Tua s3 spoilers đš!!
So mad at the writers for not bringing in Dave this season. There were so many opportunities where they could've brought him back, even if it was when Klaus was in the afterlife/void. I don't know why they completely ignore this ship, but still gave other characters moments with their past love interest or even brought them back at the end. Overall I loved Klaus storyline this season, but the absence of Dave left a bitter taste and anger towards the writers.
Tone tags are not your punchline.
Tone tags like â/jâ â/srsâ etc are accessibility tools. They help neurodivergent people understand the explicit tone of written text that would otherwise be only implicit and therefore difficult for us to understand. If you use tone tags in a joking or disingenuous manner, youâre not only going to end up confusing a lot of people, but itâs also just plain ableist to make a joke out of an accessibility tool, something that a lot of us rely on to understand and communicate with people online.
Especially considering the whole point of tone tags is for them to be used in the most genuine, accurate manner possible, someone knowingly misusing them just means theyâre doubling down on their ableist disregard for neurodivergent people who might read it.
If you post something somewhere as a joke but end it with a â/srs,â fix it. Delete it. Donât do it again. Tone tags are not your punchline.

Five: No drinking, no gambling, no premarital sex. Klaus, they basically just outlawed 90% of your personality
Klaus: We need to leave
Iâm so happy that a majority of the tua fandom love Viktor Hargreeves. However, seeing the few transphobes that are upset by Viktorâs transition is very funnyâespecially when they argue that itâs âunrealistic.â
My brothers in christ, this show contains children with super powers, time travel, a talking monkey, a half monkey man, a fucking magical CUBE, and so much more. A trans character is quite literally the most realistic part of this show.
One of my professors in my poetry class helped me a ton with not being so hard on myself and the progress I've made in writing. Why? Well, we are always working on it, even if it is all in your head. It doesn't matter if you don't even have any physical proof, you're already creating a masterpiece by just thinking about doing the thing.
Gentle reminder that often creativity decides to hibernate for a bit.
Itâs okay. Â Youâre not broken, youâre resting, and much like spring, creativity comes back.
Musing on what we get to see of the Umbrella mothers, I have some thoughts. I wonder if the mothers were shown as deliberate reflections of their children?
Lutherâs Mother. A confident business lady, giving or about to give a presentation. She shows leadership, confidence (that dress folks, YES), poise. Professional strength and intelligence. All things that Luther has aspired for.
Diegoâs Mum. Shown in the home, preparing a meal. A home maker, caring, love language presumably acts of service. A reflection on how Diego always seems to have wanted to be a real family, with real connnections and care. His closeness with Mom/Grace. Also, knife skills.
Allisonâs Mother - a teacher. And if my memory serves me, teaching geography/geology with a diagram of the earthâs layers on the chalkboard. A nurturer who works with youths/children, and who has the power to inspire and change lives with her words.
Klausâ Mother - Amish. The simple, self-sufficient and religious life doesnât seem a good fit at first glance, but when you look a little deeper I think thereâs some parallels. Religion/Spirituality/Mediumship/literal crossing to the other side are all linked beneath the surface. And the self sufficient life style - Klaus has never really gone without. Whatever he has thought he needed or wanted (materialistically) he has been able to get, one way or another. Heâs adaptable, a charmer, he always lands on his feet.
Fiveâs mother, the butcher. A professional who can get the job done, isnât afraid to get her hands dirty, but can work with precision. Ability to separate emotions from the job at hand. Also, excellent blade skills and good understanding of anatomy. A good parallel to Fiveâs ruthless fighting style and the professional pride he took in his assassination work.
Benâs schoolgirl mom. Young, really starting to explore life, with years and years ahead of her. Too young to be thrust into motherhood, such a momentous change, regardless of the instantaneous nature of it. A reflection or mirror to her son, who was beginning to explore life outside of the academy and died too young.
Viktorâs mother. The aspiring olympic swimmer who wanted to rise above ordinary and compete with the extraordinary - something Viktor longed for for most of his life and formed a huge part of the S1 arc, and really still influences Viktor even in S3.
Sacheen Littlefeather has passed away on October 2nd 2022. While people remember her for her acceptance speech on behalf of Marlon Brando, know that she also ended the media blackout of the Wounded Knee occupation, won an Emmy & co-founded the American Indian AIDS Institute of San Francisco.
Klaus telling Diego he "barely got out with his life" when Hazel and Cha-Cha tortured him back in S1 but now we know he probably actually did die a couple of times in the process and just CAME BACK TO LIFE WITHOUT EVEN REALISING ?? Klaus ?? đđ
