Let's take it from the top
u ever see someone with extremely fucked up views (or actions) and think wowww if a couple of things in my life went the tiniest bit differently that would have been me
I used to have public sex all the time. Back in the 90s there was no internet or after school programs for lgbtq kids. We'd go up bull tail holler and on the back side of the reservoir there was a rundown poorly maintained picnic pavilion and playground and that's where all the queers that weren't old enough to go to the one gay bar in the county I lived in would hang out. And it was colloquially called queer holler in fact. It was in the holler right next to the mall so you could just have your parents drop you at the mall or catch the bus if you lived in town. We'd hangout there and have sex and make out and what have you. Every now and then the law would raid it and wouldn't you know the kids and young adults they could round up would be charged with public indecency and contributing to the delinquency of minors because 18 is 18 and other public sex charges. Of course in the process you would be outed to your parents and if you were over 18 you got your name printed in the newspaper in the police blotter which is fun (not really). So yeah I'm all in favor of legalizing public sex. Because though we've came a long way there are still a lot of queer youth who have no where to fuck their partner and being labeled as a sex offender shouldn't be a consequence of doing what millions of cishet teenagers and young adults do all the time.
Wait.... huh?
I am so confused
And they all just have youtube provided descriptions saying they were released oct. 28th, 2023
Is anyone else seeing this stuff?? It seems like they might've done this with the whole blurryface album. But then if you go to their channel they havent uploaded anything since the line.
And I don't remember the exact date, but this seems to be roughly a month after they did the same thing with self titled.
Also dude falling through a hole in the ground?? A reference to no phun intended?? Or am I looking into it too much/wrong?
It is too early in the morning for this
Give a man a horse he’ll eat for a day teach a man to horse and make him drinks water
Having mad artblock rn
using "what were YOU doing at the devils sacrament" to mean "yeah i made an embarrassing reference but you understood it which is also embarrassing" is very funny to me
"I'm tired." Hero speaks in a rough voice, exhausted. "I'm so tired." They repeat like a mantra, a lifeline. One look in their eyes shows that their weariness goes beyond just today's battle.
Villain steps closer, gaze raking up and down Hero's beaten form.
"So stop. Quit this fight and run home, tail tucked between your legs." Villain's tone is amused but not quite judgemental. "I'm sure your higher-ups will understand. Tell them another tale of how brutal I am, how merciless, and beg for their forgiveness like a dog."
Shaking their head, Hero lets out a choked protest. "I'm tired." They speak in a more desperate voice, more insistent. "I'm tired of begging and apologizing. I'm tired of fighting for people who don't care if I live or die."
Hero's eyes have a hungry fire in them now, a look of selfish desire along with the agony. Stepping closer to them, Villain smirks devilishly and offers them a hand.
"So join me."
"Treat them like people" is probably the biggest lesson we learn from the novel when it comes to Wei Wuxian
He is comfortable around spirits and the dead because he treats them with the same respect and gentleness he would any living person.
He is able to get along very well with children and the youth because he treats them with the same kindness and decency he would a grown adult, never looking down on them and instead patiently guiding them to learn things about the world and themselves.
He sympathizes with the Wen remnants' suffering because he's seen firsthand they have not been complicit to the war and has decided to extend to them the same kindness he received, thus treating them like individuals and not a mass representing Wen Ruohan.
No matter how insignificant, unsightly or scary something or someone might be, Wei Wuxian has always granted them respect and showed no disgust or disdain where it was not warranted.
In the future, children will think our ways are strange. "Why do old people always grow so much milkweed in their gardens?" they'll say. "Why do old people always write down when the first bees and butterflies show up? Why do old people hate lawn grass so much? Why do old people like to sit outside and watch bees?"
We will try to explain to them that when we were young, most people's yards were almost entirely short grass with barely any flowers at all, and it was so commonplace to spray poisons to kill insects and weeds that it was feared monarch butterflies and American bumblebees would soon go extinct. We will show them pictures of sidewalks, shops, and houses surrounded by empty grass without any flowers or vegetables and they will stare at them like we stared at pictures of grimy children working in coal mines
I do not possess chickens :( sometimes I write silly stories, other times I don't! let's just see where this goes lol
