dreamed that me and two girls that I went to middle school with were recording a song, reading the lyrics from a dark blue book with glowing white letters. don't remember the lyrics.
dreamed that there was a huge block party going on in my neighborhood, with tents set up all over and one of those janky ferris wheels. I decided that I wanted a milkshake and a burger. Every restaurant that I went to was getting held up by a delusional man with a shotgun. Every single one. Same guy, too. I'd leave and go to the next restaurant and he'd have moved on to hold that store up. I just really wanted a milkshake.
Part of some sort of giant videogame world. Built like one of those marble tunnel toys. Riding the marble down a spiral slide. Giant monster crushing the marble tunnel world. Water is rising faster.
I keep sleeping through the curtains falling out of the window frame and on top of me.

how dare you judge me in my own home, on my own internet connection.
which we both pay for.
This is where the magic happens. Easel, clamp light, many paints, many brushes, coffee, dragon figurine, and laptop set to a constant stream of horror films.

Second study, using heavy body acrylics this time.
So far I like the opacity, but I prefer how smooth the open acrylics feel and that they stay wet on the palette for longer.
I’m trying to move away from my natural inclination towards fussy details and get more of the big strokes that you see in Uglow, Saville, and Freud.
Debuted this @shortrunseattle and now it’s up for sale in my etsy
"Emet" is a short story about a woman and a Golem -- $10, plus shipping 5.5 x 8.5, 12 pages, full color choose media shipping and save money!
I hope to post something about the awesome time I had at Short Run, but it might be a little while because I have about three grad school assignments I’m working on. Also there’s an election tomorrow and I will either be drowning my sorrows or celebrating having dodged the Apocalypse.

So I'm a huge nerd and I made a huge playlist of songs that give me feels about being transgender and queer. I take my playlists very seriously and put a ridiculous amount of time and effort into choosing and arranging the songs.
Warning -- some of these songs contain lyrics that have sexual content, violent content, mentions of sexual abuse, and content that may trigger dysphoria. Also, some of these bands or musicians have done some shitty things, and while I like their work, I don't approve of what they've done (Amanda Palmer, The Sex Pistols, Glen Danzig, Die Antwoord, I'm looking at you).
Listen to it here: Monster Queer
1. Woe to the Man Who is Different - Richard Peaslee (from "Marat/Sade") 2. Sex Changes - The Dresden Dolls 3. Body - Mother Mother 4. Kick Ass - MIKA vs RedOne 5. Respect Me - Khia 6. The Snake &... - Oxbow 13. Smear The Queen - Xiu Xiu 14. We're Not Gonna Take It - The Who 15. I Did It My Way - The Sex Pistols 16. You're Gonna Miss Me - Roky Erickson 17.
