WIP Of An Illustration I'm Working On For One Of My AUs :)

KIU MLP designs! Because why not, lol

Pit & DP's cutie mark designs ~

Some things I put into consideration for their cutie mark designs~

Pit: (Palutena bow) arrow pointed towards a circular symbol of light, laurel crown leaves, wings, and a heart :)

Dark Pit: (Silver bow) arrow, his wings (which represent the freedom of flight), a broken laurel crown (doesn't listen to the gods/does what he wants), and broken mirror glass (he wants to find his own identity) ^

Fun facts in this mini au: DP came out of the mirror as a blank flank. He represents Pit's desire to have a bit more independence and be free from his responsibilities sometimes, so this was reflected as someone with someone with complete freedom to choose their path/destiny.

DP believes cutie marks restrict someone's path for a while, but learns later on this isn't the case. Once he realizes that, he earns his cutie mark later on. I imagine Viridi got a little bit too bossy one day and DP made sure she remembered that he's not Pit & that no one can control him. (Laurel crowns were snapped that day.)

He's very outspoken and this litttle pony will sass you & snipe you at point blank with his staff (so be careful xD)

One of my final projects (the one I'm most proud of ^^)

This is a hexagonal luminary/lantern protraying the tale of Icarus in animal / wolf (or fox) form because I love drawing wolves/foxes :)

Also had to arrange the panels with type :)

(Actually I had to make a whole document to practice narrative presentation, but it has my name on it & some mistakes and I don't feel like editing on indesign rn xD)

I put off posting this because I wanted all the panels glowing, but ultimately decided just one was fine cause it doesn't quite have the effect I wanted oof. Still cool though!

The design is actually on printer paper glued to mixed media paper because my family's printer refused to print properly on mixed media x)

It would probably look even cooler if I cut out some shapes but I didn't have time for that rip (I had to do SO much for finals lol)

Got a really good grade for it all. Hope you like it too! :D

Here's the first concept sketch I made for another Kid Icarus AU :)

Idea: After the events of KIU, Pit starts to make some changes to his schedule and picks up a hobby, as per Dark Pit's suggestion. He becomes an inventor/craftsman with the help of Dyntos and makes himself and Pittoo a pair of functional wing enhancers made with pegasus feathers. The devices allow them both to fly on their own. Here Pit is watching Pittoo take off with his set of wing enhancers for the first time ^^

This AU is called Surface Pressure and Pegasus Feathers! (also the name of a fanfic I'm working on for it :)

The first part of the title is because it's fun to imagine the song "Surface Pressure" from Encanto as Pit venting to Dark Pit lol. I scripted an animatic, but decided showing how the lyrics relate though a fanfic would allow me to show this concept sooner lol)

More fun ideas in the fanfic:

-Pit and Dark Pit get pegasus friends and name them ^^

-The bois learn how to read & write

-Dark Pit is determined for Pit to find his own way to deal with his issues (and is also really good at persuasion)

-The fic is essentially about what it takes for Pit to fully learn "philautia" (regard for one's own happiness/self-love.) He has a lot of agape (Selfless/unconditional love), but it needs to be balanced :)

Kid Icarus hyperfixation has returned to me FULL force so I went on a quest for content and found farvaduvet’s really pretty style and cool roleswap au :)

I hecking love the designs SO much omgoshhhhh 

So I decided to try and draw Dark Pit (Pit in this AU)

@farvaduvet HELLO I WOULD LIKE TO ABSORB YOUR ENTIRE STYLE AND ABILITY TO DRAW DYNAMIC POSES AND DESIGNS A LOT

Anyways,, this is a very messy WIP for something even cooler if my hands allow me to draw more for it and my editing program works properly for what I have in mind :P
