(Btw I lived in the neighborhood and it was standard  for me to walk home so, she made my mom panic about why I wasn’t home and then had the gall to be ‘inconvenienced’ by my mother being ‘late’ to pick me up, even though I told her I lived around the corner from the school.) She asked my mother right in front of me if I was being treated for a brain tumor. which of course gave me a panic attack because even though I was young, my dad was a nurse, so I knew what ‘tumor’ meant. Thanks Mrs. Dean. You should’ve retired ten years before I was born, you decrepit fossil.
