysits your kids when he’s older 😌
Akneeways, after he feels like you’ve fallen for him enough that he can trust you, he’ll take you outside.
(One time, a guy accidentally bumped into you on the street but didn’t apologize. You held Garou back from beating the shit out of him at the time, telling him “it’s fine, it’s fine, I’m okay.” Later, however, Garou comes home with blood splatters in his hair.)
At one point, he brings you along to meet Tareo. Ofc the boy talks smack, like “Wow, your gf’s as old as you” or “how does someone so pretty fall for your ugly mug.”
Tbh, you thought Garou was gonna explode on his ass, but your heart warms at the sound of Garou’s snicker and the sight of him ruffling the boy’s hair teasingly. “Shut it, you little runt.”
Now, Garou’s told you he loved you countless times at this point. He often tells you he loves you before y’all go to sleep, and he even used to do that before you slept in the same bed as him, back when you hated him. But in this moment, it’s the first time that you’ve ever felt something akin to love while watching him. (His face and voice didn’t exactly show it, but there was a sparkle in Garou’s eyes that told you he was excited for you and Tareo to meet.)
And now, it’s time for a lil story. Once again, Garou’s only 18, but it’s questionable whether he even went to high school. Keep that in mind.
Blood was everywhere.
Garou had only just woken up to find you, still sleeping with the red liquid slowly pooling around you.
Oh God.
“YN!” Garou shouts in alarm.
“Mm, what?” you groan, annoyance tinging your tone at the sudden awakening.
“YOU’RE BLEEDING!”
“What?” You glance down while Garou jumps out of bed, dashing from the room before returning just as swiftly with his homemade first aid kit.
“Oh. Garou, it’s fine-”
“JUST STAY AWAKE YN, KEEP YOUR EYES OPEN!”
Your eyebrow twitches in irritation and you squeal when he rips the sheets right off your bare form. With trembling fingers, he prods at your thighs, searching for the wound.
“WHERE’S IT COMING FROM?!”
“There’s no wound.”
“WHERE IS IT?!”
Finally, you smack his hands away and clamber out of bed, hobbling over to the bathroom while clenching your thighs together.
“I’m on my period, dumbass.”
As soon as the door shuts behind you, Garou scratches his head. “What’s a period?”
So yes, although Garou loves you deeply and has the body of a Greek god, you have to keep reminding yourself that he kinda dropped out of school just to beat up heroes. It’s okay, you have plenty of time to teach him the ropes of being with you because you’re not going anywhere anytime soon.

A/N: Just the one, but I really wanna do more for other pairs like Daichi-Sugawara and such. Not really sure how I feel about this one in general, but I hope y’all like it!

Hinata Shouyou and Kageyama Tobio:
With ease, these two take up all your attention.
One minute, Hinata’s trying to show you his improving math grades, and the next, Kageyama’s trying to show off his power serves.
Neither one leaves you alone for long but as soon as they come together on you, everything turns into a zoo. Kageyama’s shyly holding your hand, purely for the peer pressure of Hinata draping his entire arm around your waist.
Let’s face it--you’re just another contest between them.
However, as soon as a new boy even looks like he’s trying to come into the picture, they’re gonna scare him away. (This is one of the few times they work together for a common goal--how sweet!)
Hinata will try his best to politely ask the man to leave you alone… but that doesn’t work. So now it’s Kageyama’s turn.
He glares. And then he glares some more.
All silence. Just glares.
And then the boy never bothers you again! Really, it’s that easy.
They’ll never kidnap you unless absolutely necessary, but that really never happens considering they’re already the only men in your life.
Kageyama’s terribly awkward in showing his affection to you, but Hinata is the complete opposite. The shorter has no shame in tackling you in a hug, while the taller most definitely is terrified of even brushing the hair from your face.
But Hinata has much to learn too. While Kageyama understands your desire to not stand out, Hinata just loves to show you off to the world!
This includes kisses (bordering on making out) in the middle of class--a huge no-go for you.
All it takes is one “You know she hates that, dumbass!” and Hinata’s learned his lesson, but he’s still antsy to show you off.
To volleyball games, your attendance is mandatory. Some days they wouldn’t even dare to play if you weren’t there to watch.
They love to see you cheer for them, no matter how much it makes Kageyama blush while Hinata jumps up and down. One successful quick attack and both boys’ gazes search the crowd for you, finding home and waiting for your approval like a pair of puppies.
They’re such good boys.
However, this totally presents a problem the minute you all graduate high school.
It would be a lie to say they completely hated sharing, but there was still a small rivalry of who would get you once the inevitable split happened.
Whose games would you go to more? Who would you live with? How would the other have to compensate?
You didn’t want to leave them either. After all, it’d been three years. In that amount of time, there was no way their love was still completely unrequited.
A compromise was met.
You lived in an apartment in a city exactly halfway between both boys’ teams. They paid for your living expenses--because of course they loved to spoil you--while you went to the local college. It was perfect!
Until it wasn’t.
There was a boy.
In one of your classes.
He was nice. Too nice.
But he wasn’t the only one.
Suddenly you had friend groups you were hanging out with, people who had no idea what you liked or what to keep you away from.
When Hinata and Kageyama agreed to meet you one Friday night at your apartment and you weren’t home, that was the last straw.
Clearly you couldn’t be trusted on your own. Clearly, you didn’t deserve that freedom.
And then they found you, smiling, chatting, laughing with what could only be described as undeserving scum, Hinata and Kageyama snapped.
“Please don’t!”
“It’s for your own good, YN. You didn’t listen to us!” Normally, Hinata couldn’t bear to see you cry without shedding a few tears of his own, but tonight his eyes were dry. His face was still sad though as he handcuffed you to Kageyama’s bed.
Kageyama enters the room, a suitcase in each hand. “Here,” he hands one to Hinata. “This one stays at your house while I keep this one here.”
The new plan: you were to be locked up in one of their homes, switching every week.
Hinata accepted the bag with a nod, tossing one last glance at your crying form.
“YN.” He couldn’t resist, brushing the tears from your cheeks with his thumbs. Hinata cringed in sadness at the way you flinched away from his touch, but he didn’t mention it. “Please. You know I hate to see you cry. Look at it this way,” he forced a smile, caressing the skin underlying your cuffs, “now you don’t have to wait for one of us to come to you, because we’ll always be here. And if you want to see the other, we can FaceTime!”
Kageyama clenched his jaw at the scene, wishing he didn’t have to keep you locked up just to keep you in his apartment.
But he knew it was for your own good.
Finally, when Hinata couldn’t take anymore of your crying face, he rose from his crouch at your side with a whimper and made his way to Kageyama standing in the doorway.
“Remind her that I love her every day.”
“Okay.”
“And that she can always call if she needs to.”
“Okay.”
“And don’t forget that she’s almost on her-”
“I know that, dumbass, you don’t think I have that marked on my calendar?”
“I was just saying, Kageyama!”
“Whatever.”
And with that, Hinata left with a suitcase of half of your possessions in hand.
Kageyama sat by your side on his bed the minute his front door closed, one of his hands reaching up to brush through your hair. “You understand why we needed to do this, right?”
You couldn’t hold his blue gaze for long before more tears sprung to your eyes. “Please…”
Kageyama shook his head, dropping his hand to cup your cheek. “It’ll be like this for a while. At least… at least until we can trust you again. All right?”
When he saw your bottom lip begin to quiver once more, he knew reasoning with you was pointless. Even though he’d known you for years, handling your emotions was still foreign to him.
Hinata was so much better at that stuff.
Kageyama huffed and rose to his feet, pressing a hesitant kiss to your forehead before moving to the suitcase sitting on the floor. “I’ll help you unpack, and tomorrow maybe you can come with me to practice if you’re good, okay?”
Kageyama and Hinata were always going to struggle with sharing you, but it was an issue they were willing to work through. After all, they shared one common goal: keeping you by their sides.
Hey, I don't know if I sent this already (if I did, I'm sorry), but do you still write for OPM?
Nah, you only sent this in once, so you’re totally fine👌 I do still write for OPM, but my request box is currently closed💜
Side note: if you do send in a request, that’s totally okay. I’m just trying to balance out my life and this blog right now, so it will take me a while to get to your request and get it out.

Bakugou Katsuki:
Wants to ignore you
Definitely the type to fold his arms and turn away when you enter a room or scoff when you talk to another guy
But when you walk away the guy is being given a glare that could put him six feet under
Acts cold to you--not exactly like how he did before he was interested in you, like how he calls everyone “extras,” but more so like he just sneers at you for no reason and rolls his eyes everytime you speak
Lil pomeranian boi just misses you really badly
But he hates the idea that you have that much power over him that you could draw him back to your side in a matter of seconds. It frustrates him how much he wants you back
At one point he’s tired of having nightmares of you leaving night after night--especially now that he doesn’t have you to comfort him after waking up in a cold sweat.
So he’ll climb out of bed and stomp over to your door
And proceed to stare at it for about twenty minutes with his mind and heart running marathons
What does he say?
What does he do?
Would you be mad? Sad? Disappointed?
Or… would you even care that he was still in love with you?
It all becomes too much, and soon enough he just has to know
So he raises a fist to pound on your door loud enough to wake the entire floor
And the door opens before he even makes contact.
“Katsuki?”
“YN.” Surprisingly, Bakugou feels all too calm at this moment, like he knows exactly what to say.
“What are you doing here?”
A muscle in Bakugou’s chin twitches as he struggles to find the exact words. He wanted to make his point but he also didn’t want you to slam the door in his face. “I… Look. You told me that we should both move on and that I should get over you.”
“Katsuki-”
“But here’s the thing, YN,” when he takes a step forward, you take a step back and he physically flinches at the movement, “I don’t want to.” He shakes his head. “I don’t want to get over us and move on to other people. I don’t want to see you with other guys when I know I could make you happier. That I have made you happier.”
“Katsuki,” your face softens, “you don’t have to-”
“Don’t tell me what I don’t have to do, YN. I’m not letting you go, understood? Try to move on all you want, I’m not going to let you. I’ll scare off any man you even talk to if I have to-”
Two hands piled over his mouth shut him up instantly and you lean past Bakugou to glance both ways down the hall before yanking him inside your room.
As soon as the door’s shut, you turn to him and shake your head with the smallest little smile.
“Katsuki, you dumbass. I was just going to leave my room to give you the same lecture.”
“Huh?”
“You took the words right out of my mouth,” you cup his cheek, reveling in the foreign look of shock on the blond’s face, “so no need for anymore threats on guys I may or may not go out with… unless you’re really willing to go after yourself that badly.”
Relief floods through Bakugou’s body, warming him up with the thoughts that he didn’t need to worry about truly losing you at all--as it turns out, you agreed you were his just as much as he did.
“So… we’re back together?”
“Yep, unless…”
Oh shit
“Unless what?” Bakugou froze under your touch and reached a hand up to secure your palm against his cheek. “What is it?”
It almost pissed him off that you were able to laugh so freely while he was in an obvious state of panic.
“Well, I was gonna suggest break-up sex but judging by just how badly you want to get back together, it seems like that’s off the table.”
Oh. Oh you damned little thing.
Such a fucking tease.
“Nah,” Bakugou shook his head and before you knew it, you were being forced down onto your bed, wrists locked tightly above you. “You’ve got the right idea. Break-up sex tonight, and tomorrow we can make up all day long.”
Kirishima Eijirou:
On the surface, Kirishima is the same old manly man everyone knows him to be
But his eyes no longer have that same glint
And that smile just always seems seconds away from faltering
His red hair seems less spiky than usual, and those bags under his eyes are just the biggest tell
Kirishima is broken.
He’s not grinning and holding your hand as he walks into class anymore, escorting you to your seat with a perhaps almost overdone kiss. Instead, he almost slumps to his own seat, avoiding eye contact with as many people as possible.
But the instant you step into the classroom, you feel it.
You sit in the front row, giving him plenty of freedom to watch you for the entire day.
Kirishima thinks it’s natural, it’s harmless. He’s just trying to get over an ex--everyone knows how hard that is.
But he’s just making things worse. He tortures himself by constantly standing to attention anytime you speak. Or anytime your name is mentioned. Or anytime someone who remotely looks like you walks by him.
No, he’s not doing great at this “moving on” thing, and he knows that.
But part of it’s because he just can’t believe that you’re not struggling to do it either.
Kirishima knows none of those kisses and “I love yous” were lies. He knows you meant every single hug and smile you ever gave him. Every time you said you cared about him, he could see in your eyes that you meant it wholeheartedly.
So maybe you could see how he wondered why loving you was suddenly so painful.
Because now you were broken up and all this love he had to give you had nowhere to go and nowhere to be. It was like the love he had for you was useless.
Kirishima hated those words, that thought. That being in love with you for all those months was useless, and that it just needed to be flushed away.
All those plans he had of being with you, becoming superheroes at one another’s side and raising a family together. Planning ahead so far to even name the bridesmaids and groomsmen of your wedding and the names of your children.
The future house and the rooms of that house, how many there would be and what kinds they were. You needed a library, one he was all too ready to build for you and he wanted a mancave you would surely supply with snacks.
All of that was useless.
But Kirishima didn’t want to think so. So he came up with a plan.
And when you walked into class the next day, Kirishima sat in your assigned seat, and you knew you smelled mischief.
“Eijirou… whatcha doin’?”
When Kirishima raised his eyes to yours, the corner of his mouth turned up just an inch.
“Sitting.”
You purse your lips. “I see that. But you know you could do the same exact thing in your own seat, right?”
The conversation wasn’t exactly a spectacle--the only other people in the room were in the back of the class talking amongst themselves distractedly. No one would bother to interfere.
“Well, YN,” Kirishima leaned back, “I kinda want to trade places for a day. I wanna sit in your seat and act all nonchalant, pretending like I actually wanted us to break up-”
You could hear his voice growing choked up and moved to stop him. “Eijirou-”
“-and you can sit in my seat and do as I do. Remember how happy we were and how much you said you loved me. And how I broke up with you anyway.”
It was cold, like the room had suddenly dropped a few degrees. The boy everyone thought didn’t have a single mean bone in his body seemed to flip a switch in himself, turning emotionless in the blink of an eye.
For him to act like you never loved him almost hurt as much as when you broke up with him. In all honesty, you thought it was for the best at the time. You felt it would help both of you focus on your studies so that you could become better heroes than anything.
You thought that’s what Kirishima wanted, and that you were doing what was best for him. But you were wrong.
It seemed all he really wanted was you--being a hero had moved to second.
“Eijirou…”
So the question was did you want him just as badly?
“YN…”
Becoming a hero was the entire reason you came to this school, and was also the reason you broke off one of the best relationships you’d ever had. You’d thought you were making things better.
But had it really helped anything?
“Eijirou, I…”
Your grades had actually dropped. Terribly. You couldn’t remember the last time you actually got quality sleep.
And judging by Kirishima’s dark circles, he was suffering the same side effects.
These weren’t the symptoms of withdrawal--they were just the signs of a mistake.
So as you looked into Kirishima’s eyes, hard enough to see past all the barriers he had put up, you could see the same questions you kept asking yourself.
Why did I ever think this was worth it? Why did I ever think this would help me be happy?
The answer was it didn’t.
And trial and error was a pain in the ass.
“Eijirou, I’m sorry.” Your brows drew together in regret as you lowered your gaze, reaching over to grab the hand Kirishima had tensed on the desktop. “Maybe… no. Breaking up was definitely a mistake, and I wasn’t even thinking of the shit I was going to put both of us through by doing that. I’m sorry.”
But just as his mouth opened to respond, the bell rang and twenty other students flooded in in a mad dash to get to their seats.
Before you moved to claim Kirishima’s seat as your own, you made a split second decision that you hoped could display even a little of what you were thinking.
Kirishima froze at the kiss, his eyes going wide as you tilted his chin up to give yourself access. His lips were soft, just as you’d dreamt about for the last five nights, and tasted like that damned chapstick he always wore.
And when you pulled away, he tried to reach out to stop you but you stepped away from his desperate hands, instead navigating your way back to his desk.
Kirishima was frantic, spinning in your seat to get a look at your blushing face while his own mouth stayed open enough to catch a couple flies. The second your lips quirked up into a smirk, he almost jerked back with whiplash.
Fucking hell, she did not just-
“Okay class,” Aizawa slumped into the classroom with his usual cheerfulness. “I want you to take a look at-wait.” The teacher paused for just a second to take note of Kirishima’s back facing him and you just five seats away whistling and observing the ceiling with interest.
“YLN, Kirishima, get back to your original seats for God’s sake. There’s no time for this.”
All too ready, Kirishima rose from your chair and made his way towards you with eyes unsteady and hungry.
Tonight you would explain just what exactly you were thinking when you decided to break up with Kirishima out of the blue. I mean, you seriously almost gave him a heart attack.
Directly after school though…
Kirishima caught your arm as you moved to walk past him and threw you a look that would stick in your mind for the rest of class. Just as fast, he released you completely and dropped into his seat, eyes locked on your every move as you slid into your own.
Oh yeah. Directly after school, he was going to make you pay for the pain you put his mind through with your body.
Ya know what I love about fan fiction?
You wanna write a cliche? Go for it!
You want your story to be super angsty and way overdramatic? The more the better.
You want so much fluff it hurts? Write it!!
You wanna mix werewolves with a sitcom? Why not??
You wanna write a 300 word one shot? Cool.
You wanna write 200k+? Also cool.
You wanna write a story that’s been written a thousand times over? Do it anyway!
You wanna write something so outlandish and specific that it only has a target audience of like two people? Well, then those two people will love it.
It’s such a beautiful and nonjudgmental art. And yes, it is an art. It’s an art that is actually solely about bringing joy to you and your audience.
And I love that.

Hey! Could I request a yandere garou scenario where Reader who does not know who garou is and never met him before, is kidnapped by the monster association and he goes on a rampage to get them back?Sorry if it's too specific.
*GIF not mine*
Summary: (TW: gore) After the Monster Association kidnaps you under the claim that you’re bait for a friend, the man that comes to save you is unfamiliar, but he seems to know you quite well. He’s your savior… but who is he?
A/N: I don’t think I’ve ever written something so… disgusting. Seriously, trust the trigger warning. Anyways, sorry this was so late, but I hope it’s what you wanted! Enjoy! (Side note: a lil late, but thanks for 1.6k y’all!)

Sewage, decaying rats, and other putrid scents infiltrated your nose the second the blindfold was ripped away from your face. The sight that greeted you was even worse.
“So this is what drives him.” A monster. Pink, round, and multi-limbed, it had one eye that stared you down while it spoke in a complacent tone. “I suppose now all we have to do is wait. He’ll be along shortly.”
You didn’t have a clue what it was talking about, nor the brainpower to consider it. Instead, you focused on the heart-stopping sights around you. With your hands and feet tied behind your back, you sat on your knees in two-inch thick sewer sludge that soaked through the fabric of your jeans.
Creatures of all kinds flooded the large opening of the brick underground of City Z. Their base looked like a colosseum, several floors stacked on one another with balconies holding types of monsters you couldn’t even imagine. Some appeared human, standing on two legs but containing a wicked look in their eyes, while the others didn’t even have eyes or limbs at all. Even in the dark lighting, you could see all their gazes were locked on you like the star of a show.
Heart racing, you struggled to breath. Your throat closed up in fear, leaving you heaving gasps of air that choked you every once in a while. Instinctively, you wanted to scream for help, cry, or sob at the complete helplessness that overcame you, but soon it was all too much for even that.
How do I get out of this? You flinched away when the pink, lumpy monster slithered closer to inspect you, one of the many two-fingered “arms” on its head reaching down to brush a hair from your face. It left a trail of clear slime in its wake. Oh God, please help me. Someone please!
Swallowing a gag, you purse your lips and let out a small whimper, loud enough to have the crowd before you laughing. A tear, just one, slipped from your eye, trailing down your cheek and dripping into the rancid puddle below you.
You wanted to hug yourself, shove the hood of your sweatshirt over your head and curl in on yourself until you disappeared from the Earth, but that wouldn’t happen. No; sadly, this was reality. Human-sized cockroaches, five-headed serpents, and gorillas loaded with the horns of wild boars and young bucks all chattered loudly enough around you to slap you in the face with the truth.
Hopeless, alone, and afraid. Were they going to kill you? Was this really how you were going to die? Surrounded by these beasts, drooling with what must have been an eagerness to swallow you whole? Your entire body trembled at the thought.
“Help,” you whispered, head dropping far enough that your chin met your chest. “Dear God, someone help me, please.” You sounded broken, so broken. The dark layout combined with the stench of human feces burned your eyes. You’d never been so willing to just pass out in your life.
“Gyoro Gyoro, did you find the girl?” The question sounded more like a command, but the baritone it was delivered in made your blood freeze. Stomps thunderous enough to tremor the concrete digging into your skin left you gasping for air, hyperventilating at the owner of it all.
Oh fuck, oh God, oh shit. Please! Why me?!
Tears fell at a faster rate as you danced around the edges of a panic attack, seizing up at the giant that entered the room. The flickering lights of the sewer were immediately blocked out by the colossus that entered, instead leaving it black with shadows. Its skin appeared maroon and thick, rough like a crocodile with hands and feet that ended in sharp talons. You were barely half the size of the claw on its pinkie toe, like the monstrosity could snort you up a nostril and not even choke.
Fear clamped onto your stomach, seizing your heart and setting your entire body into a cold sweat. Liquid fell down your brow and soaked into the collar of your hoodie with ease, making your entire body slick and unbearably hot. What. The. Hell.
How could such a creature have been made?
“I do, sir.” The pink slug still standing in front of you turned to the monster, which, judging by how the others instantly stood to attention, was the leader of some sorts.
You understood why.
“So where is he, then? That human you so desperately wanted?”
“He should be here soon, my lord. No doubt, he will notice her absence and understand we are serious.”
Head still reeling with the shock of seeing such a herculean-sized titan, you could barely understand their words. “Him”? Who were they talking about?
Your palms began to clam behind your back, and your fingers and toes began to go numb with little blood. You were used to the horrid odors by now, but every time your mouth opened a bit too wide with a panicked gasp, you gagged on the thick smoke wafting in the room.
You were shivering, not only from your sweat drying but also from how truly alone you felt. This was not how you wanted to die. You wanted to be surrounded by family and friends, maybe with the aroma of farewell flowers at your bedside. Instead, you were almost positive this was how it would all end, human feces soaked into your clothing while surrounded by Earth’s living mistakes.
Please, you clench your eyes shut and shudder out a sob, I don’t want to die.
A flexible surface, slick with ooze and mushy like old jello, forces your chin up to meet the eye of “Gyoro Gyoro.”
“Humans like you are so weak. They cry so easily, even at the slightest touch.”
“Please don’t hurt me.” You’d never heard your voice crack like that, like it had crawled its own way out of your throat.
The monster lets out a humored chuckle, releasing your chin and instead dragging its appendages down your face once more.
“Hurt you?” it mocks teasingly, “No, no, no. We wouldn’t do that. If anything, I could call you ‘insurance.’ You see, little human, we only brought you here to lure in a friend of ours. No doubt he’s dying to see you.”
A scream echoes from within one of the many forking paths of the sewer system, pained and tortured. It cuts off with a loud crack.
“Ooh, sounds like he’s here. Sit tight, my dear weakling!”
As if you could go anywhere else. The scream was not even the slightest bit reassuring, and neither was being called “insurance.” Obviously, the person (or thing) just down that tunnel was the reason you were brought here in the first place, but that didn’t necessarily mean they were your savior. Please, please want to save me. I don’t want to be here anymore.
That first scream led to a second, then a third, then a fourth, all the way until you gave up counting, which was right around when the new arrival to the party shouted. “WHERE IS SHE?!”
Gyoro Gyoro glanced to the side lazily, slumping his way towards where the voice was coming. But just before he could speak, you piped up without warning.
“HELP ME!”
A slime-coated limb slapped you across the face hard enough to stun you into silence. Pain lit up your right cheek and made your eyes water. Evidently, calling out to the person, audibly a man, coming to save you was not permitted.
But the damage had already been done.
It’s silent for a breath. You can hear the sharp inhale of the man searching for you from deep within the faraway tunnel as he listens to your call. Then the real horror begins.
From where you knelt, you could only see shadows that must have been a hundred or so feet away battling it out. The monsters versus whomever your new hope was. You were perched just that far away from the entryway of the tunnel, like a trophy on display, but that made you just that much more vulnerable to the brutal sounds of a massacre.
The sounds were less than pleasant, leaving you wishing you could cover your ears. Blood splattered, mixing together with sewage water as bones cracked and dead monsters squealed their last breaths. If your eyes were open, you were sure to see nothing all too pretty.
Howls of pain combined with animalistic growls of “how dare you touch her” and “nobody takes what’s mine.” And finally, your champion surfaced from the hall.
Where you thought monsters in their original form were bad, their guts hanging off the human before you was worse.
The man who had come for you had broad, muscular shoulders, the right torn open with a bloody gash while the left had an enemy’s dripping intestines draped over it. He might’ve been a ginger originally, or maybe he had blond hair, or white. Right now, you sure as hell couldn’t tell. Hot blood seeped down from the orange-tinted strands into his own eye, coloring the sclera a bright red. Veins ran and popped over every muscle of his bare upper body, while the simple, white sweatpants he wore were also soaked maroon.
His eyes locked on you the instant he emerged. He took in how you shivered, the tear stains on your face, the red mark on your cheek, the utter terror in your eyes. The sight of it all you were sure wasn’t a treat. But for the man before you? Well…
He went berserk.
After every movement he made trailed a shimmering line of cyan, but that’s all you could follow. Like a bullet, he moved too fast for the naked eye, pouncing back and forth around the open colosseum of monsters. In his wake, he left a gory mass of carnage. Limbs from every animal and bug you could think of still twitched with life, freshly detached from their owners, who didn’t even get a chance to scream. Roars of anger from the man flooded the room as he latched onto one mutated beast after another, tearing them entrails from raw entrails.
You wouldn’t be able to get those cries out of your head for months, and for once in your life, you pitied monsters. After all, who would want to be ripped to shreds like a rat in a cat’s paws? For once in your life, you finally saw monsters as prey.
Gyoro Gyoro and his lord had obviously gone barking up the wrong tree.
“You touched her.” Tear. “You laid your disgusting hands on her.” Rip. “You made her cry.” Splat.
Liquid spattered onto your face, oozing it’s way down your temples and along your jaw. You didn’t need a mirror to know it was red.
“Is this what you wanted?” Finally, all of the butchery was silenced, not even a groan slicing through the air. “When you stole her. Is this what you expected?”
“Garou-” Gyoro Gyoro’s voice broke off in a sputtered cough. “-look how strong you’ve become. We thought-” cough “-we knew you had the potential. And look how much you’ve grown, just by having her.”
A bitter snicker, obviously from the true beast. The true monster. “You were right. You were right about one thing only. She does make me stronger.” Crack. “But you didn’t need to steal her from me to figure that out.” Slump.
A quiet that somehow felt more suffocating than the previous screams filled the hot room. Through it, you could hear monsters still gurgling on their own guts. Wheezes of last breaths. Death surrounded you, and it’s cause?
He wrapped you up in a hug.
Little chunks of innards stuck from his body onto your sweatshirt, clinging to the fabric like glue had placed them there. His face was warm and slick against the crook of your neck while his hands wound around your waist, forcing your chest flush against his.
“Are you okay?” Even after all that bloodshed, his voice now sounded… loving. Adoring, cherishing, caring, kind. Right now, he sounded like a worried boyfriend after his girlfriend tripped. This situation wasn’t even close, and had no reason for him to sound so calm.
“Who…” you raised your chin from his shoulder, but with your arms still trapped behind your back, you couldn’t push him away. “Who are you?”
His face buried deeper into your shoulder, and his grip on your body grew firmer. “YN, I’ve… I’ve liked you for a long time. It’s not creepy, I swear! I just- I just liked watching you and making sure you were okay. Somewhere along the way, I think I fell in love.”
The man before you, hugging you with all the strength in his body, kissing your skin like he’d done it before, confessing his love like it’s been long enough, you didn’t know him. Not even the face, nor the body, nor the hungry eyes seemed even the slightest bit familiar.
Minutes passed, feeling like hours. When Garou finally got enough of holding you close, he untied your restraints and lifted your sore body into his arms. Your muscles whined with every movement, and yet you still tried to shove him off you.
“Please, please just let me go,” you pleaded, hands pressing against his chest while you stared into his eyes.
Nothing. No nod, no “okay,” nothing.
Instead, he shook his head and shifted your entire weight to be cradled in one powerful arm. Then his free hand shifted up to your face, where he brushed a long thumb over your cheek. “YN, I know you barely know me. I know that. But Angel, you will come to love me just as much as I love you. It’ll just take some time.”
The tone, so confident yet hopeful. You knew he wouldn’t budge.
So maybe that’s why you cried.
“Please, just take me home.”
“I am, Angel.” He pressed a soft kiss to your forehead, then to your cheeks. A couple on your jaw, one on your nose, then finally he planted his lips on yours.
No. You didn’t want this. Whoever this guy was, capable of massacring a giant the size of a skyscraper and more, you didn’t want him. You didn’t ask for him, or his love, or his unyielding loyalty. You didn’t want his murderous possessiveness, or even his passionate kiss.
You didn’t ask for this. A man obsessed with you, and almost just as obsessed with making you love him.
“I’m taking you to our home now. There, you will grow to love me just as much as I love you.”
But you got him anyway. Or he got you.
