If you are gonna do an art/fanfic with your OC, PLEASE don't put on the tag x reader

It's extremely annoying to see any OC stuff into x reader stuff.

The Reader is supposed to be neutral, as it involves several types of people. if you need to have some specific part of the appearance for an important plot then you can add something.

Now your OC is going to have specific traits, such as backstory and appearance.

No backstory (only for plot and history building then you can add of course) + no specific appearance = Reader

Backstory + specific appearance = OC.

I know you want some recognition but please consider us readers.

It's so tiring to see an author who do that and won't stop, I saw some of these situations and I thought they made a mistake, but they kept doing it over and over again. I had to block some of these people.

after replaying a thousand times to confirm every word, cross referencing and asking my japanese friend specifications (because some words in japanese that are in the dictionary just. dont exist in english in some cases) THIS is i think the closest i could get to a near perfect dictionary, if you wanna try it and you find anything odd feel free to tell me since i'm using it along with the jpn dictionary as a base for the mod i'm making. i tried to explain any that were confusing but tbh playing this game on english is truly hard mode lol! And yes! Some words are redundant, it's a japanese translation issue, i tried to give them nuance?? Both honestly some words are so simmilar it may as well be the same in english..

'resident' is their specie, it's the fan given name so i used it

'Somebody' refers to a living being, a presence, it can be of any specie, it's broad

'Weak' is moreso untalented (to be bad at something)

'Frail(weak)' is more like vulnerable, physically weak/brittle, subject to damage

'Affliction' is because it can be disease or a curse, something that eats away at the health/body/mind, that needs to be 'cured'

'Incapacitate' is something like 'weaken', to make someone unable to hurt or move for example, or to lower their autonomy

'Like' can also be 'love', japanese doesn't really differenciate

'Different' is also 'wrong', they're the same word, it's confusing ik but essentially think of it as 'it's a different answer', sort of a more gentle version of 'you're wrong' . Again this is a jpn/english issue thing..

'I understand' and 'i will do it' are also rlly a japanese thing. Both sort of mean in a way 'i understand and am acknowledging what you said' ... but this is the closest me and my jpn friend could settle on.

'Hit' and 'knock' are the same. In japanese you say 'hit a door' more than 'knock a door'. That's why they're used interchangeably

'Distressed' is sort of like 'in trouble' , in need of help

All the verbs are placed in neutral forms (ex: to search, to find, to go, to lead, to want, etc)

THERE IS A CANON DICTIONARY. It's in the game code and it's in jpn. This is just my personal approximation.

The wrong thing is not the fact that you write a story with an oc, no, that's not the real problem, really.

IT'S JUST THE FACT THAT YOU USE THE WRONG TAG SO YOU HOPE MORE PEOPLE READ YOUR STORY. BUT BELIEVE ME IT'S JUST FUCKING ANNOYING 'CAUSE WE AREN'T ABLE TO FIND THE RIGHT FICS IF YOU KEEP DOING THIS!!!

There are people who like to read more stories with ocs than reader inserts, so use the fucking right tag go reach that community and stop spamming your stories among ours.

I don't think you get it but, you know, the purpose of fanfics with reader insert is to make the reader imagine her/himself as the mc of the story. The best part of these fics is the fact that EVERYONE can be included in them.

SO WHY THE FUCK DO YOU HAVE TO RUIN THEM BY MAKING THE MC A PERSON THAT LOOKS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM THE READER AND EVEN HAS A NAME THAT IS NOT THEIRS?

for my Nightmare I would honestly like him being like half corrupted. I think I've seen people draw him like in his original passive form with teal eye or something

But for my design half of his corruption actually affect his whole looks but besides that there's still passive inside. Unfortunately people mistreated him and bully him more because of his looks.

Another headcanon is that whenever he walks he would leave a footprint out of his goop or either drips

And the sad faces though I thought it would also kinda symbolize negative emotion? for the smiling face though I would love to think it would symbolize evils

" you are what you eat" actually made me thinking of Nightmare. He literally become corrupted because he eat the corrupted apple.

He is trying to resist the urg to kill anybody but failed. I was thinking that my version of Nightmare would have voice in his head convincing or telling him him to kill anybody or massacre

And more of this: whenever he came across any dreamtale timeline he would question reality about alot of nightmare and dream fighting each other

Unfortunately Dream in his timeline was dead. Causes are unknown but maybe his brother explored alot of timeline with the star sanses and someone killed him? who knows who?

I'm pretty sure this is kinda canon part :

for his survival I think negative energy are like his source of living not just eating or whatsoever. he need negative emotions so he can live longer! And also increase his strength since he needs something to defend himself.

Without negative energy he would become weaker and weaker and die.

Also gonna mention: Nightmare is a kid here he doesn't know any better due to lack of guidance

I had the same thought of like ford and bills relationship being not a romantic one but more like bad religion like you said at the end.

I can't be the only one who thinks Bill and Ford's relationship was a metaphor for sexual assault?

To elaborate, Bill invaded Ford's body without his consent, made him feel things he didn't want to feel, humiliated him and tortured him.

He didn't just posses Ford for the hell of it, no he relished in it. He loved the feeling of pain it was causing him. He loved the feeling of being in his body, of being Ford. He got off on causing him pain. He wasn't in love with him, he was a pawn, a pet, a dog. He would leave Ford alone for weeks or months, and Ford would sit and wait for his return like a dog waiting for it's master to return from work, not knowing where he went or when he'd be back. Bill was obsessed with Ford, I think in a way he wanted to be him. That he saw Ford in the future and knew that he was both brilliant and naive, that he was highly capable and intelligent but also gullible and had the ego of a God. That he could flatter him, tell him everything he wanted to hear and gain his trust, I think the only reason he called him 'sixer' was because he knew that's what Stanley called him and that Ford, (despite not talking to Stanley anymore) still cared for his brother and associated a positive emotion and feeling of trust with that nickname. Bill never loved Ford. Ford didn't love Bill, he admired him, viewed him as God. He was a god. He told Ford he was a muse, he showed him how vastly powerful yet limited he was. He made Ford feel special, and feeling special was a like a drug to him.

I don't really see it as romantic, if anything it has religious undertones. And Ford is his favorite sacrificial lamb. God told Abraham to kill his son, and of course Abraham loved his son but who was he to question his Lord? What sort of mighty wrath would he face if he objected? He knew that his God could be kind and loving but he was also jealous and vengeful. He did not like it when his followers didn't do what he asked, he could and would punish them severely. So how could Abraham object? What choice did he have? Bill was like God, kind and flattering, giving his pawn what ever they wanted (to feel special) until he has the audacity to question him, then he released an unimaginable wrath against him a punishment like no other.

He made him do things he didn't want, feel things he didn't want to feel. And Ford was powerless to stop him, he could do nothing but stand by and watch it happen.
