hangman tensed up, jaw clenched to the point where he could feel the soreness, eyes narrowed on the woman in front of him. he wasn’t ready to admit it to himself, so how would he even admit it to her? instead he shook his head and let his gaze travel downward, running a hand through his hair. don’t give yourself away he told himself in his head, but he stayed as collected as possible as he chuckled to himself.
