Parasite stares at VICE for a long, long time, before speaking up after a moment.
“That’s a nice way of seeing it.”
“What birdie and spider do you speak of that was hurt?” Their eyes shone as they spoke, perking up a bit.
“Do you have a spider-person too?”
A small blob, the size of a subway rat approaches. It is grey, with a full spectrum of colors dancing over it.
“Hello. We I have not met another of my kind before. I am VICE.”
— @bluejayandvice
“Salutations, little one!”
Parasite crouched down to Vice, their eyes wide as they examined the symbiote
“Vice, you say? I’m Parasite. It’s a pleasure meeting another!”

can i call u nicknames???? i can’t think of any but ill do some thinking
@wheelbarrowofstagefourcancer
Depends. Most nicknames I’m fine with, I’ve taken all sorts of names that weren’t mine. As long as it isn’t something like “face eater” or “chomper.”
“Unfortunately I have yet to find a permanent host. I had one in the past, but… They are long gone. I’m still searching, though, I will admit, I’ve started to loose some hope along the way. What about your host? How did you find them?”

“Yes! I’ve met a couple others myself, though, admittedly, we are a bit far and few these days. Most of us tend to stay hidden, though. Many of the people here don’t tend to react well to differences.”
Parasite grinned, before their expression got a bit more worried, almost concerned.
“Your kin were killed?”

“Vice, you say? I’m Parasite. It’s a pleasure meeting another!”
Parasite-Alice smiled at them, but this time, it wasn’t forced.
“Thanks, again.”
Parasite knew that there would be a long way to go before they could be considered friends, but they would figure it out. It brought them a sense of comfort too, knowing where they would most likely be this time of day.
“If you need to find me, I’ll usually hang around midtown west or Lincoln square. Though, a fair warning, I may… Look a bit different.”
And with that, Parasite-Alice started to walk away, pausing to turn around and say, “See you later?”
“Hey, you! Spider…”
Parasite Alice paused, trying to regain control of their host’s body again why did they keep on fighting Parasites control why did they pick a host that was so difficult we need a new host soon FIND ONE
“What do you… What’s your opinion on symbiotes? What do you know about them?”
Parasite-Alice leaned up against a fire escape, her expression blank and emotionless.
Gwen froze and pulled her mask back down, spinning on her toes to face the newcomer. She hadn't even realized someone was there. She had to get a grip.
She tried not to seem too out of breath or panicky, but they'd likely be well aware if they'd been there for any time at all. They hadn't mentioned it yet, however.
It took a moment to process their question. She had to get a grip first. There wasn't a clear threat.
"...In theory? They're very interesting," That was flat. Not enough. This was a biology question, she liked biology. "I mean, I don't know a lot. But parasites are always interesting to learn about." She didn't know why this was one of the topics she always hedged on. Realistically, she knew her feelings. But this was one of the things where she had to test the dirt, to find her footing, before she could state her opinion. Especially because she still didn't know this person.
"I don't have anything against them. Certainly not the hosts, they are actively hurt in the exchange," She wrung her hands together. Paused. "I think my interest lands in what is best for the host and what they prefer." That shouldn't have been too far. No matter the harm inflicted on others, the host was a person in the exchange. And yet she found her grimacing as if she'd stated the most controversial opinion in the world. It was stupid.
"Uh, may I ask who you are? And what your opinion is?"
Parasite stepped into the room, blinking rapidly as their eyes adjusted to the light.
Their eyes were narrowed as their gaze darted around the room, eventually landing on Peter. They glanced between him and the test tube he held, and tilted their head to the side as they recognized the substance as one of its own, a symbiote.
Eventually, they spoke up. “Spider-creature? What are you doing?”
Parasite didn’t even bother to hide in their true form as it moved closer to him (it was too tired to mask their true self at the moment anyways, they just had to hope that this particular spider-person wouldn’t be too disturbed by their appearance).

TW// blood, ethical wrongs
—-
Peter was sitting at a work bench in a lab that looks like it’d seen better days. The lights above were flickering madly, giving an eerie presence to the surrounding equipment. Various vials and chemical compounds sat idly on shelves and the several other tables.
One of them stood out though. It was moving. Yeah, moving. It sat next to a normal vial of blood that seemed to be sparking a small bit. “C’mon Pete…” he mumbled as he pushed the chair back. “C’mon.”
He stalked towards the two vials and tilted his head. Moving. It was living. The vial was a tube of Eddie Brock and Venom’s combined blood— it’s what had created carnage. Eddie and Peter had come up with this together— a potential life saving procedure— and now Pete was carrying it out. Or he was going to try to.
He was on two different sides. On one hand? He could potentially save lives, help the world for the greater good, and all it would take was a little bit of blood sequencing. On the other? This was living. It was alive. It couldn’t live on its own, but Peter was keeping it alive and healthy in the cold tube.
He swallowed thickly as he picked it up and twisted it in his fingers. “C’mon. Just don’t mess it up this time. Don’t mess it up like you did with yours… don’t… don’t screw it up, Pete. Then it’ll be humane, right?”
He realized he was… shaking. He set the vial down and moved back to his desk. He slumped down and sighed heavily. “Fuck.” Humanity. Inhumane. Ethics. All of those damn rules.. what would Mr. Stark say?

“Hm… Alright. Simple enough”
A moment of silence, before they spoke up again.
“I think I can restrain myself from eating people inside the house. I’ve been mostly selecting bad people to feed on anyways, so there shouldn’t be much of a change.”
*Wheelie skips over to the spot that Parasite said and he looks around.*
Heyyyy, I’m here!
*He’s wearing a bright pink unicorn hoodie and pink cargo pants so he shouldn’t be too hard to spot.*

Parasite drops from the tree, letting go of the ant they had temporarily grabbed onto.
“Hey! Over here!”
The small alien moved closer, looking up at them.
