Someone just pointed me to your "Vriska’s Return and the Alpha Timeline’s Fate" theory. I have to say it's very interesting, very well researched, and many of its points and premises -- like how Vriska fixing everything is VERY OMINOUS -- all seem like real, valid story factors we should be drawing conclusions from. However, reading the post, there was one glaring omission, one that explains why Vriska's return and "getting the star" is so ominous: What about the Green Sun's destruction???
Wow, thank you! I am incredibly flattered, as I really admire you as a Homestuck theorist! ^_^ (A lot of my own theories are based on yours.)
Anyway, regarding the Green Sun, I wasn’t sure about how to go about handling that. I do think its destruction will happen; your theory makes a lot of sense, and, essentially, I agree with it. Problem is, I couldn’t figure out how to incorporate it into my own theory. So I didn’t include it. It’s definitely something I’d be interested in exploring, though.
1) If John ends up re-retconning Vriskas death and the meteor crew goes through the personal growth that they're supposed to go through, what does that mean for Jade? Wouldnt John and Davesprite still be dead? And John knows that he was responsible for for their deaths so would he try to do something about that? I dont think hed try to retcon their deaths since he'd be weaseling his way out of the deal he made with Typheus and thats sounds like a bad idea
2 fin) (Though John was the one who came up with the idea to zap everyone to where Caliborn was and look how THAT turned out) Do he think he might try bring Jade to where the meteor crew is? Though that will essentially rewrite all the character development the meteor crew went through on their original journey… man this is getting confusing!
I don’t think John is going to mess with the timeline in any drastic way relating to Jade. I’m sure he realizes there would be consequences for interfering, likely own death. So if John retcons the retcon, I think Jade will still be alone in the new timeline, too.
I could see John making small influences, though, such as writing a note of encouragement to her or appearing briefly to say he’s okay. But as far as undoing John and Davesprite’s death or bringing Jade to the meteor, no; that would be interfering too much.
Alone!Jade would really be the main difference between the “fixed” Game Over timeline (when John traveled to “R3UN1ON” to get the ring) and the final Alpha Timeline. Note how there are two Johns at “R3UN1ON”; that probably won’t be the case in the final Alpha.
Of course, it’s possible in the re-retconned timeline, Jade won’t be alone at all, and it’ll play out almost exactly as it did originally. But… eh, that doesn’t seem likely to me. Who knows, though?
This update explains why it required so many genetic codes to create Doc Scratch:
“t1CK t0ck 8r8k H34DS honk HONK”
Six codes, six genetic components! Lil Cal + Caliborn + Gamzee + Equius + Lil Hal + Magic Cue Ball.
As opposed to Bec, who was made from one code (MEOW) and one genetic component (Halley).
Classpect Tests
There are many Hero Title tests available, but the two I like best are thepageofhopes' and inaniloquacity's. Both of them use tests from widely accepted psychology theories as a basis.
While both tests are not without their flaws, they provide a good starting point for determining a Hero Title.
Information
My Classes Chart and Aspect Keywords posts provide a simplified overview of the classes and aspects.
InfinityWhale has an amazing Ultimate Classpect Post describing each aspect and each class in detail.
Dahni has in-depth descriptions of ALL 144 (standard) HERO TITLES! An excellent resource for understanding each mythological role.
Space and Time
Light and Void
Hope and Rage
Heart and Mind
Breath and Blood
Life and Doom
Dahni also describes the tendencies and challenges of each class separately (search her Class tag for detailed information).
BladekindEyewear has a lot of information on classes and aspects, particularly related to duality and inversion. He's basically a father of Classpect Theory, as InfinityWhale, Anna, Dahni, and many others (myself included) base their works on his class- and aspect-related theories.
Suddenly this seems extremely relevant:

Hey, remember that time two Kernelsprites prototyped each other?
Remember how that basically created a black hole that sucked in an entire planet?
Remember that other time two sprites prototyped each other?
ROSESPRITE: I kind of relish the idea of being a "less relevant" party member.
Rose always has gravitated toward Void more than Light.
With all the happiness and fun times happening on the meteor trip, I’d like to point out one thing:
VRISKA: I think I’ve just decided that 8eing surrounded 8y horses might 8e the ultim8 8ad omen. Nothing good can ever follow or precede those circumstances.
I knew it! I totally knew it!
TWO NANNASPRITES! Which means both Jaspers AND Nanna tagged along on LOWAS and survived the retcon. Which makes it even more likely that the other sprites---particularly Davesprite---did too.
Also, Nannasprite seems to be pre-retcon...
NANNASPRITE: Yes, I tended to him and his sister for several years, baked for them, lent a sympathetic ear when needed...
NANNASPRITE: It was quite freeing in a way! I had a wonderful three years on that ship with those lovely children. I thought little of what challenges were ahead.
So the other Nannasprite is post-retcon.
Upon first glance, this passage seems to describe the Beta Kids’ kernelsprites...
...The pre-entry prototypings that evolve the battlefield and affect enemy characteristics.
Now, the passage seems to be alluding to the components that created Bec Noir, who we all know has wreaked havoc across the kids’ and trolls’ sessions and universes.
But what if the passage is referring to something else?
“Maimed clown”...
“Undead cat”...
“Impaled crow”...
(Davepeta is kind of both the Undead Cat and Impaled Crow combined.)
“Omnipotent dog”...
(Notice how even though Bec Noir and PM have all four prototyping elements, they’re only ever referred to as dogs at this point.)
“These four shall be held in reverence for the eternity they serve to cut short.”
What if this passage has yet to come, and is related to the end of Paradox Space?
Gamzee is obvious in his role, and Bec Noir would be no surprise, either. But others, such as Jasprose, Davepeta, and the Mayor (recall his dream) would be really interesting and unexpected.
I’ve been mulling over the Prospit/Derse dreamer distinction and I think it primarily boils down to this:
Prospit dreamers instinctively embrace their calling and their role.
Derse dreamers instinctively resist their calling and role.
What exactly that means and how it manifests itself varies from person to person. (And Space and Time players might be an exception, possibly defaulting to Prospit and Derse, respectively.)
But the distinction makes sense thematically, considering how Prospit and Derse seem to operate.
