Relativity Falls is the “swankiest” au ever. I’m in love with it. I like playing with the idea of the sibling brothers being there in place of Gideon.

They use a magic magnifying glass to help them solve mysteries (they have a magnifying glass in Lost Legends so I slapped some magic on it). I call it...

The Magicfying Glass

It will show the user the clues or item they are looking for. Example, if they were looking for the weapon, looking through the glass would make it appear to glow. Like that triangle thingy in coraline. Stanford meets them during an alternate version of Head Hunters. They show up at the crime scene and Blubs and Durland insist that the Sibling Brothers are the better mystery solvers. Stanley and Stanford take that personally. Mostly Stanford. How dare they insult his detective skills?

(Btw this is just me trying to shorten what happens as much as possible with some dialogue in between, it’s not a fic. I don’t write like this I swear 😭, maybe I’ll write an actual one later)

So basically Stanford and Stanley split up during their investigation in town and Stanford runs into the Siblings and they see that Ford has one of the Journals. They instantly use flattery to gain Ford’s trust. Ford is mostly excited because he thinks they want to be his friends. They tell Stanford that the three of them can become the town’s greatest mystery team and they’ll share the credit of solving the murder of Wax Mabel.

“The three of us? What about Stanley?”

“Eh- yes, yes. Him, too. Whatever.”

“With your fascinating journal, our detective skills, and Stanley’s....Well, there won’t be a single mystery we can’t solve!”

He wishes they hadn’t seen the journal but it seemed like it was working in his favor, so what’s the harm in sharing with two fellow mystery lovers? Ford excitedly tells his twin about the alliance when they meet back up. However, Stanley is suspicious of them because just a few hours ago, they were being pretentious jerks and suddenly they’re all buddy-buddy with Ford. He tells Stanford about his suspicions in overly-confident Stanley fashion, but Stanford’s insecurity about his difficulty making friends creates a barrier. He accuses Stanley of being jealous. Which...is partly true, but THATS NOT THE POINT.

The Sibling Brothers secretly plan to steal Stanford’s Journal and use its’ secrets to solve the murder because the magicfying glass only takes them so far. The two brothers plan to take all the credit once they crack the case because they’re jerks. Who knows what other amazing things they can do with TWO of the authors Journals?

Stanley swears the Sibling brothers are up to something. He also notices how closely they hold on to that magicfying glass. They refuse to even let Ford use it. As a petty revenge scheme, Stanley steals it from them and replaces it with Stanford’s. He takes a peek through it and triumphantly tells Stanford that he KNEW that the Sibling Brothers weren’t being honest. Stanford scolds Stanley for stealing from their new friends.

“Eh...YOUR new friends. I dunno what they’re sayin most of the time.”

They follow the glass back to the wax room. *insert wax fight with stupid puns*

The Sibling jerks run back to the Shack when they realize their magicfying glass was replaced by a knock-off and are also surprised when they see the mess of wax, as well as Stanford proudly telling them that he and Stanley solved the case.

“Your stupid brother stole our magicfying glass! This one is just a fake that has “Suckers!” written in marker where the runes should be!”

Stanford tries to ease the situation, saying they can still all share credit and that the magicfying glass is actually a very useful tool! Out of frustration, they reveal the truth about their selfish plans, Stanford is shocked and hurt. Stanley is relieved that his anger was justified and now it’s even more justified and he’s even angrier.

“Give us the glass or we’ll tell EVERYONE that you did the murder! It’s our word against yours and they’ll never believe a six-fingered weirdo and your trouble making twin!”

Stanford holds Stanley back and contemplates giving it to them, but decides that throwing it in the fireplace would be much more satisfying. He’s not above sweet revenge.

“Stanley and I are used to being targets, destroying a wax figure isn’t even the worst thing we’ve ever been blamed for! So, go ahead! You’re both helpless without the magicfying glass! The wax murder will be the last case you two jerks will ever solve!”

Stanley is tearing up, he’s so proud. The Sibling Brothers shriek as the magicfying glass burns and vow to get revenge on the Pines twins. The buzz about the twins being wax murderers doesn’t last long. Turns out no one except Grauntie Mabel cared very much about the murder. Stanford apologizes to Stanley for lashing out at him, but Stanley admits he could have been less of a jerk about it. He gives Stanford something wrapped in paper and Stanford opens it to reveal the Magicfying glass, it’s burned around the edges and there is a small crack in the glass, but Stanley promises he tested it and that it’s Stanley Pines Approved.

Anyway, the haunting proceeds as normal.

It’s gonna be a long one.

Stanley, Fiddleford, Carla, and Stanford are lounging about the living room when news about the Northwest Manor party is announced. Stanley and Stanford aren’t too impressed with the idea, but Fiddleford and Carla both seem quite excited about it. They explain to the twins what it is and just how extravagant it is, Stanley soon joins the excitement when he learns about all the free handouts, but is still unsure about all the stuck up rich people. Stanford stands his ground, saying that Preston Northwest is insufferable. Cue Preston knocking on the door asking for help and Stanford promptly slamming it in his face.

“Wait, Ford! Look, I know you hate Preston. I do, too! I punched him! But look at how excited Fiddleford and Carla are. This would be the best date ever! She’d like- marry me or something if I took her to this party!”

“Stanley, taking her to this party would only skyrocket her standards for your dates. The bar isn’t even that high currently and you still have to jump for it.”

“Yeah, yeah! It’s not just for Carla, though! Fidds would probably have a blast exploring with you when you’re done with your ghost thing!”

When Stanford peeks back into the living room, Fiddleford and Carla are chanting “Dreams! Dreams! Dreams!” with excitement and Ford let’s put a heavy sigh.

“Alright.” He smiles.

Stanford is able to squeeze 3 extra tickets from Preston and they celebrate by screaming at a volume that makes Mabel wonder if they are being murdered, not that she checks.

At the party, Preston introduces Ford to his parents when they catch a glimpse at the twins. Stanley is wearing a dress shirt rolled up to his elbows over his regular T-shirt and Stanford is in his usual clothes. Preston is ordered to make them change. Stanley goes out of his way to pick a blindingly white suit knowing that even one stain will guarantee him ownership over it. Stanford picks a blue tux, it’s definitely not practical for his line of work. He’s sure it will tear at some point or another by the end of the night.

“Well, have fun on your date, Stan.” Ford huffs when Preston impatiently insists they head to the problem room.

“Oh...yeah...my date...see, well, I...I haven’t asked Carla yet.”

“What- but we’re here already. You know you’re supposed ask beforehand right?”

“Of course I do! But when I tried to ask, we made eye contact and...and I dunno, I got...shy.” Stanley mumbles, looking at his feet.

“Then ask her now...or ask her to dance. Tell me how it goes, okay?” Stanford shouts as he is ushered away by Preston.

Carla and Fiddleford are stuck at the guest book, looking over and teasing the many billionaires who were invited. Stanley takes a deep breath and as he begins his walk towards his friends, he is cut in front of by another boy. Much to Stanley’s horror, he asks Carla if she wants to dance. She says no, to Stanley’s relief but then another boy swoops in cutting in front of Stanley! He huffs, feeling discouraged and decides to wait it out by getting lost in the cheese fountain. Little to his knowledge, Carla says no to each boy, peering to Stanley every once in a while, hoping for him to come over. Fiddleford is extremely unimpressed with Stanley’s inaction.

“Yinno, Stanley, she wants to dance with you.”

“No she doesn’t, she’s talkin to all those boys.” He grumbles.

“She’s rejecting all those boys. All those stupidly rich high class boys.”

“What? Huh, I wouldn’t.” Stanley laughs. Fiddleford nudges Stanley with his elbow.

“Don’t make her wait too long, Stanley. She’s not gonna wait forever.” He points out as he strides back to Carla. Stanley shoves a spoonful of cheese into his mouth.

Meanwhile, Stanford and Preston are having less fun than the townsfolk waiting outside. Ford is unsure about what the best course of action should be for a spirit as vengeful and powerful as this large fiery lumberjack. As he and Preston run from the ghost, they discover the hidden room where Ford fortunately discovers the silver mirror. Stanford wants to celebrate shortly with Preston when the ghost is caught but Preston seems in a rush to leave the hidden room. Outside the manor, the ghost reveals the truth about the curse on the Northwest’s and Stanford is immediately enraged. Inside, Stanford confronts the Northwest’s about the truth.

“You’re no better than your parents, Preston.” Stanford glares. Preston momentarily loses his composure, but recovers quickly. Ford wasn’t expecting much of a reaction, but he wasn’t expecting to be even more disappointed by Prestons response.

“Yes, well, no matter how horrible you think I am, as a Northwest, I will always be better than you.”

Stanford briefly considers shattering the mirror, but simply sighs as he walks away defeated. Preston his patted on his back by his father, but watches Ford walk away with regret. Outside, the lumberjack convinces Stanford to hold the mirror to the forest and uses his flames to make him drop and break the mirror.

“Oh, great.”

Carla is surprised she can bored at the best party in the world. It would be a lot more fun if Stanley would talk to her. Every time they make eye contact from across the room he either turns away or runs to the snack table. Frustrated, she huffs and pushes her way through the line of suitors that have blocked her view of her friend. Stanley sees her coming and freezes like a deer in headlights. She’s so scary when she’s mad, but in a way that makes Stan blush.

“H-h-hey! Hi! Y-you come here often?” He winks.

“Stanley, you have cheese on your face.” She says and he quickly wipes away at his face.

“Yes.”

“Stan, why have you been avoiding me? I thought we came here together but you’re more interested in the snack table than me! Is it me? You don’t wanna hang out with me?” She shouts, causing a small scene.

“Wh-what? No! Carla! I...I just thought...” Stanley let’s out a sigh, “Look, I was gonna ask you to be my date before we got here, but I got scared. Then, I was gonna ask ya to dance earlier but all these boys started talking to ya. I thought maybe...you’d like to dance with some prince than...well, a stupid boy with cheese on his face.” He confesses. Before Carla can respond, the hall breaks into chaos with plates and furniture flying over everyone’s head.

“Oh! Dangit, Stanford! I stayed in the hall to avoid the paranormal activity! This is why we can’t have nice things, Ford!” Fiddleford shouts, ducking as a several plates fly pass his head.

Soon, the curse begins to take hold as the people in the hall begin to turn to wood. Stanford is distressed to see his friends and brother stuck in the positions they were last holding before the woodsman struck them with the curse. He immediately begs the Northwest’s to open the gates, telling Preston that he can still fix everything. Stanford is struck and is turned into a wood statue and Preston is left to decide the fate of his family. He is conflicted, knowing his hard earned trust will be lost completely with one action. He opens the gates anyways and the party guests spring back to life, gasping for air.

As the townsfolk flood the manor, Stanford gives Preston his friendly nudge.

“You did good, Preston.” He smiles.

“I know. These....people likely will be locked out next year, but...maybe that won’t be the case when I inherit the family fortune.” He shrugs as he walks back to his parents.

Stanford goes to find Fiddleford and does his best to calm him down, inviting him to explore the mansion only to be turned down. Fiddleford doesn’t want to run the risk of running into another ghost. Stanford opts for them to drown in the cider fountain instead and Fiddleford agrees happily. Meanwhile, Carla and Stanley are standing awkwardly side by side in the same place they had been since they were turned to wood.

“Wow, uh, we..uh...almost died.” Stanley bursts out.

“Yeaaahhh...we did.” Carla nods, looking away.

Stanley awkwardly and slowly reaches for her hand. “Do...you, uhm, do you..wanna dance?”

“Yeaaahhh...I do.” She says looking up at him and they both burst into giggles.

The four of them enjoy the rest of the party dancing, eating, and drawing on the occasional portrait. There is still more to come, however.

1-strickler puede llegar a ser una persona socialmente torpe se ha pasado la mayoria de su vida mintiendo y engañando sin crear ninguna amistad verdadera entonces cuando finalmente intenta tener amistades reales puede llegar a tropezar con sus palabras o divagar sobre algun u otro hecho historico Inexacto

2- los profesores de Arcadia oaks son amigos realmente me gusta la idea asi que si. Uno de mis headcannons es que Strickler, Coach Lawrence, Señor Uhl y lenora Janeth son amigos aunque probablemente strickler no admitira en voz alta que los considera sus amigos

3- la primera vez que el corazón de Walter empezo a latir mas rapido por Barbara este creyo que se estaba muriendo

4- a strickler le gusta el rock británico por lo cual tiene en su departamento discos de vinilo de Queen, The Beatles, The Rolling Stone y Pink Floyd

5- siguiendo el tema de lo británico strickler ama su acento británico y se niega a perderlo, esto empeoro luego de que Barbara le dijiera que le gustaba su acento

6- si bien strickler ama los libros sobre historia tiene una gran colección de libros de misterio, fantasia y ciencia ficción y se ha leido toda la colección de Percy Jackson

7- nomura, otto y strickler solían ser enviados juntos a misiones bastante seguido de alguna manera se las arreglaron para trabajar bien como equipo también se las arreglaron para que muchos de los autos de strickler termimaran cayendo por acantilados

8- existe una piedra que puede convertir a los cambiantes en humanos aunque estos seguiran siendo algo mejores que un humano normal con esto me refiero a que siguen teniendo mejores reflejos son algo mas rapidos que un humano normal pero ya no tan rapidos como un troll y considerablemente mas fuertes que un humana normal este headcannon en especifico fue hecho para respaldar al headcannon numero 9

9- a Coach Lawrence le gusta que sus compañeros de trabajo esten en forma por lo cual durante las vacaciones de verano a veces los lleva al gimnasio de la escuela y les hace hacer los mismos ejercicios que a los estudientes Walter solia evitar esto argumentando que ya estaba muy viejo pero desde que se revelo que es un cambiante, Lawrence le obliga a hacer el doble que a Uhl y miss Janeth. Se que este no tiene mucho sentido pero la idea aparecio en mi mente y no pude evitar reirme de esto

11- las pupilas de strickler pueden dilatarse como las de un gato esto también le puede suceder en su forma humana entonces un dia barbara vio a strickler quien tenia su pupilas dilatas y creyo que este estaba drogado

Universos alternativos

1- strickler es un mago pero su magia solo despierta cuando esta cerca de la armadura del trollhunter por primera vez luego de eso vienen muchas situaciones caoticas hasta que se topa por accidente con jim y toby y se ve atrapado en todo el asunto de que su alumno favorito es el trollhunter

2- DID strickler si pense en este AU en el que strickler tiene un transtorno de personalidad dissociativo asi que mientras un alter es Walter quien es el humano y profesor de historia el otro es stricklander quien es el troll, Walter realmente esta enamorado de barbara de un principio y stricklander esta decidido a matar a jim asi que ambos suelen pelear bastante seguido por el control Walter sabiendo de la existencia de los trolls pero siendo totalmente ajeno a lo que esta haciendo stricklander aun asi cuando se entera de que stricklander planea matar a jim este trata de impedirlo lo que lo lleva a sufrir constantes dolores de cabeza y a tener peleas constantes por el control del cuerpo (Gaggeltacks también obligan a stricklander a tomar control del cuerpo)

3- este esta fuertemente influenciado por un fanart de Daredevil asi que strickler es ciego su ceguera fue causada por bular luego de que strickler fallara en una mision pero gracias a que es un cambiante su ceguera no le afecta mucho ademas del ambito de no poder leer aun asi da clases de historia con normalidad dejo de serle leal a bular luego de que este lo ceguera asi que no esta interesado en abrir el puente de killahead sigue perteneciendo a la orden de janus pero eso solo es debido a que prefiere no morir, cuando se entera de que jim es el trollhunter decide unirse a el siendo consciente de que de esa manera existen mas posibilidades de que los cambiantes sean aceptados, tambien se enamora de barbara

4- básicamente este es en pocas palabras un au de esos en que los niños son adultos y los adultos son niños y a continuación explicare con quien cambia lugar cada personaje jim cambia de lugar con strickler asi que jim es un cambiante y strickler es el trollhunter, barbara cambia de lugar con claire asi que barbara toma el lugar de claire en la serie pero no claire no sera la madre strickler porque para empezar en este AU strickler es huérfano, coach Lawrence cambia de lugar con toby pense en que otto cambiara de lugar con toby pero siento que otto seria igual de leal que peter Pettigrew a los potter asi que lawrence es el mejor amigo de strickler, eli pepperjack cambia de lugar con lenora janeth, Señor Uhl cambia de lugar con steve pero no puedo imaginarme a ninguno de los profesores siendo un maton asi que no habra bully por ahora
