It's going to be the Valley version of a Company Town, complete with digital Pinkertons and your boss also being your landlord.
California Forever is associated with the tech billionaire funded movement ("The Greys") to oust democratically elected politicians and replace them with handpicked technocrats who will "clean up the streets" aka force migrants and the unhoused out of cities and into detention systems where they can serve as basically free compelled labor. Peter Thiel is a big contributor, as is Elon Musk. They write political fanfiction of themselves taking over Cali government extralegally and violently. They are cryptofash in all the ways that matter.
FYI.
On one hand, Fuck Billionaires, but on the other hand, the idea of building a brand new city of 400k people just outside the bay area is fascinating and I kinda want to see how the project progresses
Corollary, the ugliest, most sinister, least practical, most depressing, hardest and most expensive to maintain building on your campus will have invariably won an architecture prize. I submit as proof: The philosophical/humanities faculty and central library of the University of Marburg (yes, the one the hemorragic fever virus is named after), a place I used to study at. Both are ugly, poorly maintained cubes. Both have won architecture prizes.
As a rule, if a University has an architecture program, the architecture building will likely be the most annoying building to navigate, have a unique and over the top look, and feature exposed concrete
Time for tumblr to pull another Goncharov
I’m so sorry babes anytics and marketing don’t get you like I get you 😢
Let's rate these 6 free music players on Android
All of these are good and do play music well, so I will be critiquing on minor things, any will likely work well for you
Last place, VLC
The inability to edit tags really brings it down, it has very unique UI and some things really need to be edited in the settings like the full scan of phone files being on by default gets annoying. But having the queue on the same page as the music control is really nice.
AIMP, It works well, I just hate the vertical UI
Pulsar, it works well but I dislike the UI, such as not showing album art in the songs section
Metro/Retro and Oto Music are tied for 3rd because they have incredibly similar UI, down to both having a home screen, if you choose one it really comes down to minor differences
Musicolet wins, it really wins for me based off how it shows how many times a song has been played in it's most played songs sections, multiple queues and synced lyrics but I think that these are minor things that come down to preference
I live in southern Germany, and a generally milder climate would be nice. We're getting ever more hot, dry summers and unseasonably warm winters, but always with a chance for (late) frosts that knock out more Mediterranean plants. And of late lots of rain, but all bunched up instead of spread out over the summer.
For me it would be wetter summers.
In the south-western corner of British Columbia we have a Mediterranean type climate with warm dry summers and wet cooler winters. The stressful season here for plants is summer and the native plants are adapted for drought but it makes it hard to grow other plants from other areas of the world that are used to wet summers.

This place is not a place of honor… no highly esteemed deed is commemorated here… nothing valued is here.
Kann man dich für die Sankt Severin Kirche in Garching begeistern? Nein? Sonst auch niemand?
Ich nenn sie ja immer liebevoll den Stachel™

I was not aware Genestealers had genders. Thanks, Internet.
there's a rare special kind of girl you can only find adrift in the hulks of ruined spacecraft or long buried tombs or inside sealed canisters with warning signs all over
I don’t know what you envision when you say “building” computers, but the parts are 90% modular, you need to keep an eye on compatibility and composition but it’s basically LEGO technic for grownups. And fucking up and reconfiguring and learning what to look out for is part of the process.
Looking down on people for buying a ‘pre-built’ computer rather than building one is the same as looking down on someone for buying a store bought cake rather than baking one. It doesn’t matter. Cake is cake. Computer is computer.
