Was actually the first in the marauders to be punk. Remus insists that he was the one who introduced punk to everyone but Marlene just sits there glaring at him because she knows she’s always been way more punk than this nerd.

At thirteen she was the one who strutted around with black nail varnish and oversized band t-shirts. Punk women owned her entire heart.

Cut her hair short once and wore a boys’ uniform because she was feeling ✨masculine✨ one year. Every single one of her friends experienced gay panic.

They decide to go by all pronouns bc gender doesn’t mean shit to them. They still identify as a lesbian though: he/she/they butch lesbian Marlene.

She can sing but her voice is a little husky from all the cigarettes she smokes. This actually makes her sound even hotter, at least in Dorcas’s eyes.

They were Lily’s queer awakening and the two definitely made out more than once before Marlene got together with Dorcas.

She loves horror movies. And I mean loves them. They are her favourite genre and she absolutely loves the aesthetic of “hot person with blood splattered all over them”. Rip Marlene McKinnon you would have loved Heathers.

Fuck it, one year Marlene just straight up looks like Matthew Lillard in the first Scream movie lol.

Okay if anyone has read About a Boy (and I mean read the book not watched the film) she has almost the exact vibes of the character Ellie McCrae. No more needs to be said.

Sirius’s motorcycle did not in fact belong to him at first. It belonged to Marlene who was literally so careless that Dorcas begged her to give it up out of fear of Marlene’s own safety.

Marlene has dyslexia and her and James bonded over not being able to fucking read quickly and hating their homework (James has ADHD). They both set up a little study group where they helped each other and figured out different ways to make reading and writing easier for themselves, even if that meant just being there to support each other.

Marlene definitely wears a shirt that says dyke on it.

Pandora Rosier had always loved Regulus Black. Was always going to love him.

It was a fact, woven into the very fabric of the universe. Written into the same stars they had spent so many nights looking at together, back when life had been simpler.

I adore the trans regulus headcannon and it’s something that brings me so much comfort, but I feel that we always just say he cuts his hair and wears stereotypical boys clothes and suddenly he passes completely, and I just feel as though we should sometimes delve much deeper into him NOT passing, and how that affects the way he lives life, because not everyone’s trans journeys are the same, and not everyone passes, and yet in things like fanfics and stories the trans characters pass even though that’s not true to the experiences of lots of trans people, and although I don’t know if other non passing trans people feel like this, it makes me feel like I’m less or not valid because people wouldn’t look at me and think that I was a boy.
