I find short tempered, easily angered characters very funny. But if I actually like them, that's on a separate scale, and Sakura and Bakugo are on the opposite ends.

Sakura lashes out when angry when people are being sexist, sexually harassing her, not taking serious matters seriously, blatantly antagonizing her, and taking her friendship and comradeship for granted.

Bakugo lashes out in actually cruel ways over trivial and pretty matters.

Sakura lashes out as a defense mechanism. Bakugo lashes out as an offensive tactic.

There are times when Sakura is lashing out angrily and its completely unjustified and unhealthy. There are times when Bakugo's righteous anger is the most reasonable response.

Its also interesting how their story arcs are nearly mirrored as well. Sakura starts out weaker than her peers, and her story arc is working from the bottom to be equal to, and then stronger than her peers. Bakugo starts out well beyond his peers, and is learning to accept others becoming equally strong and stronger than him. Sakura is learning confidence. Bakugo is learning humility.

Sakura is meant to be unlikable for being bitchy. But she ended up being a power fantasy for kids who've been mistreated.

Bakugo is cautionary tale about a power fantasy gone wrong. But he ends up being a power fantasy for assholes.

I just don't want my country to be forgotten.

I don't want people to forget that Ukraine, as well as Belarus, never wanted to be with russia, NEVER, and never will. russia is destroying everything dear to me.

I wish to see the days when Ukraine is free, with all the territories, with no russian language, no occupiers, nothing russian. I wish to see the days when people start saying Kyivan Rus and Volodymyr the Great. I wish to see Belarus with their REAL flag and official language and without ANYTHING russian. I wish to see people posting Belaruthian writers and artists and call them Belaruthian, not russian. We are not russian. We will never be russian. But we pay a huge price for that.

I want people in this fandom to understand my hatred, to understand what I feel when I read about, for example, russian occupation of Lithuania and Latvia.

I want people to understand what I feel when I search for articles about anything in Belaruthian, and I find NOTHING. Everything is in russian. I want people to understand what I feel when I hear my former classmate telling me that a russian rocket killed her neighbour.

If my land is gonna be forgotten, it means my family is gonna be forgotten, and I am gonna be forgotten. I don't want to be forgotten.

Kyiv this morning (January the 2nd) was mass shelled by russia with drones and ballistic missiles. I spent all the morning in a storage room that serves as a shelter in my house. Some of the missiles were flying over my head to Kyiv. My friends are saying it was really loud and in some cases debris fell not so far from their homes. There are injured people.

Kharkiv also were under a brutal attack, there are injured and dead.

люди, які називають дії хамаса адекватною відповіддю на десятиліття насильства з боку Ізраїлю, були б першими, які засудили українців за будь-який терористичний акт у бік росії.

якщо ви всі такі моральні, то Україна має моральне право не просто забороняти все російське, а спалювати його до тла. українці мають моральне право різати і вбивати росіян: і не просто за повномасштабку, а за голодомор, червоний терор, розстріляне відродження, тисячі сфабрикованих справ, за які їхніх предків засилали у Сибір, за зруйноване минуле і непевне майбутнє.

як українка, я розумію цю тваринну ненависть, яку можуть мати палестинці до Ізраїлю, і не маю ні бажання, ні права це засуджувати, бо сама протягом останніх майже двох років відчувала, як з мене лізе така чернь, про яку розповідають лише в книжках, але от хто точно не має права моралізувати про насильство, так це Європа. о ні, ви, європейчики, точно не маєте права.

і мене дратує те, що кожна дія, кожне слово будь-якого українця, цивільного чи ні, під мікроскопом у світі. я не маю права на ненависть, оскільки я маю достатньо привілеїв, бо я біла? дякую. привілей бути у постійній небезпеці, привілей кожного дня ховати близьких та незнайомих людей, привілей мати знищенні міста, привілей мати у спадок лише одні травми, привілей мати вкрадене минуле власного ж народу і привілей у будь-який момент втрати свою країну.

ну окей, ми білі, привілейовані і так далі, але чому ви мовчали за Ічкерію і мовчите за Сирію? може тому що вам просто начхати? оце от привілей. справжній блять його привілей мати змогу вибирати за що турбуватись. привілей розглядати воєнні дії, як сцену з бойовика і роздумувати чи морально відправляти боєприпаси.

насправді, ще так багато думок в голові на цю тему, що я не можу скласти це в якійсь один нормальний текст, але хочу закінчити однією.

ви всі 9 років вишукували в 40 мільйонному народі праворадикалів і робили вигляд, ніби це достатня причина не підтримувати українців, але от справжніх радикалів у вигляді Хамасу, який засуджують самі палестинці й закликають не ототожнювати з ними, ви не бачите. то це багато говорить не про нас чи про палестинців, а про вас, розумна, едукована і цивілізована Європа.
